Thanks for the great video!! It really helped me, I drive a 1987 Toyota Camry wagon, that light on the climate control has been burnt out for years, I tried to figure out how to remove it. I thought the light bulb was behind the climate control and you pull it out, but after seeing your video I figured it out!! Thanks!!

Nice video thanks. The cold/hot slide control lever on the a/c heater climate control in my '87 4Runner is messed up have you ever removed the climate control assembly and worked on it and if so do you have a video of it? I had the heater control valve on the fire wall of the engine bay replaced but that did not fix it so it must have been the cable but now the control lever is really messed up. Thanks in advance.

Don't have any videos on it. They work like bicycle cables. There should be some clips you can position the cable with. So when you swing the levers in the cab, the heater control valve is not moving?

I bought a E74 lighbulb from Amazon. I couldn't find it at the auto parts stores near me. The 74 bulb needed a lot of pressure to push into the socket. I knew it shouldn't that much pressure. I checked around and found out I needed a E74 bulb. It's a common size for many German and Japanese cars.

If it is mechanically connected, most likely a clip came out. If it is electronic, then you will need to replace parts. An auto parts store, should be able to tell you if it is electronic or not.
