I don't know if @kellyblaxton3189 is talking about the same person, but I've found a videoog this singer, and she redirected me to a video of a doctor that has the following solution for coughing: stop coughing.😮 The point is that if you don't allow the throat to have some relief, the cough will cause cough because it irritates the throat. The procedure is: every time you feel the need to cough, don't do it. Dedicate some windows of time to just do the exercise, concentrate and drink when necessary. Do whatever it take to don't cough, and drink. Also, carry with you water, all the time. I've combined this technique with another tip from another doctor: prepare some hot water, put honey and ginger in it, wait till it reaches room temperature, and enjoy the benefits of something that has the same effects of medical syrups. I hope this helps you. I'll try to find the video I've mentioned. Good luck!
I’ve been coughing daily for 28 years, and my cough involves constant, substantial mucus and congestion. (My cough began a couple of months after a serious bout of shingles on my face.) Can neuropathic sensory cough involve mucus production, or is the cough always dry? No medication has worked yet other than a bit of short term relief from gabapentin - but it also slightly numbs my senses for a while, which I don’t like. I also don’t want to be taking it so often. It has severely impacted my personal life, and I retired early from my corporate job due to the impact. There must be some explanation…but what?
I've had it for about 15 years. Doctor has given meds that don't really work. I can't sleep through the night as the mucus builds up, blocks my airways then wake up choking on it. It makes you tired, fatigued and moody. Its also dirty. I have to spit out the mucus constantly, I go for walks so I can spit it out on the grass. People and animals walk through it not knowing. Glad I don't have animals. I get about 4 or 6 good breaths before the mucus has built up and have to expel, so I get rid of alot of mucus on a 50 minute walk. If anyone has an elixir, there's alot us would love to try it.
I have so much thick mucus in my mouth when I cough because of the constant coughing and the tickling in my throat I'm constantly throwing it up three or four times a day
I don't think this is me because i actually produce mucous and lots of it. If I try to hold the cough in, mucous builds up in my throat and turns into a productive, throat clearing sneeze.

Not if I’m experiencing allergies.. but lately at night I’m experiencing like a really stuffy nose it’s not runny or anything it’s just so stuffy I can feel it. And my throat feels itchy like a tickle and I’m having a lot of mucus causing me to clear my throat so many times it’s kinda annoying😭 but it’s mainly like a tickle and it won’t go away for like 20 mins at least..

And it’s not about feeling mucus and wanting to clear it - it’s an actual tickle/itch that automatically makes me cough and then leads to an awful steamrolling effect. Just give us a solution to the “tickle cough”.
@@communism_sucks I learned just over a day ago that if I make weird noises in my throat, it kills the tickle. Like old man sound “heh, heh, heh” or other gutteral grumblings.
