Hello biohacking Europe! We went to the BioFabbing conference to meet up with biohackers from all over the continent and beyond. The DIY hormone workshop was a must try, we examined microfluidics on the bus and discussed the progress of the policy brief so far. All kindly hosted in the vibrant Idea Square of CERN. In this vlog I finally start writing the policy paper. Luckily I got some help from my biohacker-friends. - I’m still on the mission to get more support from Europe for the do-it-yourself biotechnology. Why? Many people think that technology is a given, and that you have little influence on it. That is not the case at all. Technologies are invented and developed by people: us. Biotechnology is ...

Science museums are great places to satisfy your science cravings. But do they really empower you to do science yourself after your visit? We decided to go and find out at Kopernik Center in Warsaw during a night at their biotech lab with Stanislaw Loboziak. He also got us in touch with Mariusz Pożoga, that started his own plant propagation lab, bridging grass roots science and business.

#OPENBIOTECH VLOG #4: is biohacking big business? Welcome back at a new episode of #OPENBIOTECH. It must be clear by now that I’m lobbying in Europe for the biohacker movement. Most of you might think that I want more support and therefore more EUROS from the European Commission for the DIY biohacking community. That’s not necessarily true. I also want to investigate an alternative scenario: wh...

    turning on a butane torch wont sterile the air in a room or the air near it. in fact the heat will case air currents in your immediate workspace. as the air heats up and rises the sounding cold air comes in to take its place.

    isn't it because of the alcohol in the extract? Please verify it with other extraction methods. Or maybe do it with an alcohol solution side by side and observe if it gives the same result.. that would be a cool video. I'm curious if there is a more conclusive standard procedure in the pharma industry..

    • @realchristopher4334
      @realchristopher4334 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Blimbus-Blombo Hahahah! That is what I thought. Some people said that piece of paper is too small, alcohol evaporates. What they do not consider is in that too small of a chamber is very moist, relative humidity is 100%. Evaporation is extremely slow. Compound with that, there is a mountain of evidence of alcohol evaporates much slower if mixed with water. The alcohol is used is 96% alcohol, I presume it is for laboratory use so the rest of 4% must be water. All his demonstrations are not true-to-life. It is all about the idea rather than the real thing. By 'real thing' I mean his demonstrations assumes everybody already knew what he is demonstrating. Not much explanation the how and why. Which defeats the idea because people watching his demonstrations watch his demonstrations for a reason -- they do not know. There are people who take things literally and wonder why they fail! For example, watch TH-cam making chocolate cookies and follow exactly without tweaking nor considering different variables. I live one person like this! Saying that they are stupid is an understatement. Zero brain cell. Zero common sense. You tell them to jump, they ask you how high.

    This antibiotics is the simplest called Amoxicillin which is good for fungal infection. Know that Amoxicillin is up to 1500 mg and should the individual reach his/her toxication or Induce Level in this Medicine surely there is complications. What is missing is the VIRUS antibiotics called Tetramycitin for Intestinal Bacteria and surgical operation, Collagen for TB and Lungs/Heart Diseases and Penicillin for STD and VD Medicines which is only distributed by Twin Tower Manhattan. The Amoxicillin is high in OH4 which can kill a human by it destroying the Kidney.

    Why doesn’t it melt the lid?

    • @AaronAlso
      @AaronAlso 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      At full pressure most PC's only go to 15psi(103Kpa); that is the same as 250degF. Many plastics such as polypropylene (lid) and polystyrene (petri dishes) have melting points above this tempt and are safe for use in a pressure cooker or autoclave. Additionally, agar is generally a "clean" substrate and doesn't require deep sterilization; usually a lite pasteurizing is sufficient - steam bath in a pasta cooker.
