And for those of us who don't want children its so obnoxious to constantly be told that we're not real women. I have more purpose in my life than just being a baby factory
but you're still a woman despite not being able to get pregnant. your biological features are female and those of a woman. not only do transwomen not have the ability to be pregnant, but they also don't have all the other biological female traits. being pregnant is just one of the things only women have the potential to do.
Yes the only exception is when transphobes use the I use "insert obviously not serious pronauns here" I then refer to them as those pronauns. But I don't know if that is misgendering or not since they said to use them but they aren't the ones the transphobe actually uses.
Misgendering and deadnaming someone as a form of punishment and disrespect hurts all trans people. It normalises using our identities as a weapon and to invalidate us
exactly. if you wouldn't do it to a cis person, don't do it to a trans person. Concentrate on what that person did wrong instead of how to disrespect and insult them.

As a biologically female person (who is questioning their gender), her take on "female experiences" is infuriating. I was born with MRKH syndrome, which basically means my internal reproductive system (aside from the ovaries) never fully developed. I don't menstruate (but have hormonal cycles), I have underdeveloped bits that would become a uterus but basically it's like they don't exist, I have no cervix and my vagina is very small (one can use dilators or have surgery to expand it). Are people with my condition not allowed to identify as women then, because we don't get these experiences?
even if you pretend gender is not a psycho-social construct, biological sex is a very complicated thing as well, and to say that there's a true binary among billions of people is just laughable
You was born with xx chromosome so u are a woman and even whiteout all of that your body reconise u as a woman. My problem it’s but biological man who insist abt being woman they want to play sport with woman, go to bathroom with woman etc… thanks but no
Oof using the 'female experience' as a good argument against trans women is tired. Even two cis women will have vastly different life experiences, when are they going to learn you can't gatekeep womanhood
You identify the way that brings you joy. Don’t let an ass use up energy you’ll need to figure other things out. You’re perfect where you are right now in your journey. She’s an ass and will still be an ass after your life starts to blossom
Yeah, it really is infuriating. Just wanna say you're valid though. Your womanhood isn't tied to your genitals or reproductive organs. That's just stupid.

I just don’t understand why people in marginalized groups constantly seem to side with people who are outright advocating for erasing their existence. The Pick-Me phenomenon should truly be studied by scientists.
all trans people have internalized transphobia. we have to actively fight it to not become bigots. we're regular humans too, subject to the same whims of society, peer pressure etc. we aren't given special "trans supportive mindset" because we're trans. it took a lot of hard work for me to not be a transphobe, and i still haven't shaken it off completely. we're just people. by extension, there are tons of bigots who aren't cis or het. it's kind of an injoke that the L()GBTQ community hates each other. because it's true a lot of the time.
@XMLstudios that is literally impossible unless the society the person was raised in wasnt transphobic. which is a possibility, but haven't personally found it .
I mean i get it, i dont condone it but i get it. To be tolerated or SLIGHTLY accepted by the people who hate you most would feel validating and if you already have so much internalized transphobia then i dont think it would be too hard to throw other trans people under the bus. I mean its no coincidence that trans people and women are the groups who have pick mes and NLOGs, both groups are hated, made fun of, and demonized by society so anyone who is part of those groups and struggles with insecurity and feeling accepted would want to join in on the bullying rather than be a victim of it themselves. Its really sad, but in a way im optimistic because pick me girls and NLOGs were way more of a thing like a decade or two ago and now many women realize how stupid it was and now acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with femininity, so if history is to repeat itself then i would think in like 10 years all the trans pick mes will also realize the error of their ways.

@atinybruh for the millionth time, woman is an umbrella term that refers to the social concept of a gender. Cisgender means "same gender as the sex at birth", while transgender means "different gender than the sex at birth". Trans women are women, they're just not cis.

