  • SEND BIOTECHNOLOGY PROJECTS WITH IMPACT TO PIETER@WAAG.ORG
Waag’s biohacker Pieter is on a mission to get more support from Europe for do-it-yourself biotechnology. And he needs your support for that! Why? Many people think that technology is a given, and that you have little influence on it. That is not the case at all. Technologies are invented and developed by people: us. Biotechnology is all around us: From the clothes we wear to the medicines we take and the food we eat. But for many people it’s a mysterious industry. And that’s exactly why we started this new serie of vlogs. We want to democratize the knowledge behind this closed industry and #OPENBIOTECH for everyone.

Thanks to those that emailed already. We started collecting relevant articles and other interesting reads in an open reference database in order to keep a bit of an overview. Just keep it coming: www.zotero.org/groups/doing_it_together_science

Great Job, thanks so much for your efforts to produce these videos :) We have a BioLAB of our own that we are about to establish here in Eberswalde right now. Our focus lies on mushroom packaging. Do you have yet any workshops planned this year?
