- I was trying to explain to my cousin how to make these with leftover mashed potatoes. I decided to just make a video to show her. Pam taught me how to make these.

Looks delicious 😋
Nothing wrong with a good simple recipe! Looks delicious
I have 4 teenagers at my house so they would love this. Thank you for sharing and please don’t be embarrassed as people cannot afford much these days so this would be fabulous to feed my family.
So easy, right? What else do you do with leftover mashed potatoes?

I thought sourkraut on the potatoes, 😅❤ thanks for the ideal!! We have a pot luck at church once month for seniors, good ideal.

Great sharing My friend have a nice weekend ❤❤❤
Thank you! You too!
Looks great thank you
Thank YOU!
This would certainly be a kid pleaser and so economical.
Agreed!
My mother made them in the 80s. She used paprika instead of cheese. And sliced the dogs open.
That’s awesome! I hope this brought back a memory for you.
Your amazing. Looks yummy.😊
Thank you 😋
Love it! A must try! Thank u!💜
You bet! Easy Peasy!
I tried it! Easy and delicious!💜👍
@@mariannecarey2358 Right!??? Thanks for commenting!
Yummy
Kids will love them. Momma made these called them weiner boats. Only she would cut the weiner down length wise and fill with goodies. When my kids were growing up and found myself with a house full this was easy filling and they enjoyed. Even asked for them at times. I still cook and enjoy .
I KNEW there had to be someone who had made these!! Yes!
Yum
Looks good!😅
❤❤❤❤❤
Comment for the algorithm. 😊
I prefer bun-length all-beef hot dogs too! 🌭
Sacramento, California USA 🇺🇸
I love it!! Thank you!!
Something not really stated here. Make sure you use foil on your baking sheet. If you don't, the meat will destroy your pan. The foil isn't just easier cleanup.
If you don't care for hotdogs, you could use hot links, sausage, and even leftover steak cut into strips. Chicken breast tenders would be a perfect size, too.
This video has to be one of the most basic, versatile recipes utilizing leftovers that I've seen yet. ❤❤❤❤
What sweet suggestions! Hotlinks!
My m-i-l made these by splitting hot dogs down the middle, putting chopped onions, and a strip of mustard on the onions then the mashed potatoes .
I LOVE onions! Why didn’t I think of this?? Thank your MIL for me!! She’s a smart cookie!
potato? thats interesting
Who would’ve thunk it?
Caucasian people? Really?
Yes. Really… we ate beans and rice every day. This would not be on our menu.
@@dazed-n-confused6439 I put the hotdogs in the oven for a little bit to cook for a bit. There is enough fat in the hotdogs to keep, them from burning. 350 degrees kept mine from overcooking… good luck! Oh! Yes… you can use a foil pan.
Yes, Caucasian people have some traditional and stereotypical food, if you don't think there are regional, cultural and traditional differences in the type of foods different kinds of people eat, then you're just being self delusional.
It's no different than a Mexican or Asian family using their traditional leftovers to make a distinct dish or someone from the south, or someone that eats a lot of soul food.
Differences are just differences, and it is okay to recognize them.
The pigment challenged? Better?
Wash your hands ✋️ 😂😮😅
Always… and constant! And I have a damp bar mop to keep my fingers clean. Trust me… I may not show it, but my hands are clean.
