    I'm heading out to parts unknown on Nov 1st. (Escaping the Deep FL Swamp) But I don't know where to go (in November) I have been to Sonora Desert (Organ Pipe) many times in the Spring (May) I have been to Sedona in August. Seattle in September. I have never been anywhere in Nov. - Gila and Sedona both look awesome to me...But my vehicle is a RX350 AWD not exactly a Jeep. I see there are quite a few paved roads in Gila NF... and a straight shot for me via I-10. I love the Sonora but I would really love to see the Rockies... some trees, some elevation.

      Thank you very much! My daughter graduated from high school this may. We have been planning a 3 month trip across the USA for years for her graduation present. God willing... He will grace us w health and the ability to do it. ...we are gathering information... have been for a while... your video is the first that made us really think about the need for filtering our water. God bless you for helping us. :) Ephesians 3 :)

    With your mention of the bluest skies it brought to mind what I have noticed not in the Ash Creek area but in the Lava Beds. Several times I have seen what appear to be darker (grayish, like smoke) trails across the sky, much like the white trails left by aircraft, but no aircraft have come by. Thanks for the heads up on so many potential places to visit, particularly in the west.

      Medicine lake, the lava beds, and glass mountain would be awesome to camp. We love that area and wish it was not under so much snow right now. Take care Mike and have a good day. 😀

    These sites all look the same. Rocks, dirt, small trees. Don’t you ever go to the eastern U.S? There’s lots of lakes and beautiful national forests filled with trees and waterfalls! Ah, finally that last site...

    I appreciate your taking me on your trips! I have a 17ft trailer so I have to ask if there are any issues to be aware of at Ash Creek. I’ve camped at Blue Lake and Burney so I like that area. I’m looking forward to checking it out a little more.

    • @oneadVANtureatatime
      @oneadVANtureatatime  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      17-foot trailer will be no problem. We recommend going in from the Adin side and not camping in the winter unless your prepared to wait out a few snowstorms. We love Blue Lake and Clear Lake. The high desert is my favorite! Thank you so much for watching and we hope you enjoy Ash Creek as much as we do. P.S. Make sure you go up the Dan Ryan Place road and not up the road to the campground. Once you go up the creek we like the camping spots as soon as you go over the bridge.

    Thanks for the lovely video of your favorite spots. I'm a life long backpacker who can no longer backpack because of arthritis, so the fact that there are unspoiled, uncrowded, absolutely beautiful, remote spots you can get to with a vehicle is thrilling to me. That is, I knew about BLM land access, but I never envisioned it would include such incredible places. I'm shopping for an rv as we speak! and saving your videos for reference material. Thanks so much. Be well and stay safe.

      @@oneadVANtureatatime Thanks so much! I will, most definitely. We are still deciding on what we want. I need room (to get a little space from the snoring of a certain person who shall remain nameless), and because we each have health conditions that make sleeping difficult at times. So right now we are thinking about new(ish) truck and used trailer. That way we can buy and sell trailers, if we have to, to find the right one. We both like the compactness of the stand up vans for driving and parking, but I'm pretty sure it won't be enough room for us to be comfortable. But nothing's for sure, only that it's time to go! Thanks again, you two, and best wishes. PS loved the super portable royak--what an excellent idea!