I never understood the argument that transphobes have with “having periods/being able to get pregnant = womanhood” because what would that make infertile women and women who have syndromes that would cause them to not have periods (things like MRKH)?
Agreed! I'm a woman who had a condition that required my uterus to be removed. I no longer have periods or the ability to get pregnant, so am I suddenly no longer a woman? It's such a flimsy argument.
It's much more nuanced than that, It's about chromosomes, gametes, and sexual organs, and if you're a woman, you're generally going to have periods and be able to give birth. Your body not functioning as intended does not change your sex.
It’s because those experiences are a vital part of womenhood, just because there are exceptions due to some women experiencing unfortunate bodily issues resulting in infertility doesn’t mean that the statement is wrong. It’s like saying humans have 4 limbs invalidates people born with less or less up with less limbs as humans. Exceptions don’t make the rule, women is a state of being, not a feeling.

Hi , yeah cause It’s a silly argument . I’m not trans but I fully support the lgbtq+ community . This is a silly ideology of to be a women you have to have reproductive assignments ( not good with wording things) cause some people cannot do that for medical reasons . Some may lose that ability and some complications happen so they are also invalidating others . And trans people are still human and trans woman are woman just like trans men are still men . I don’t understand transphobes and probably never will cause it isn’t even affecting them in the first place .
I'm a cis woman but same. I'm a woman because that's how I see myself, not because of any specific body parts, and it disgusts me to be described as basically just the sum of boobs, vagina and periods. Even if for whatever reasons I stopped having any of that, I'd still see myself as a woman.
I’m not gonna lie, when I first discovered that I was trans, I watched a LOT of Kelvin Garrah, which honestly I am ashamed of. I get that when you’re trans it can be hard to really be able to live your truth. I’m a minor in a transphobic household and I’m still living as a woman (I’m a trans guy), and I was just looking for a way to…I don’t even know. I wanted to validate my own transness by invalidating others. And if i, as a teenage trans kid in a really hateful household can learn how to accept everyone no matter what, and learn that I don’t need to invalidate others to validate myself, I genuinely hope that someday Kelly can learn that too. P.S.: Samantha, when I was getting out of my Kalvin/Blaire phase, you were one of the TH-camrs that really helped me learn to accept myself, so thank you for that 💕 edit: y’all stop fighting. If you’re going to be transphobic just leave
I’m glad you left that phase behind! Hope your situation improves, as in your household becoming less transphobic if possible, or if that’s not going to change right now then at least you will be 18 at some point and free to get some space. Best ❤
I have the same experience and it was not that long ago, ive seen some detransitioners crying they made a mistake, and conservatives were calling out trans ppl telling the detransitioner not to blame their mistake on transgender healthcare or smth. I fell into the rabbit hole of conservative content, i was denying being trans and was being very hateful. After i got “attacked” by another trans person ( they just told me the truth in a harsh way ) it rlly shook me, not long after that i realized how wrong the conservative views are and i was brainwashed. Now im a liberal again
I feel you. I almost went down that rabbit hole as well. I used to consider myself non-binary before I realized I was a trans guy, and I would often bend to the will of people who would’ve never accepted me, no matter how much I tried to distance myself from the “weird” trans people, like xenogenders. It’s a tale as old as time, trying to make yourself acceptable by punching down. We should work towards uniting our community, not dividing it.
I love to watch Blaire White and occasionally left point of views from trans women. I don't agree with either extremes but I prefer Blaire White over Samantha's takes usually. Although I don't particularly like gun rights. I hate Ben Shapiro

