If I had to choose one thing to love about this sport, it's how much motivation they give eachother. I mean they're taking the piss out of eachother but then as soon as someone is actively lifting, it's all motivation. Saying "Come on." or "Keep going." or "That's it." etc etc. It's easy for people to be selfish or just outright not care, but they do care. They want to push each other because that is the heart of the sport. It doesn't matter if you're a winner if nobody else is competing. They need heavy competition so their victories MEAN something. THAT is why I love this.

but there often only 200lb stacks sometimes 300lb stacks and thats no big deal really, especially if its not even your bodyweight, its no different than a 200lb guy doing straight bar pushdowns with 100lbs than it is for a 400lbs man to do 300lb pushdowns. i think at least.

I play videos like your's and Eddie's off my laptop hooked up to a couple of speakers in my garage/gym. Since I'm nineteen I've been purchasing equipment whenever I had the opportunity. Now I've got a pretty well outfitted hardcore gym. For years I trained in gyms with some seriously serious training partners. Now I'm 60, likely retired from competing in powerlifting, and training by myself. Having you guys, especially with some of your hilariously ridiculous rambling bullshit conversations brings me back to workouts I had with my training partners, one in particular, who were also damned good friends! Thanks for the company!
