a great restoration...technically executed. The crystal issue resolved..and Im sure Richard would be estatic over the work. I know I would. Everything cleaned up superbly..IMO.. Great job..!
My father was a woodworking craftsman, and I fully appreciate what Peter just did. Peter took a watch that was butchered by the last watch repair person and restored it to almost new condition. Well done Peter!
@@dannysimenauer5745 appreciate it!! Thank you, I wish I could do more for this piece unfortunately limited tooling won’t allow me to re “bark” it but overall happy with the outcome!
My grandfather was a watchmaker from the Schwarzwald in Germany who came to the US almost 100 years ago. Peter- you do him proud by carrying on a great tradition.
Peter, I’m so glad that you struck out on your own! Great job on this watch and I truly enjoy watching your videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
I can never get enough of gold Rolex´s, much better than the usual suspect steel Rolex watches here on TH-cam! This really is a rare beast and is stunning, thank you Peter.
I find listening and watching you to be very soothing, your work is beautiful! This watch is a real stunner. I remember seeing you back in your Luxury Bazaar days.Your energy evokes honesty and a true love for your craft as well as the hustle to be successful.Good Luck, I'll keep watching.
Peter, I've been watching some of the restoration videos lately and I can tell you that you have the best editing. Videos are not too long, carefully curated for each section. You even now gave me a reason to suspect why one of my fully serviced watches came with much harder winding than prior to me giving it to a watchmaker. And the watchmaker was the official representative of the brand!
Thank you very much! And it’s possible somethings were over lubricated or someone added where it shouldn’t be. 90% of the time if a watchmaker is taking a movement apart they will clean everything properly. Only if they aren’t actually servicing a watch will they just re oil and send it on its way
Just got into watches. I don't even own one but I'm stuck in so these videos. It's awesome and the skill with craftsmanship is remarkable. Bro, you need to do more of these. Narration was great too.
AMZWATCH is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!
Imma tell u the truth my guy, Ive shown non new yorkers your accent as a definitive reference, mine is not as thick as yours so I only sound like you in heated moments. Love the videos, I'm a collector of magic the gathering cards and try to take aspects of your hustle+customer satisfaction into my card trading, feels good when an "everyone wins" scenario I helped crafted pans out.
Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the AMZWATCH, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Peter, big fan! I’m on the hunt for a coke Rolex 16710 on ch24, but I keep worrying about swapped bezels between Pepsi and Coke since they both have the same reference number, Any tips on how to spot them more easily?
I have a super mint Pepsi incoming box papers etc will be 12k As for the inserts no real way to know unless it’s printed on the tag or papers as long as it’s a factory insert it doesn’t matter in my eyes I swap my inserts all the time on my personal 16710
Excellent work and a pleasure to watch, you just made my breakfast. One question though, at 19:08 it looks like some Rodico got on the crown stem, or is that lube?
I used to own a 18078, but with a silver dial and the President bracelet. In my opinion, that bracelet is what a Day-Date should have on it. When the light hit the barked bracelet links at just the right angle, it would look like it was on fire. No diamonds on the dial for sure. This particular model has the quick-set function for the date only.
As a watch enthusiast with NO budget, thank you MAMACOO for great-looking mechanical watches that I can afford! their are very clean, classy look, $150 each. I still watch videos about expensive “proper” watches, but I enjoy what I have
Another great restore from Peter, thanks for the video as always much appreciated edit man those baguette diamond markers really don't look good on that watch and they look poorly done.
@@Peterpic funny you should say that I find the dial difficult to see and boring, I have an after market pink dial but would like a lapis dial if you know where I can find one for 1803 - all the best
Probably , imo, there is a background frequency and microvibrations, microwaves coming out of the underground, or from neighboring building houses, at the place where that watch owner lives, which thicken body fluids, dry up human bodies, destroying plastic items, parts, dry lubricants in the watches, and other luxury items, may even losen screws.
Where do you think a gram of gold goes😂 second there’s no way a gram even came off of this there was almost zero actual polishing mainly brushing I can guarantee there’s not a gram in the buffs of satin wheels
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

Correct is will however it’s in the clasp portion won’t really do any damage
