I like the rock identifycation. The shutdown has let the wildlife come out of hiding. I have two falcons hanging around my place. People n cars usually keep the critters away. Would much rather keep the wildlife and scare the people away. BTW the plants are always spectacular and because of you I know what I'm looking at sometimes. Thanks

Oh man that is so nice! I had a little baby deer follow and look at me walking the dogs. The little babe didn't run it just cocked its head like 45* and looked, my dogs were trying to get to it but they were on leash. I waved and said "Hey pretty baby" then it's head cocked like 90* haha and it wagged it's little tail. Beautiful.

What a delight after the doldrums and depression that comes of looking at the news about coronavirus and mask conspiracy whack-os! Your well-placed misanthropy puts a smile on my face. I laughed aloud at your inspirational butterfly calendar close-up. And then you shifted from the absurd to the sublime with your next panorama as you rounded the bluff to show us the Silene campanulatum. It was breath-taking, albeit brief. I had to rewind and pause to take it in. There were so many plant and rock textures in that sweep of your camera that are worthy of the adoration of an Impressionist master. I DO want to screenshot and frame that one, since I can't go out to see it myself. Thank you for taking us along.

What do you use as a camera? Just your phone?
I recently got a 4k TV and well, it's mostly to look at cool nature shit. The details of plants are always so much cooler IRL, and while your vids are great, they would be fuckin' AMAZEBALLS if they were shown at Planet Earth II resolution. Hell, I bet many subscribers here would donate to get you a nice camera, or if you're just using a phone and prefer that (I know I do - big cameras are a pain in the ass to carry around when hiking in cool areas), one that can record in 4k nicely. Seriously. I'd put $100 towards getting you a good camera :D

Mystik Journeymen sampled a very nice groove from that song, the part where they "ooo oooo ooo ooo ooo". I sampled it too once, and chopped it up. Another nice part to sample and add to a track, is the when all the instruments drop out except the electric guitar, which takes the song into the breakdown.

Our farm is in the Columbia basin. One of our neighbors snuck a load of uninspected hay from California, now we're having to spray yellow starthistle every year. If we didn't, we'd get fined. Our neighbor that brought the starthistle doesn't spray anyway, and our other neighbor is someone's father-in-law and doesn't spray either. We usually dump several hundred dollars worth of chemical a year, and we've only got 45 acres.
