- The Wimbledon 2024 seedings are set with Sinner, Djokovic and Alcaraz the Top 3 seeds for the men and Swiatek, Gauff and Sabalenka for the ladies. Sinner also won a title this week in Halle and Pegula won over in Berlin.

It will be much more open on women's side with Saba, Rybakina, Jabeur and Vondrosova with injury concerns...On men's side, Sinner and Alcaraz favorites, and Djokovic, of course, if he plays. I doubt it , but we will see this week when he practices

ATP with most weeks in top 2:
1. Rafael Nadal: 596 weeks
2. Novak Djokovic: 591 weeks (At least after Wimbledon 2024 unless he gives a great result so it will still keep counting)
3. Roger Federer: 528 weeks
Actually, such record isn't important cuz Nadal will be called as el segundo while Djokovic el primero based on the most weeks at no. 1. It's still interesting, though. Anyway, Djokovic's current object is to try to win a few titles despite his age no longer supports his stamina. Moreover, Djokovic can no longer become no. 1 cuz it's his turn to defend bunches of points until after ATP Finals 2024 so it should no longer be his own burden when he tries to win titles especially GS

At times, I still can't believe Sinner is the world number one. It is quite understandable why - if you look at his stats (for the last 12 months), he's simply far ahead of everyone by leading in W/L and titles won. I'm so, so happy for him, and I wish he only continues to improve. I remember when people were saying that "the only certain thing in life is Jannik Sinner winning an ATP250 event" 😄 Look at him now! 💪
Hi Cam, for the ranking transitions could you split them up maybe? Like have Alcaraz and Djokovic swapping be a different animation from De Minaur and Hurkacz swapping, so that you can sync both animations with your words.

My predictions for the men's side:
- Sinner wins the tournament - he's had a very good Halle week and Djokovic has injury, and Alcaraz lost to Draper so there'll be a lot on him.
- Alcaraz goes farther than Djokovic bc he's defending champ and just seems like he's the better player atm with form and everything.
- Casper Ruud might be a top 10 upset victim bc iirc I don't think he's played much on grass; if he has he hasn't done very well.
- Either Monfils, Eubanks, or even Cameron Norrie, semifinalist 2 yrs ago might have a good unseeded run.
- Djokovic looks committed to play, but I don't think he'll make it too far (prob out 4th round or QF at best).
I'd love see an Alcaraz / Sinner final at Wimbledon rather than an Alcaraz / Sinner semifinal. I assume with Djokovic potentially participating, it potentially places Alcaraz/Sinner in the same side of the draw? Does anyone know?

It's hard to call if Djokovic would play - we need to wait and see. Same for Murray - he hasn't confirmed anything yet.
Murray is out of Wimby for sure according to reports & with the recovery time period, is almost 90% sure to miss Olympics as well.

It was a discussion Re: the ATP finals summation and Sinner Zverev are much higher than Meddy and Meddy is not even top 4 atm for points in the Race to the Finals

And Meddy is number 5 so in danger of falling out of the top 7 and not going to atp finals completely if he doesn’t perform at Wimbledon and the upcoming hard courts.

Regarding Wimbledon:
Djokovic will play, but neither he, nor Swiatek will make the second week.
Rybakina will pull out before the QF, and Sabalenka will not start at all. Vondrousova will also probably drop out in the early rounds. Jabeur will win the whole thing in spite of injury and immediately take that sabbatical she hinted at last year.
Sinner will win the whole thing. Not gonna even comment on my fave.

Love your summation except Ons. Not sure if her form is on fire. Jess looks awfully strong but I think Iga is ready to win on grass. Strange she didn’t do a warm up thus far.
@@Kreatures100 I went for some more extreme takes. I haven't seen Pegula in Berlin, but yeah, she should never be discounted. Ons is a tricky question - last year she didn't seem to be in form ...until Wimbledon came - then, she played a string of matches out of her skin, beating Rybakina and Sabalenka back to back.
