Great call. Same here loved it on Driveclub, I even managed to beat one or two times I got with hyper cars. I am about to buy it on GT7 along with another I loved on Driveclub, the Pagani Zonda R. Both have everything you want.👍

I know there are some "R8" comments down here, but I just want to say how much I had hoped that the 2nd gen R8 would have looked something like this Renault. It seems to have all the good aspects of the original R8, and then improved on everything else! And what a machine

There is. On the road at the dealers in late 2016 for aprx. € 350.000.- :-) meaning that nobody will buy! For this kind of money you buy a Aventador or whatever....but not a Renault. A V8 natural aspired engine with 9.500 rpm would have been much better than this boring Nissan V6 Turbo. Great performance but very poor and boring appearance

Driving this car in project cars 2 feels like cheating. So powerfull, stable and the brakes...
I stay on the right with the Driver,, Francesc Guttierez" on 4 laps, perfect car, traction, power everything is perfect on this car

Am just realizing now what it resembles though, an R8 on steroids.
I drove this car in Assetto Corsa on Nordschleife right now. And the only reason i am here watching this video is because i had same reaction on the driving skill of the car that i had to google it up and this dude comment everything that i did on that Nordschleife lap. I mean this car is Monster. The traction and speed out of the corner is great and the breaking is unbeliaveble but the best is the grip. I literally was going too fast to the corner entry and thought i would crash but then i turn the steering wheel and it just turns in and i dont know how but the car is unbelievable

Looks like Renault with an 2016 NSX nose and a R8 body, however the paint work/graphics reminds me of a Nascar with sorta fake graphics.

If Renault want to go GT3 racing with this then we may just as well see a road version of this thing, that would be cool. In any case details of it's current performance hints it's just a little too fast...Almost GT1 fast maybe.

actually OP in the crew 2 lmao. was struggling all day to get better than 3:15 on a track. 2 runs with that car i was able to get 2:58.

+Nino Schier Alpine is a name that now only speaks to a few enthusiasts. They'd have to rebuild its image from the ground up in order for the general public to grow interest for it. But what level of performance and what price range would be ideal for new Alpine sports cars to penetrate the market ? That's the big question.
