I am a 3rd year student studying toward Bachelor degree in Finance Management in of Namibian University and I have been following my respective Prof. Lumumba. I wish I can meet with him face to face to drink a lot from his wisdom. I am glad to follow a man like this. To the journalist, may God bless you and to my respective Prof., keep injecting knowledge and wisdom in us. I have learned a lot from you. Maybe when you are coming to Namibia again, please I want to join the conversation where you will be the invited guest. You are real a great man in Africa.

Professor you keep speaking the truth at all times but I always wonder if the leaders of the African countries are hearing you and willing to solve the problems that affect the African people

Thank you prof. For the great insight.Young people are thirsty for prosperity, they wish for a better society .I wish not to blame anyone according to the Chinese proverb ,it is a nice one but sometimes I wonder which material our leaders are made of,not even the political leaders but even leaders in our societies, they are not willing to mentor our youths, they are in position but greedy.our youths lack jobs and even the innovative ones can't express their innovation because some negative forces are seated up there and they can't let them.I am glad we still have little leaders with good hearts and who can help the youths ,a millennium is a long time but thanks you we never say die.

You inspire me to be a good leader as servant but not a ruler... Now history in me is at standard.

Prof. PLO Lumumba! Your explanations describes the demi god we have in Uganda, which I also don't call him his excellence rather a blood sacker!!

As delighted as I am by Prof. Lumumba's speeches, I must disagree with his oft-repeated prognosis that Africa is mostly suffering from bad leadership. On the contrary, our leaders are the perfect mirror reflection of who we are. In fact, they are the very best of us! Given half a chance, many of us would probably be scrambling onto boats to go to Europe -- to be maids or shamba boys. Why? I believe because many of us have bought into our own inferiority and aspire to little more beyond a square meal. So what may save us? Imagine a leader who may inspire us to be more than our mediocre selves. Imagine an African leader who can point to the stars and, like Kennedy, tell us that "We choose to go to the moon and do the other things; not because they are easy, but because they are hard!"

Leadership ? I understand exactly what you mean but I think we must call it exactly what it is…Misleadership !

@@lugaritzbrown2250 I pull no punches when it comes to the truth of Black African liberation. All those who misappropriate government funds should have everything confiscated from them and their immediate family and they and their family should all be put to work sweeping the capital’s streets so one and all can see what happens when you are found to be corrupt !

If indeed the problem of the African continent is leadership (not sure if we should be obsessed with problems at a continental level) why does the prof push for a united Africa? Would it not be easier to corrupt a single government than many governments? There might be strength in our natural diversity than in unity.
