I am totally in love with Matthew mcfadyen as mr Darcy, l love, l love, l love u and never want to be parted from from this day forth. The ending was rubbish.
Janis Dolan me too! I have a crush on this guy that looks just like him and I don’t know if I like Matthew (Mr.Darcy)because of the guy or the guy because Matthew(Mr.Darcy)
Iman Karko: Yes, in fact the only thing that wasn’t perfect about that era was the lack of antibiotics to treat some of the more serious, yet easily curable, diseases.
I adore the dresses and the gentlemanly aura guys usually have during those days but nah, the negatives far outweigh the positives. The clear division of social class where bloodline really matters and how the poor people were treated disgust me. Not to mention women hardly have their rights. It was a men's world back then. The opinion of society was given too much value. You couldn't just do what you want because then, 'what will people say?' Reputation also mattered too much, especially in regards to women. Men could have mistresses outside their home but damn if a woman is seen publicly in the embrace of a man. She's 'ruined' for the rest of her life. The world we lived in today is fucked up but at least, it isn't too constricting. We even have freedom we didn't have before 😉
Alejandra Chávez yes thank you it’s actually completely inaccurate from the hair to the dresses to the social class this family seems to be represented in
Watching this movie made me fall completely in love with Jane Austen. I watched this movie everyday for 2 whole weeks. The color, the acting, the setting were all magnificent. A truly well-made film.
Sometimes I can't believe how sentimental we are about this film, and we were nowhere in it at all. It's like we were somehow a part of it, and their memories are our memories. It is so beautiful.
I remember watching this movie for the first time when I was younger, my family ordered it on Netflix back when all they had was DVDs, haha! I remember thinking I wouldn't like it because it was based on an old boring book (which I have read and love now haha) but I just absolutely absolutely adored it. It's still one of my all time favorite movies, I can repeat a bunch of the lines back as the characters say them because I've watched it so many times. It's like comfort food or like an old familiar friend. I can't say enough good things about it, everything about it is perfect, the acting, the music, the sets, the scenery, the lived in feel, and the CINEMATOGRAPHY ughhhh. this story is one of the best of all time and they did it justice in such a beautiful way.
I regret of being late to get to know about this movie in 2021 .. but I must say ... I'm in love with this movie . Since then I've watched it 4 times and still counting . I just love those times .. Dresses, places , way of speaking, culture and everything ;)
❤️❤️ best English movie so romantic beautiful scenery no vulgar scene nice for our children to watch and learn from it the women are modest and beautiful.
I found it amazing how much rain fell in this movie. Elizabeth was drenched to the bone thru out. Such a nice touch all that rain with beautiful scenery.
It's been 4 days since I watched the film for the first time and all I can really do is love this movie and look up behind the scenes on it even... Clearly I should've watched this much longer ago lol
I’ve read this book more times than I can count and this movie is easily one of my absolute favorites ❤ absolutely captures the heart of pride and prejudice

I grew up and lived in Groombridge 1946-1964, fondly remember the annual church village féte which the owners of Groombridge Place graciously allowed on their grounds, very much 'Jam and Jerusalem' but wondrous to a small child.
I'm super late to see this version,I am in love with this movie, wish it would have been a mini series like the 1995 version, but it is fantastically romantic.Well done
I can not thank you enough for posting the behind the scenes of this movie. I’ve been looking for all of the houses the 2005 movie version used. I am obsessed. Bless your heart ❤️❤️❤️
Wow it's 12 years ago first time I saw this movie n still love it n watch it again ...again...so sad so hard to find the good 1 quality n with full scene
This movie and Emma 2020 version are my obsessions. I had watched them countless times like every night that I have learned the script word by word. They all did such a FENOMENAL JOB🙏🙏🙏

Джо Райт снимите вторую часть Гордость и предубеждение и назовите 20лет спустя. Режиссёр такой романтик, что просто невероятно, всё так замечательно. Фильм бесподобный.❤
I’ve just finished both the film and the book recently and i love, i love, i love pride and prejudice dearly. I can’t stop thinking about it, I’m now gone to the length of reading fanfiction of P&P ToT
Bought the DVD; have the sound track, downloaded the pictures and love the movie and everything associated with it. This movie helped me to become a Jane Austen fan forever.
I'm enjoying watching these videos of the sites of the filming of this version of Pride and Prejudice. This is one of my favorite movies of all time, and if I could only watch one for the rest of my life, this might be my choice. The actors, the scenery, the music, the wardrobe, I just love it. I had no idea what they had to do to get this house to look like it does in the movie, but they took it from one place of beauty to another, and I think the blue color of the living room is just gorgeous.
It was the most beautiful romantic comedy movie of my life I feel so sad when it watches If there’s anything to be sad I felt sad. And it’s my forever beautiful movie
Que maravilha! Pensei que as dependências da casa dos Bennet fossem cenários de estúdio. Mas não. É lindo. Inesquecível. Um filme inesquecível, fotografia lindíssima, belos personagens vivendo uma história emocionante.
I just adore Groombridge Place, I absolutely encourage everyone to visit if they can. Plus they have AWESOME stuff for kids and also peacocks and Zeedonks.Random AF but adorable as!
I'm from Tunbridge Wells, and the fact that I didn't recognise Groombridge Place just fills me with a great amount of disappointment in myself. I mean, I was only about 4 or 5 when this was filmed, but still.

The dresses
The ball
These paintings
The sculptures
These palaces

Nice to look at ...
however I am very content with indoor plumbing, central heating and wash and wear attire 👍
I watched Pride & Prejudice today and I can honestly say it’s now one of my favourite movies

I watched it until today and yes, to it could become one my favorite movies
This mansion was built by my 9th great-grandfather, Philip Packer. In 1686, he sat in the garden reading and died.
What a serene place to have lived and died. So glad his home was able to be used to film Pride and Prejudice. Many thanks.
Just hearing the soundtrack fills me with feelings I felt watching the movie and i just get chocked up with emotions
I am learning to play "Dawn" ;)
RIGHT literal chills all over my body

wow ! That is wonderful.
The setting is probably what I love most about this version. It felt so unsterilized, though I'm not sure that word conveys what I mean.
Yes it’s got a warmth and liveliness to it rather than just a stale copy of a painting of that time.
Sarah Greenwood, you marvelous woman. The visual joy this production has brought me is beyond words!
