Because, Alcatraz is young and energetic, he must prefer to play in baseline, for sometime, to bring the opponent tired. Then only he can win easily. Coming to the net frequently in the beginning is not advisable..

I first noticed Sinner when he played Carlos at Wimbledon in 2022. I was very impressed by the way he moved and how he outmanoeuvred Carlos. Everyone was talking about Carlos at that time and I was thinking no this is the guy, he’s the one. Been my no 1 tennis player ever since. A slam was inevitable and very satisfying.

I rarely like a video, but the comprehensive summary made me give one for this video, great job - to tell the truth Sinner's unique circumstance of not going through juniors means maybe we shouldn't have been too harsh I guess in his stagnant periods, but Sinner's game has so much promise that it was hard not to.

Thanks for a the amazing video!! It’s so interesting to see his entire journey. I remember thinking a few years ago about how good this kid was and then came so many loses and I thought one more talent wasted. But he turned it around so well. Absolutely love his game and attitude. What’s more scary is, he still can improve his game. His serve can get better, his slice has a lot of room for improvement and of course those terrible drop shots he plays can get way better. Haha. Imagine what would it be like if all these come together. He would be just unbeatable. Exciting times in tennis finally. Was just tired of seeing Joker acting like tennis god all the time. Hopefully Sinner with Carlos can put an end to that.

I think that Sinner, by the end of 2024, will be ahead of Medvedev and Alcaraz (as long as Alcaraz does NOT win both Roland-Garros and US Open). So that would make him Number 2, if Nole will still be Number 1. If Nole slows down and mainly concentrates on the Olympic Games and will miss many tournaments, that would mean Number 1 for Sinner.
