A big reason ppg was successful was because the superhero genre was usually male dominated so having a showing about little girls saving the day was unique. The rowdyruff boys are immediately at a disadvantage because the premise has been done before. The boys are also villains so it would be hard to make audiences root for them when their whole goal is to destroy the ppg. The only way the show would work is if overtime the boys become good people but audiences are drawn to them because they’re bad. While I think a full series would be hard to do it would have been cool if there was an episode just about them in the original show
Make a premise around wanting too surpass the girls in terms of status as the protectors of Townsville. I just hope we get to see the best sides of each of the Rowdyruff boys if we see them again. Bro I just finished making my own ideas if they ever get their own show last week. I wrote down episode ideas and made like 3 new characters that I created for the show. I also made the powerpunk girls be part of the show but I made the ne secondary characters. I just had so many ideas for this that I just had to write them all down in my special Dinosaur notebook. See I am a senior and if my robotics engineer career doesn't work out, then I'm gonna become a cartoonist or making ideas for cartoons because my auntie tells me that I was always great at coming up with great and creative ideas. I think its like my hidden talent.
THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!! Where do I even start, your want to be a robotics engineer and a cartoonist? That’s really cool, I’d actually love to hear your rowdy ruff boys ideas, so if you have discord join mines and send it in so everyone can see it!
I AGREE!!! I AM 100% ONBOARD OF THIS CONCEPT! when iwas a kid in the 90', i almost gave up on PPG, until i saw the RRB and they made me stay to see them again.
Dynamite Entertainment should give them there own Spin-off comic miniseries would be nice and I can't wait for what Craig McCracken does with then in sequel series since the new Power Puff Girls show will be similar to his work on Kid Cosmic from what I have heard
The video is as per usual great work. I don't think they needed their own show . However, I would love for them to get more focus in the upcoming show because I had so many unanswered questions about them. Say where they were living before Boy Toys?, like did they just bum with HIM or what? What were their opinions on the Gangreen Gang? Do they also have to deal with gaining new powers? What are they up too when not terrorizing the city? Do they know about Monster Island?, etc. Bubble Boy gives a little insight into that second to last one I suppose but the point still largely stands. Now Fuzzy Lumpkins on the other hand I could oddly enough see a spin-off working for. We know he has family and isn't a one of a kind entity, so some sort of series about how he got to be so crotchety/ might get better (like alluded too in the 2014 comics) might be a lot of fun. I could kind of also see something working that focused on the amoeba boys or Proffessor Utionium doing things when the girls are away. I’ll elaborate at some point when I am not so sleepy. Also yes, I also loved what the writers did with Custody Battle! With the question the episode hinged on ultimately being rendered utterly irrelevant. The writers were good at that sort of comedy. Show had plenty of PPG subversion of expectations / amusing anticlimax type endings elsewhere too.
See also Nano of the North where the professor just steps on and squishes the 'giant' nanobot construct or Mime For A Change where the girls just beat up Rainbow because they don't believe he's back to normal. In general the mastery of Bathos is really an underappreciated aspect of the original show. Yet again another peak thumbnail. That mini comic run you alludes to in it was honestly pretty fun. Especially the one (Snails Away) where they lose their powers through their own machinations. I don't know why something like that never happened to the main girls though. Maybe they just were more 'chemically stable' or maybe craig or others thought it would be too similar to other times they had had power restrictions.
Thanks Sara! And I’m actually with you a bit, there are so many questions about the boys. I wonder if their new developed powers would be different than the original girls. And you’re right, where did they sleep? Do they sleep? If the spin-off ever happened I would kinda want professors to adopt them in, unless they’re living with him and or mojo. Fuzzy lumpkins getting a spin-off or a special could work really well too, I’d be interested in learning more about where fuzzy comes from. And I appreciate the thumbnail love, I think it turned out really great, i accidentally used someone’s art on it and they got a little upset in the comments but I fixed it. Anyways I know this video isn’t perfect and the audio isn’t that good, plus some of the editing is lazy. But I promise you will be able to notice a shift in quality in the coming weeks. (Ps. I’m probably gonna make a separate video on the comics because they interest me so much) Appreciate you commenting of course!!
