Thanks, Dante, for evaluating the device based on what it is instead of critiquing it based on what you wish it were (which so many other reviewers do).
I broke my Onyx Boox Poke 3 and have been eager to find an e-reader that fits in my back pocket that can run Kindle, Scribd, Glose, WSJ, Google News and Play Books. This does it all, and the price is nice. Cheaper than my Poke 3.
BTW, can it store Kindle books on the SD Card? I’ve had other tablets that limit what you can store there (or perhaps the app is the limiting factor).
Yes it can. I just got it this weekend and i tried moving my books to a micro sd and it let me do it

Did you tried the InkPalm 5? Those two are my options, but I'm unsure on what choose.
I have small hands (I still carry my old 5,5" phone) and had carpal tunnel. Weight is always my problem, I have a Kobo Aura One and it hurts for long times. Meebook M6 was my option because it has android, it has languages (compared to InkPalm) and google play (which Inkpalm doesn't). I want to use some Japanese apps on there, also Kindle. Things like Japanese dicts, Kanji Study, Anki… Also it has SD card option, which Inkpalm doesn't.
I know I can get a cheap tablet but I want something small (smallest are 8" and screen resolution is sh*). That's why I kept looking at e-ink android options but there's not so many on the small range. Do you think Meebook M6 could be a good option?

Looks very similar in fact almost identical to my now old Kobo Klara, that goes for the case as well. Very similar.
With the m7 release is it worh it to spend a bit extra?
¿ Does it have gps tracking? Like for maps. I believe poke 5 has. I'm in between these two
I have a likebook mars (basically a bigger version of M6). If I put my SD card in from that device, does it carry over all my book progress?
I wouldn't have thought so, that would be stored on the internal drive. Finish up the books first!
Is it worthy to buy to read manga or is it better to buy the M7? Regarding Size and not paper-like screen, is it a big difference from reading manga on a S20fe phone?
I had s20 FE 5g, considering its an amazing smartphone with an amazing display, e ink is on another level
I bought this 50% to be a low power MP3 player that I could stuff an SD card into, but mp3 playback skips with the built in player and every media app I’ve tried. Were you able to get audio playing reliably?
MP3 playback is one of the least CPU intensive tasks ever. Something else is up here - what speed is your SD card? It's possible that's a bottleneck.
@@MakeUseOf exactly what I thought. I’ve tried the built in app, aimp, poweramp, pocketcast, Pandora, it even stutters audio on TH-cam. First thing I tried was moving music to internal storage. Still does it after factory reset.
Wish it was in color to read my books, comics and manga
There are e-ink reader options in color.
colored ones have dead pixel problems most of the time i.e. onyx boox series
Making it backlit kinda throws throught the windows the hole point of eink displays
It would have been good if we could have seen a book demo, instead of games and comics.
they should have made this an 8" and a color e-ink plus an afordable price then that will be a winner.

This device is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. 8 inch would be a no for me, it must be portable. :)