Samatha, your perspective on this is spot on, this is a topic I’ve been struggling with myself. I’ve lived as a conservative man most of my life and have experienced an inner ideological struggle since transitioning, but, I voted Democrat for the first in my life this past election and still felt as if I’ve had done something wrong, but I could not in good conscience vote for a party that would want to cause so much harm to me and others in the community, it would be self harming. Conservatism was supposed to be about more personal freedom and choice with less government interference, but, it’s really the opposite. It’s has become tyrannical, trying to force a singular viewpoint. I have always been pro life (my choice), but would argue with my republican friends that it’s a women’s right to choose and we should support that because we believe in individual freedom and choice. This country was never intended to be a two party system and anyone can see how it has divided our country. Politically, I would say that I’m an independent, but only 2 parties can play to win in our system, so I must choose self preservation. I’ve wanted to be female since I was 9, and though transitioning was not an option in the late 70’s, I certainly would have wanted to be allowed to have gender affirming care as a minor if it was available. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EYE OPENING PERSPECTIVE SAMATHA, this has brought me some comfort and clarity.
I'm a 21 year old Cis(ish) women who is pansexul. I was raised VERY conservative, racist, and homophbic. I remember my mother saying she would beat my brother if he ever kissed a boy, and other similar things. I realized I liked girls around 11 and started questioning my gender about 15. I was transphobic for a time, racist, but not homophbic funnily enough. I never understood what was so bad about two boys or two girls kissing. It took time, and learning to become the ally, and queer adult that I am. My personal social beliefs are that this is my square. Inside the square are things that affect me (religion, gender, sexuality, medical, opinions, sself expression) These things should stay in the square (my land, my mind, and body) What is outside the square is our connection to other people (Pronous, preferred names, violence,) If it is outside the square it should not hurt others. What I'm doing in my square doesn't touch your square (religion, gender, sexual orientation, opinions, medical,) you don't t touch it unless I ask. If what I'm doing outside my square (Talking to others, working, general social stuff) touches your square I should be kind and keep the in square stuff inside the square unless it has to do with what we are doing(Drs.) The governments job is to keep everyone safe and healthy in their squares. It dose not touch any of the inside square issues expect to make sure they are allowed to take place. On the outside square issues it only use is to teach people how to act outside the square in extreme circumstances. (Violence, and theft for example) I think the less government on people, and more government on organtions is what we need.
It even didn`t work for some non-conforming members of the NSDAP (Strasser, Röhm, ....), as a comparison to LGB Alliance who are cis (in comparison to "Aryan") and part of the "transphobic family". What she doesn’t realise is that she will be the first the transphobes will turn to to detransition. And she can claim they can’t take things away from her but they can still force top surgery and force her onto T. Unfortunately they won’t be as lenient as she thinks they will. It’s sad really.
@@TheTGOAC If trans people have had surgeries which have taken out the organs which typically produce sex hormones, they need to take hormone replacement, regardless of whether it is estrogen or testosterone, otherwise there are serious health consequences. If legislation is passed to ban trans people from taking the hormones which affirm their gender, they have to take those which don't or suffer the effects of having no sex hormones. Which is a forcible detransition. Furthermore, the government could forcibly perform surgeries on people if it wanted to. It has been done in the past (ex Nazi Germany) and it could be done again if a government had sufficient motivation.
As an afab person who (unfortunately) has a uterus, thank you for saying that having babies or periods isn't a defining factor of womanhood. I'm currently on birth control, but skipping the menstrual week for my god-awful periods that make me wanna kill myself and let me tell ya I feel so much better. I'm currently 16, and it baffles me that the government is probably gonna try and take that away too because that's also gender-affirming care. Also, with this Roe v. Wade that they overturned. I'm sure they want rape victims and teenagers and people who just can't afford children to be having birth, which is another reason why they would ban birth control

Note to Kelly: most females don’t menstruate. Average age at first period is 12, average age at menopause is 51, average life expectancy of a US female is 79, so for over 50% of our lives average CIS women are biologically unable to menstruate. Add to that women who don’t have uteruses (hysterectomies, etc.), women who use birth control that stops them from menstruating and… pregnant women, and really who cares about whether someone has a period? Oh, and if pregnancy potential dictates womanhood than add infertile women to the non-menstruaters who apparently now need to self-identify so as not to offend conservatives. Infertile Women and Trans Women and Post-Menopausal Women are all disqualified from just being women? Would anyone actually be okay with requiring CIS women to share their health/reproductive status before joining a conversation about womanhood? No? So, why should a woman have to identify herself as trans? No shame in it (or in age or in infertility), but in most situations it’s nobody’s darn business.