@@Childishju EH, well the audio is better than earlier videos, no need to be to hard on yourself. Ideally we should all be our best friends so to speak and be generous in how treat our selves :-)

People who are attracted to these girls aged up or not are as close to pedophiles as you can get without stepping foot on a daycare lmaooo. I’ve already made a video mocking people who are attracted to these literal children, but your comment is still pretty funny so I’ll let it pass lmaoo. (Side note, I want to talk about more than the Powerpuff girls. So I’ll do more series in the future)
I think that a RrB Spinoff can work. However, it's something that would be hard to do due to their status as villains and the fact that their entire existence is based on destroying the PpG. Maybe if they do something where the Powerpunk Girls show up, team with the Boys, then when the Powerpunk Girls are about to destroy their heroic counterparts, the Boys change sides. Their reason? "Nobody destroys those stupid Cootie filled idiots but us."
@@Childishju yeah. My idea is just as a way to get the Powerpunk Girls on TV, the Rowdyruff Boys to team with the Powerpuff Girls without their core design changing, meaning without losing their purpose, and present a threat that the Girls can't beat without the help of someone who hates them, while also maybe setting up a potential for a spinoff.
If the Rowdyruff Boys would make a return, why not the Powerpunk Girls as well? More importantly, what would the second animated Powerpuff Girls reboot be about if the original creator Craig McCracken were to ever work on it?
I would make it about the boys trying to have a change of heart and become good but they just can’t resist the urge to destroy things because of hims curse that he out on them. Also the Powerpunk girls are great but I feel like their show would be too similar because they are the same just the opposite. I think it could get old fast
Besides, they're not truly evil. Their creators are. Also, it's not like the girls aren't capable of making immoral decisions like in episodes like "Bubblevicious" "Candy is Dandy" or "Equal Fights."
I wonder what their theme song will be like. "Brick, Boomer, Butch they are ready to ruff things up with the evil and unsteady. Being from the other side, they know what it's like. Ms. Keane led them to a new light." I apologize if it's pretty cringe but what'd ya think?
I would LOVE that! Yeah being evil was never their choice. And I have no clue what their theme song could be but I’m really curious what it would be, definitely rock.
Oh. And i wanted to make my own series about the boys, maybe a movie about their teenage years and AAA-game. But out of respect for Craig, I will not monetize the series and the movie, but I will make the game free. (Or it doesn't work that way.) People who knows, if you can, so please explain me how it works for me to not run into problems in the future.
#GreenlightRowdyRuffBoySpinOff Im sure if we band together and spread the word like this hashtag and other things like petitions or making videos, a rowdyruff boys spin off can be possible.
I will absolutely consider doing this, if I could get the people behind it then it would be possible! I’m trying to do that with the Powerpunks too considering this June marks their 20th anniversary
The rowdyruff boys are too cool and interesting to have 6 episodes appearances from 1 - 6. They really deserve to have more appearances than that we need more information about them.
this could work it would be nice to see the RRBs get fleshed and be more then boy PPGs out to be evil but my main concern is that'll pander too much to fans and won't be anything of substance but hey maybe I'm just being negative
@@Mespoina yeah the reboot will do that to ya, and I tend to ignore the pushy fans. There is no possible way to make everyone happy unfortunately so I just hope Craig makes what he truly believes is the best possible product.
Would hate for fan characterizations to be pandered to tbh. Lol, it's fine if they happen to line up but I wonder if the RRB had some sort of design philosophy that we're not privy to, especially with regard to personalities. Like, Boomer isn't really Bubbles--he's a lot more negative than her (and tbh his brothers sometimes), while Bubbles is the most positive PPG. I think there's some interesting foil-type stuff that could be explored, but I'm not sure if anyone cares enough to put a lot of thought into their personalities design
Great comment as always! Well I would say the exact same thing as you at first when they were mojos creation. Because they lacked any real personality. But after they died and were resurrected by HIM I think it could be interesting to see the boys try to change their ways, only to learn that they can’t because unlike the Powerpuff girls who were born with free will, these boys were revived for the purpose of destroying the girls and don’t really have a say. It could be interesting to see them come to the girls for help, and try to get professor to find a way to break the spell. Not necessarily so they can be hero’s, but so they can decide who they want to be for themselves maybe. But that’s just what I personally had in mind.
maybe. it would be an interesting concept (to see the perspective of the villains in the powerpuff girls). however, it would also be kinda annoying because you know the shippers are going to jump on that opportunity to make more fanart and fanfics😂😂i honestly really hate that SO MANY people ship the ppg with the rrb. idk why, it’s just really annoying in my opinion. most ppg fanart and fanfics are centered around ppg x rrb and it’s just not something im into. i’m not into shipping and im definitely not into the idea at all of them being shipped together, lol. i’m not a huge fan of the rowdyruff boys. well, i do like them, they are okay characters, they can be funny at times, but i just love the girls way more, haha
Rowdy ruff boys should be anti hero story they're were heroes but in a bad way like steal and give them to the poor or defeat the villain but make them gone (like none existed) since we all hate jared from ppg reboot make the rrb bullying jared

Prince Mitch the official Rowdyruff boy.
