  • Hey everyone, in this episode I’m painting again. But before I could do that, all the interior had to be removed, sanded, glued and undercoated. I use a roller to apply the paint which was pretty good, although in my next van I’m going to see what spraying it on will look. Hope you like the final look and in the next few episodes you’ll see it all back in the van.

interesting choice of interior colour. but nice to see progress. my favourite is the ceiling. I used to fit teak decking many years ago amongst other carpentry on yachts etc, and looks similar, your black becomes the corking. nice work ....

I didn’t have a clue what colour scheme to go for 😂 ended up saving loads of interior pics I liked and went with the scheme that had the most pics. It was probably inevitable though as my fave colour is ‘black’. Ah thanks, hopefully it should be fitted in the next video or the one after. Just waiting on some wiring to turn up for the spots etc.

Looking good buddy disappointed there's no "watching paint dry" jokes or "once you've gone black" ones 😂😮😂

Is there a reason why you didn’t spray them, considering you took them out of the van

A couple of reasons. I wanted to start off with rollering so that I could do my next van better with spraying. Plus I didn’t fancy spraying the wood that was left in the van because I’d have to mask off absolutely everything in the van. Didn’t want to take it out because I wasn’t confident enough that it would go back in again lol because it’s my first time making cabinets etc. And if I sprayed what came out and rollered what stayed in then I don’t think they would match. Rubbish excuses but yeah the next van will be sprayed.