I find it so difficult and frustrating trying to get any medical care, but especially gender affirming care... It really upsets me to see trans people not supporting the community in times like these and it's really hard to take any apology to heart. An apology in the end is just a few words; actions speak so much louder than words...
The whole "it was a product of it's time" argument makes zero sense. That's like saying "the holocaust was okay... of course it wouldn't be okay today, but it was just a product of it's time"

To the point ... clearly she is clinging on to every aspect of societal privilege that she can still muster and the perks that go long with it. It wont work she will ultimately find out... but she will continue seek the opportunities of such validation at every opportunty.
You're a woman, Kelly is a woman, I'm a woman. Why do we have to make a difference between transgender and cisgender women? The only situation I can see it matters is maybe in the doctor's office. Otherwise, just in society, why do we care?
I don't understand why people are so confused by the statement that Transwomen are women. Women is literally in the title of TransWOMEN. I saw someone make a comment on something the other day that basically stated "Transwomen are transwomen and Women are women." Very weird, very redundant statement because while obviously they were referring to ciswomen in the second part, the redundancy is the same as stating that a flower is a flower. Transwomen are women. Ciswomen are also women. While ciswomen and transwomen are not the same, they are both women, and the distinction exists because there are differences, and in real word everyday language, the prefixes need only be used when relevant.
At 11:08, she doesn't describe differences between trans and cis women outside of menstruation. She mostly describes differences between trans women and pregnant people. I'm a cis woman who plans to NEVER be pregnant, but that does NOT make me less of a woman. For all women (cis and trans) who cannot get pregnant, you are not less of a woman for that.
There's also lots of cis women who never get pregnant or even some that don't get periods and people wouldn't say they're not women so it's such a dumb point for Transphobes to make
She also posted that divorce should be illegal and also women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Not sure who she is trying to impress but it's not alot of us.
I get where some trans people come from when they say that they're trans women and not women but it just doesn't align properly. Loads of cis women have different experiences from others (no periods, not having a baby) and loads of cis women have grown up in a culture that's acts completely different about gender. Doesn't mean they aren't real women, just different kinds. Same with trans women.
I can not understand the logic about why trans people should not be allowed to compete in sports being a "biological advantage", the people that excel in sports usually have some biological advantage that they've refined with practice, is it fair to the people who don't have those biological advantages? Like just let there be an actual problem before you go about labeling and solving it
Agreed, but if so I REALLY hope she finds the right therapist. Not one who agrees with her, not one who is covertly transphobic, and not one who just says mm-hmm. Kelly needs the real deal.

As someone that was born AFAB and can't get pregnant, I get so tired of womanhood reduced to procreation abilities.
And I am happily child-free by choice at 54.
Same and i can get pregnant…..just don’t want to.
No one is saying that womanhood is reduced to procreation. Its reduced to bioological sex wich is determined by chromosomes and sex charcteristics.
Not misgendering someone is just human respect even if they are a horrible person. The fact that they only do this for trans people too.
Yes the only exception is when transphobes use the I use "insert obviously not serious pronauns here" I then refer to them as those pronauns. But I don't know if that is misgendering or not since they said to use them but they aren't the ones the transphobe actually uses.

She’s an ass and will still be an ass after your life starts to blossom

all trans people have internalized transphobia. we have to actively fight it to not become bigots. we're regular humans too, subject to the same whims of society, peer pressure etc.

I never understood the argument that transphobes have with “having periods/being able to get pregnant = womanhood” because what would that make infertile women and women who have syndromes that would cause them to not have periods (things like MRKH)?
Yeah, saying someone isn't a real woman because of fertility issues would be pretty sh¡tty.
But...
Transphobes are sh¡tty people.
Agreed! I'm a woman who had a condition that required my uterus to be removed. I no longer have periods or the ability to get pregnant, so am I suddenly no longer a woman? It's such a flimsy argument.
They make fun of them for being “unnatural” unlike trans women who naturally cant do those things 🙄
It's much more nuanced than that,
It's about chromosomes, gametes, and sexual organs, and if you're a woman, you're generally going to have periods and be able to give birth.

This country was never intended to be a two party system and anyone can see how it has divided our country.