And Craig has stated he doesn’t hate the rowdyruff boys
So
Yeah their definitely coming back in the reboot
I so look forward to it!
I AGREE!!! I AM 100% ONBOARD OF THIS CONCEPT!
when iwas a kid in the 90', i almost gave up on PPG, until i saw the RRB and they made me stay to see them again.
YES! I’m hoping it happens one day
Yes, 100%! Love those brats!
Those snotty nosed delinquents are great
Dynamite Entertainment should give them there own Spin-off comic miniseries would be nice and I can't wait for what Craig McCracken does with then in sequel series since the new Power Puff Girls show will be similar to his work on Kid Cosmic from what I have heard
Oh man I can’t wait for it
The video is as per usual great work.
(Ps. I’m probably gonna make a separate video on the comics because they interest me so much)
Appreciate you commenting of course!!
@@Childishju EH, well the audio is better than earlier videos, no need to be to hard on yourself. Ideally we should all be our best friends so to speak and be generous in how treat our selves :-)
considering how many video he has about power puff girls I wouldn't be surprised if he has a folder on his computer that is filled with erotic fan art of them
People who are attracted to these girls aged up or not are as close to pedophiles as you can get without stepping foot on a daycare lmaooo. I’ve already made a video mocking people who are attracted to these literal children, but your comment is still pretty funny so I’ll let it pass lmaoo. (Side note, I want to talk about more than the Powerpuff girls. So I’ll do more series in the future)
They would need to be fleshed out more and they could lose every episode like Sgt. Frog and Pinky and the Brian.
Agreed, that could be fun
That happened in the comics where they lost all the time
The creator also said on Twitter that he will not add the rowdyruff boys on the new series
That sucks. I hope he changes his mind
He never said that, he said he's bringing them in the best way possible
I think that a RrB Spinoff can work. However, it's something that would be hard to do due to their status as villains and the fact that their entire existence is based on destroying the PpG. Maybe if they do something where the Powerpunk Girls show up, team with the Boys, then when the Powerpunk Girls are about to destroy their heroic counterparts, the Boys change sides. Their reason? "Nobody destroys those stupid Cootie filled idiots but us."
Yeah I was thinking something similar, id be so down to see that. I guess it's all up to Craig now
@@Childishju yeah.
Just started the video and the intro already has me going ❤❤❤❤❤❤!!
Hey amethyst!! Yeah I had the idea for the intro in my head for a while lol
Yeah totally they should show us how they can be anti heroes and how in that future episode showed us they were good and had crush with the girls
Wait a minute this was my idea
I wanna watch it so bad
Yes. Probably should be about the boys adjusting to a new crime-free life and gaining a new parent (My bets are on Ms. Keane)
Definitely
That would be awesome if you actually did that!
@@Childishju well i'm not actually did it. I just want do this but in a far future.
#GreenlightRowdyRuffBoySpinOff
Im sure if we band together and spread the word like this hashtag and other things like petitions or making videos, a rowdyruff boys spin off can be possible.
I will absolutely consider doing this, if I could get the people behind it then it would be possible! I’m trying to do that with the Powerpunks too considering this June marks their 20th anniversary
The powerpuff girls have a gone far enough. It is time for the rowdyruff boys turn.
The rowdyruff boys are too cool and interesting to have 6 episodes appearances from 1 - 6. They really deserve to have more appearances than that we need more information about them.
They should have continue having more episodes appearances after custody battle.
1:54 What is that song? It sounds so cool
I gotta look for it, I’ll come back to you with a link :)
I will try make a script for episode 1 it called rivalry madness
Yes YES YES
They should of at least got plushies.
They didnt even get that.
I know theres A video of someone owning some but they were homemade
That sucks so much, those plushies could have been adorable
this could work it would be nice to see the RRBs get fleshed and be more then boy PPGs out to be evil but my main concern is that'll pander too much to fans and won't be anything of substance but hey maybe I'm just being negative
I think Craig could make it work, but I get your hesitation. Either way more rowdy ruff boys in general would have my attention lol
@@Childishju I've just been traumatized by the the reboot and pushy fans but either way good concept of a spin off
@@Mespoina yeah the reboot will do that to ya, and I tend to ignore the pushy fans. There is no possible way to make everyone happy unfortunately so I just hope Craig makes what he truly believes is the best possible product.
