I love how the surgeon heard your concerns at the beginning about the forehead protrusions and actually reassured you that it was normal! Sayi g he can help with it if you want but that it is completely normal! All the staff seemed amazing, love you girl!
I also thought that her face looked feminine until she pointed out her flaws when the lighting is not perfect. During the jubilee video, i didn't even recognize her at first glance bc I saw her face in a completely different light, and her voice also sounded much less feminine. I wouldn't say she looked masculine, but you can definitely tell that she is not cis. I think her looks will profit a great deal of the ffs and she becomes more feminine.

I will get to my comments on your surgery, but OMG you went to the zoo near me! My wife and I went there at the end of April for her birthday. The pandas were a lot more awake for you than they were for us. Your medical team seems so kind and patient, and I'm so glad for that. Not sure which hospital you went to in VA, but it looks kind of like the Women's Hospital, which is where I had to have my hysterectomy a few years ago. The staff there were all amazing and kind. Your mom is amazing for filming and helping you document your surgery and for being such a support. Thank you - both of you - for documenting this and feeling comfortable enough to share it with us all. Demystifying the process makes it less scary for people thinking about it. We need to consider their experience, yes, but transitioning is saving much more lives compared to k*lling them, but I guess you haven't investigated enough :)

Aww how nice. It reminded me of when I got my bottom surgery 5 years ago this past December. My mom was there with me. It's so nice to have supportive parents.
My fave part of the video was the clonazepam/klonopin part bc they are the same thing and work so so good as demoed by Sam. Had my old doctor end my prescription early in my bipolar treatment after taking them for about a year. They work too good and I was sometimes losing whole days at a time...wasn't having anxiety though so *shrug* Thanks so much for the openness of this video Sam! Really loved the consultation part and forehead convo, as I get myself researched & prepped for this same procedure

I'm a cis woman and I have those big forehead bumps. They do bother me but I am not getting surgery from them, I just had a septoplasty yesterday to breath better and I hope I never need surgery again, the surgery is fine but the recovery is awful... you're so strong and brave.

Even if they aren't working with really sensitive parts of your anatomy, going under general anesthesia is inherently risky because it's almost shutting down your central nervous system. Aww how nice. It reminded me of when I got my bottom surgery 5 years ago this past December. My mom was there with me. It's so nice to have supportive parents.
My fave part of the video was the clonazepam/klonopin part bc they are the same thing and work so so good as demoed by Sam. Had my old doctor end my prescription early in my bipolar treatment after taking them for about a year. They work too good and I was sometimes losing whole days at a time...wasn't having anxiety though so *shrug*

I'm a cis woman and I have those big forehead bumps. They do bother me but I am not getting surgery from them, I just had a septoplasty yesterday to breath better and I hope I never need surgery again, the surgery is fine but the recovery is awful... you're so strong and brave.

Even if they aren't working with really sensitive parts of your anatomy, going under general anesthesia is inherently risky because it's almost shutting down your central nervous system. I'd have thought that was common knowledge.