Whats funny is i started watching blair white as a way to learn about these issues as a cis male (before she went political) and through the algorithm found your channel. Been here for about 2 years now.
It is interesting to hear both perspectives between you and blair, sometimes on the same issues.
Blair is very disliked in thr trans community though as she has attacked multiple trans people making claims that weren't true then never apologising
The funny thing is, only from the sum of physical female sex characteristics aside self-ID, Samantha is rather a "real" woman than Blaire.
@queenbean7071 I see that now but back then when I was trying to learn and everything around 2019/2020 she wasn't like she is now, it was more so normal topics and vlog type stuff
@Trenton Worsham eh true but then again so was alot of the right.
It's only during and after covid they've really gone mask off. Before they pretended to not be
@@queenbean7071 she is disliked because she has different opinions and stands by them, it's called free speech.
You clearly never watched any of her videos.
She really went "But I never thought the Leopards Eating Faces party would eat MY FACE"
Thank you for covering this ❤ love your content!
No shame in it (or in age or in infertility), but in most situations it’s nobody’s darn business.
wait but wasn't she blatantly DISAGREEING with the people calling the result of her bottom surgery a wound? she says it''s "disrespectful" and she "won't stand for it", no?
Yeah, I was also confused by this
I thought I just misread the tweet, but that’s the reason why she didn’t go on the podcast with Tim, right?
Correct. But most TH-camrs don’t bother reading their enemies’ tweets, hence the hate for Kelly. Don’t get me wrong, Kelly is a pick me trans girl in the strongest sense of the word but not everything she has done is a display of self-hatred. Samantha misinterpreted Kelly’s tweet regarding her refusal to go on Tim Pool’s podcast in the same way some men’s rights activists have misinterpreted feminists’ statements regarding a divorced father’s custody to his child. It’s all for the purpose of gaining likes and clicks!
@@MishMashi this was my thought too
6:10 As a young trans guy who lives in Tennessee/Nashville, this was SCARY when it happened. One of my ex-friends who’s trans told me like when it happened, and they like lived a FEW BLOCKS down from where the shooting happened. When I heard that the person was supposedly trans, I just remember that I already KNEW what people were gonna say. I knew they were gonna just pin everything on the trans community.
Fun fact: Back in the days of slavery, black people did not think being enslaved was normal. They knew it was wrong. Many white people also knew it was wrong but just thought "that's just how things are".
My toxic trait is that as soon as someone expresses heinous opinions, I have the irrepressible urge to ruthlessly attack their appearance. I try not to give in to my toxicity but… let’s just say that my brain is going nuts thinking about all of the things I COULD but WONT say about Kelly.
It's good that you are working on yourself. I'm proud of you.
There is no bigger trans pick-me than Blaire White. Literally her entire channel now is invalidating every other trans person and desperately pandering to conservatives,
no she’s just not delusional 😭 this whole community loves a trans person until they have different opinions than them it’s ridiculous
Different opinions as in hating another person for identify the same way you do but with minor differences? Or mocking anothers person identity, enabling harrasment and fear?
Thats just an opinion to you? I've seen people get harrassed online cause of what Blaire Whit has said about them, its awful.
@@joemomma881 yeah, crazy how ppl hate someone for believing they shouldn’t be allowed to exist publicly, i mean what happened to free speech?!

Honestly, I get it. Pulling shit like she pulled takes work to undo. Once she does the work, maybe then she should be welcomed back into the community. Until then, fuck no

This. You intentionally hurt the community you have to take accountability before you should ever expect our support again.
@@Jane-oz7pp Exactly

I'm a 30 year old trans man in Washington state, which is usually considered a very liberal state, and EVEN I CAN'T GET GENDER AFFIRMING CARE RIGHT NOW! Legit, Planned Parenthood told me to, "Be strong and hang in there" until they could start giving gender affirming care again and I JUST got a new primary doctor a week ago after 5 YEARS OF TRYING TO GET A PRIMARY DOCTOR!
That's like saying "the holocaust was okay... of course it wouldn't be okay today, but it was just a product of it's time"
it's absolutely correct and ok to say that . Because people back then didn't have the same thinking and morals of the today.
But of course the woke weirdos want to hold people back then to nowadays standards.
@@LizardOfMonaco-gb9iqthis argument is literally used to defend child marriage and child SA
I'm an intersex trans girl. I was amab. I have periods. They are not fun.
It is not the centre of womanhood. Periods being called for is only a thing at all because perisex trans women are excluded from it.
Istg if I see people in the comments use her as an excuse to be transphobic....
these "people" will always find excuses to be transphobic. a trans person could walk by a kid at the grocery store, and they'll find some way to twist it into trans people being groomers.
We are not entitled to community, and this is what people like this don't understand.
Don't compare Kelly to Blaire. Kelly is very homophobic and keeps changing his (I'll expand on why I say he in a minute) opinions to try appeasing everyone. Blaire has her opinions and is consistent with them. She isn't a pick me, she just has a genuinely different opinion. Kelly is different. He transitioned because he hates gay men while being gay himself (and has admitted this multiple times), unlike Blaire who transitioned due to gender dysphoria. Kelly has spoken in support of forcing gay men to transition and live as women, like what they do in Iran
Samantha is a God damn treasure! She is so amazing we don't deserve her.
THX SAMANTHA 4 REFILMING THE VIDEO !!!1
I've been seeing her on tiktok so im glad u talked about her

