It's insane how they took something as "big monster" cool as the dinobots and made their characters complex and as sad as Rogue One. (Yes I have heard that they don't die, but the game gives it that vibe) and I'm one hundred percent for it.

Of course, Optimus Prime and Megatron is iconic in itself, but the idea of Grimlock actually being competent enough to hold arguments with Optimus, and strong enough to go toe to toe without hesitation or fear, is a super compelling rivalry

It made a lot of sense, in the G1 show Grimlock was strong and dumb but in FOC he talked funny because shockwave increased his strength with the Dino form but all his other functions suffered. Cause he can't talk properly he can't communicate what he's thinking and it makes him angry and also that he suffered for shockwaves experiments. So that rage manifests into his Dino form. He's not able to control it.

i love this version of grim he sounds like a Very dumb brute but he's got Fairly Average Intellect for someone who literally got 80% of his brain reprogrammed for Battle
I just realized that, in this continuity, Grimlock and Shockwave are very similar characters, as crazy as it sounds. I mean, Shockwave regularly commits war crimes for the sake of logic, but so does Grimlock, which is part of the reason why he and Optimus don’t exactly click. It’s almost exactly like in Jujutsu Kaisen where Yuji tells Mahito “I am you.”
“Press R3 to struggle” You know a game is good when it has actions that do nothing gameplay wise, just to make the game more visually cool. That didn’t come out right.

Michael Gregory it's slug not slag he's the triceratops you mean sludge?? and sludge ain't dead he's in stasis mode and probably because they couldn't fit all the dinobots at one go into the story slug and swoop just managed to get some screen time and snarl was just there lol its only grimlock that has any playability so there was not point
griimlock actually they could of had sludge in there , they didn't because the online mode only has 4 classes , so they needed an excuse to get rid of sludge so people would rage about not playing as sludge
Comander Alpha Doge he does come back in the comic after fall of cybertron so aint all that bad. weren't they dlc? never got any dlc so cant really remember.

Dark Spark is a sequel to WFC and prequel to FOC
RotDS’s cybertron missions were right after WfC and right before FoC. The Earth part is explicitly stated to be in its own universe.