@@Childishju yeah that would be nice
Would hate for fan characterizations to be pandered to tbh. Lol, it's fine if they happen to line up but I wonder if the RRB had some sort of design philosophy that we're not privy to, especially with regard to personalities. Like, Boomer isn't really Bubbles--he's a lot more negative than her (and tbh his brothers sometimes), while Bubbles is the most positive PPG. I think there's some interesting foil-type stuff that could be explored, but I'm not sure if anyone cares enough to put a lot of thought into their personalities design
Another Question is How you think TV series would work without making them feel too much like Gendersswap Power Puff Girls?
#savethepowerpunkgirls
#savethepowerpunkgirls !!
It a good idea
Glad you think so
maybe. it would be an interesting concept (to see the perspective of the villains in the powerpuff girls). however, it would also be kinda annoying because you know the shippers are going to jump on that opportunity to make more fanart and fanfics😂😂i honestly really hate that SO MANY people ship the ppg with the rrb. idk why, it’s just really annoying in my opinion. most ppg fanart and fanfics are centered around ppg x rrb and it’s just not something im into. i’m not into shipping and im definitely not into the idea at all of them being shipped together, lol. i’m not a huge fan of the rowdyruff boys. well, i do like them, they are okay characters, they can be funny at times, but i just love the girls way more, haha
Yeah I’m personally not a fan of them being together lol, I think it’s a little weird and I’d personally rather them be sibling rivals
YEAH!!!! me too
@@Childishju Even if you don't ship them, you should know they are not siblings due to no blood relation. I ship them though.
Rowdy ruff boys should be anti hero story they're were heroes but in a bad way like steal and give them to the poor or defeat the villain but make them gone (like none existed) since we all hate jared from ppg reboot make the rrb bullying jared
Lmaooo them bullying Jared is wild
I don't know
Fair enough:)
The reboot/revival was so lame that the boys only got a cameo.🤦
Such a disappointment that they never truly appear
AHEM! The artwork you used in the thumbnail (the center piece vector) was mine from my DeviantArt account. Some credit to the artists responsible for that (that would be me) would be nice, thank you very much!
Uncredited reposts are not cool.
[EDIT]
Credit was now provided on the thumbnail itself and also in the description.
Oh hi I’m sorry i thought it was an actual screenshot from the show since I’ve seen the shot before. I apologize, that really isn’t cool at all. I should double checked and made sure that I wasn’t taking anybody’s hard work. I’m genuinely sorry for doing that to you, I can change the thumbnail if you want. Or I can add your @ to the thumbnail if that sounds better to you. Sorry again, I’m willing to change it accordingly
@@Childishju Just credit me in the video (in the title, description, or on the thumbnail itself) as the artist of the artwork you used. Though the vector you used does have my name and logo on it, though obscured or cut out.
Sorry if I sounded harsh earlier. I was a victim of art theft and uncredited reposts, multiple times on different websites. As long as you're willing to give me credit and acknowledge that the artwork you used is not yours, then you'll be fine.
Just a little pro tip for you.
I’ve updated the thumbnail to include your @, but I’m willing to remove it completely if that’s what you would prefer. But I genuinely am sorry, you make amazing art! I’ll make sure to properly credit you if ever need be. Thanks for informing me
@@Childishju Much better, thank you.
Just be careful next time.
@@Escarietson there’s no need for you to apologize at all, I took your work and you deserve credit for your incredible art. I got this image from the Picsart sticker section, that’s where I usually look but I’ll need to be more careful going forward. I’m sorry that this isn’t the first time your art has been taken. I’ll link to your deviant art in my bio and next time I use your work I’ll make sure everyone who watches the video knows where to find you! I’ve checked your deviant art and your work is incredible, and deserves to be recognized!
Please 🙏
No,please god no.
Nobody wants your opinion
Lmaooo what did they do to you Mr.bandicoot?
@@Childishju I don’t think they’re popular enough to get a spin-off and I couldn’t see a show around them being more interesting and innovative than the original PPG…it would just be PPG but gender swapped.
I rather them expand on the PPG world like the DC comics did in early 00s.
@@keeferkifflom360 I can appreciate this explanation, I get where you’re coming from. I made a video on those comics a month or so ago, they’re really good
F*** no