9:00 This is all you need to know about our fellow sister. Thanks Samantha for raising awareness. Now I know I have another transister in social media to avoid
Young people teaching me new words/phrases, I feel so old. 😂😭
Loving your vids Samantha, the way you go from sweet to sassy is great. 😆😄
She's since gone back on her apology (calling it bs) and is back on Twitter using anti-trans talking points. I was one of the ones that believed and accepted her apology so I just feel stupid now
Honestly, she's super hypocritical and manipulative. If she ever puts in the work to change I'll accept it, but her apologies are just tactics to appeal to the conservative community and the LGBTQ+ community
(No disrespect to you tho, you seem lovely)
Its the audacity of what she said about black people thats unforgivable.
I'm glad you love us enough to re-record the video, it was excellent.
Simple.. Because they ARE transwomen they have male parts, women do not have male parts!
"its giving.. blaire white" MADE ME CACKLE
I think she's trying to pull a Trisha Patis on us... the timing in this current political climate is horrifically unfortunate....
Kelly cadigan, Blaire White and Katlynn Jenner are like the trifecta of pick/me attitude
I can not understand the logic about why trans people should not be allowed to compete in sports being a "biological advantage", the people that excel in sports usually have some biological advantage that they've refined with practice, is it fair to the people who don't have those biological advantages? Like just let there be an actual problem before you go about labeling and solving it
Love your content very informative😊
She's so ridiculous, I hope she gets therapy lol
Agreed, but if so I REALLY hope she finds the right therapist. Not one who agrees with her, not one who is covertly transphobic, and not one who just says mm-hmm. Kelly needs the real deal.
Every community got a pick me person who will go against the best interest of their community and themselves. Sad
I was watching this vid and when you were about to start the clip of Kelly speaking I got ad. Never thought ad would be a good break in vid.
I remember following her before her page became transphobic; it was absolutely crazy seeing her change in real time, especially because it seemed so quick

She transitioned at 15? I thought Kim Petra was the first person to transition as a minor and she was 16 at the time. I gotta call shenanigans if she transitioned at the age of 15. 🤔
“Am I right, am I right? …There’s nobody here” I fell out at this moment sis
Kinda off topic but you're really pretty!! The braid looks really good on you
She seems extremely unhappy and needs therapy
Omg I'm a Taurus too🎉
Also I agree minors shouldn't be transitioning surgically but they should be allowed using different pronouns name, cut hair/grow it out, and even just identifying.
minors should be able to take hormone replacement therapy and if a trans guy wants to have top surgery and he's atleast 16 then he should be able to have it.
Even other trans women think 🤔 that Kelly is out of the wall😢😅😊🎉 she is not what the majority of trans women are representing. She actually sees angry 😠 😮😢with life itself ❤
Weird use of emojis but true
You don't know most trans people. Most people in general think most trans people are not right in the head. If a minority of trans happen to think correctly like the rest of the world that's a good thing for trans people as a whole. It means you aren't completely hopeless

Whenever I see a trans pick me person and look at the comments, they’re all just misgendering/deadnaming them, like why would you subject yourself to that
The biggest reason I watch and support your channel is, you are so real.
I love that you don’t believe in throwing others under the bus for selfish gains. That’s how I like learning about any group that’s different from me, and one that’s the same as me as well. You stay as my hero simply because you’re honest about everything ❤, so you’re more than just a great trans person, you’re a treasure for all humans (sorry if that came off as corny, but I do mean it).
