Hi. Welcome to my channel. I'm Josh Hart. I'm a 24 year old Autistic, (Asperger's Syndrome), who is obsessed with VHS Tapes and CD's, (and all Physical Media in general), and also with MLP, (G4 and G5 ONLY). I collect all kinds of unique and interesting VHS Tapes, and I'm into all different kinds of Music.
I post all kinds of really neat videos on here, (when I have the time), that relate to my love for VHS's and CD's, and, to an extent, my MLP obsession.
I hope you all enjoy the content I post on here. Just remember these simple rules.

A Brief Demonstration On My Brand New Kinyo VHS Rewinder
I got this rewinder I want to say about 2-3 years ago, (it’s kind of hard to remember at this point), at a yard sale for dirt cheap.
It was essentially brand new, and was still in the box, and it even came with the Manual still inside it. I’m assuming this was either never used, or if it was, it was used very, very sparingly.
I decided today to finally take it out of the box and test it out a bit, and, at least for the most part, it appears to work beautifully!
I decided to record this video in the spur of the moment while I was testing it. (The tape used here was actually the 2nd tape I put in it, BTW, I used a few other tapes after filming this video).
So this is basically just a little demonstration to show off how well this rewinder works. I know these types of videos are somewhat popular, and I myself have done them before. So I figured it only made sense to do a video for this one.

And yes, I do still have my two-way Gemini rewinder, that I still do use very frequently, and will still continue to use very frequently.
This one will basically be a backup for when that one finally gives out.
And my plan is to try and use my rewinders at least somewhat more frequently from here on out, so that the VCRs I currently use can hopefully last a little bit longer.
(Most of the ones I have besides the Sharp TV/VCR one are all pretty much on their last legs, all in different ways. I will maybe try to get some more better working VCRs sometime in the near future. And by that, I of course mean actual high quality VCRs, and none of those crappy Funai manufactured ones).

Back on Friday, I got “A Prairie Home Christmas” and it’s not a CD, it was a cassette release from 1994, and it was on 2 cassettes, I will transfer these two to CD’s.

Regardless of what the man himself may have done in the past, the VHS itself is still a cool find, and it's definitely a nice new addition to my collection.
That is a cool tape. It's even better that it has remnants of Kmart on it.
It is always really awesome when I come across old VHS tapes that still have old price stickers from stores that are now defunct. (I've found, and bought brand new sealed tapes that were originally purchased from Suncoast Video too in the past. I've probably had other sealed tapes that were originally from Kmart without even realizing it). It's also awesome when I come across a CD that still has the "The Wall: Lifetime Music Guarantee" sticker on it, (of which I do have a couple within my own collection), or that was originally from some other music store that is long gone.

In addition to all of these, I used to have soundtracks of “Saturday Night Fever”, “Grease”, “Footloose”, “Dirty Dancing” and “More Dirty Dancing” on vinyl, but I do have the soundtracks to “Annie” (with the 1977 Original Cast album) and “Urban Cowboy” on vinyl. Maybe I will get either vinyl or 8-track tapes of the soundtrack albums someday. UPDATE: I made a homemade CD of Tony Bennett’s “16 Most Requested Songs” which is the same album that you have. I also have plenty of Tony Bennett albums on CD and Vinyl.
15:27 i found what the disc artwork for a pooh christmas looks like (its just a light green disc with hollies decorated around the cd)
If you look SUPER carefully at 1:01, you can see a bunch of square dots right before the silent WSOD.
And RIGHT right before the WSOD appears, the screen is green for a split second😆 (play the video at 0.25 speed and you’ll see what I mean)
Awesome collection! I have a lot of CD’s in my collection along with vinyl, cassettes, reel-to-reel and 8-tracks. The only way to find these albums that you showed me, is none other than Discogs.

What a massive collection of Christmas CD’s. I had a bunch a them on vinyl, so I got rid half of them to make way for CD’s, and some are on 8-track tapes. I’ll start building up my Christmas album collection of different formats like vinyl, CD, cassette, 8-track and reel-to-reel tapes. If I see any of the titles on the spine, the best way to check is none other than Discogs.
I now have “The Perfect Christmas” album, but not on CD, but on a homemade 8-track tape instead of playing a CD. You know, the 8-track was a tape cartridge with all 4 programs with songs on them. It started back in the late 1960’s, and became popular in the 1970’s, and then phased out completely by the late 1980’s.
I have no words for this. Very interesting and weird. And at the BEGINNING of all things 😮. I wonder if other copies of this tape have that. 🤔
If someone else found a copy of this tape with this exact same thing on it, that'd be the most unbelievable, but also the most amazing thing literally of all time!!!
@@therealvhsandcdbrony2000 I will get the Betamax copy of Willie Nelson and Family in Concert in the future that has the Extremely Rare High Pitched Red Screen of Death at the Very Beginning of the tape. This doesn’t have the Republic “Eagle” logo at the end since “Under California Stars” was a Republic film, but I did checked on TH-cam that it has the same closing with the Republic “Eagle” logo.

6:25 you need to use the frame by frame button on your remote to pause it right that is if your sony vcr dvd combo has a remote.
I unfortunately do not have the remote to this VCR, but maybe I'll try looking for the actual remote for it online somewhere! Thanks for the tip!

For some reason I always keep having this nightmare about the Monday's child popping up but as soon as he was about to laugh his face just randomly disappeared and then the whole screen started glitching with loud buzzing sounds like I was watching a glitchy YTP or something.
Yikes. Just reading that is giving me the creeps. (Though I could totally see someone making a YTP of this where that does actually happen. And I'm sure it'd scare the hell out of me if I watched it).
