      for this example it's easeir to obtain characteristic equation of 2nd order and then use easy Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion. I found this one stable? because all coefficients are positive. Am i right?

    Hello mam, i didnt get the point of why we calculate the magnitudes... while we plotting we didnt check the magnitude values on w values at all. For example w=1 angle is -72 and magnitude is 16. But while you plotting w=1's magnitude is like 7 or 8. I didnt get that. Can you explain this ? Best regards.

      W=1 gives an irrational magnitude, definitely not 50. Not sure about the angle,I'd use a calculator myself

      I think it's just physical error, because it's just a rough plot. So, it must be at that value only, but while drawing roughly, it didn't come to be the exact value.

    i have a doubt, that in considering magnitude of (1+jw) * (2+jw), i think we need to expand it and then take magnitude.
    you had directly taken it as sqrt ( (1+w^2)*(4+w^2) ). But if we expand it and simplify and then consider the magnitude im getting sqrt(w^4 + 2*w^2+4). so, both expressions aren't same. can anyone help me..?

      We know that multiplication and division are easy in polar form rathaer than cartesian form.
      hence first we convert from cartesian form to polar form i.e a+ib as sqrt(a^2+b^2)At angle of Itan(b/a) then we know product of 2 complex numbers in ploar form :magnitude will be multiplied & angles will be added.

      as what I understood.. the direction or the side is decided by the phase angle not magnitude

      1+G(s)H(s) =0 so, G(s)H(s)=-1. We make the Contour for G(s)H(s) and check the number of encirclements at -1.

    The end of your video about stability is just totaly incorrect. You can apply those rules Z=N+P only in the G(s)H(s) plane (Nyquist plot from the Nyquist contour). But you have computed your diagramm in the s-plane... In this case, the stability depends of where is -1 in function of the sens of the curve.
