- A mother accused of shooting her two sons inside their Bucks County, Pennsylvania home is now facing first-degree murder charges after the boys died of their injuries, officials say.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office announced the upgraded charges for 38-year-old Trinh Nguyen on Monday.

If she truly loved her children, she would not have taken their lives, two beautiful boys. They could have had great future. These news are always hard to hear and yet we all know this is not the end of senseless horrific acts. RIP two beautiful boys.
No, it doesn't lessen the pain in any way, whether the senseless killings were driven by the human condition aggravated by external forces and/or circumstances. The loss of young, innocent lives at the hands of their parent is particularly horrendous and heartbreaking.

Part of me honestly believed or hoped they would make it, but this just confirms that wasn’t the case. Even though I never knew these boys, my heart goes out to those suffering as a result of this person who was supposed to be a mother.

I just realized something, about how even more cruel this was, about the way she took theirs life, she gruesomely shoot them in the head, and she then gone in front of a church while trying to peacefully end her life by overdosing on drugs.
I think she planned to shoot herself but the gun was taken from her. But yes you’re right. She would’ve gotten to peacefully slip into sleep then death. While the boys fought for their lives in hospital but died.
I don't think she ever planned on committing suicide in the first place.

A mother is suppose to do all she can for her children, especially during a crisis. Given her eviction, she could have sought out some social assistance, refused to move, I mean there are squatters out there that the courts can’t remove from homes, and do everything in her power to put her children well-being first. Instead, she did the ultimate selfish act and ended their lives. Horrific!

I really wish I knew why she fell apart so horribly. How did she end up on drugs? Was she introduced to them by her ex-husband, or was it just her? The news said she was renting from her ex sister-in-law. Did her ex's family drive her to this? Were they abusive? Was she pushed over the edge mentally or is she just a drug addicted psycho with absolutely no self-control? I can't understand how a tragedy this horrible could happen. Why can't someone release a history of the details that led up to this?

There is so much more to this story but the news doesn’t help uncover the truth, they insinuate and speculate while already pushing all the blame on her… who else lived in that house? In the beginning the reporter said it was just them three now there’s a nephew who lives there too.. “in this multi family house” .. do they all live under the same roof? If so, where is the ex husband and why didn’t anyone help those boys from the abuse???

Sadly, this situation is in line with what the Bible foretold about the pervasive attitudes that we would expect to see in what it describes at 2 Timothy 3:1 “But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here”….and in verse 3 says people would have “no natural affection”. Nothing is more unnatural than a woman taking the life of children she gave birth to. It goes against every natural inclination of motherhood which is to protect fiercely and nurture.

Why do you leave so much out of this story? She was a stay at home mom with no income. Her husband left and was suing for custody. He also had his sister, the landlord, evict her. He knew she had no money to defend herself and not only evicted her but their kids too. Men have been doing this to women since the beginning of time. My divorce and custody dispute was the worst time of my life and people do not care. When what you live for is being taken from you you're not in your right mind. Of course there's no excuse for what she did but there were horrible things that pushed her in that direction. Had he made sure her and the kids were setup and ok his kids would probably still be here. You don't know what your spouse is capable of and how cruel they can be until you're going through a divorce with them.
