Klopp is a genius. it's such a hard working, simple yet requires a lot of focus and concentration positioning wise. the covering tactic you mentioned allows the first defender to be more aggressive, hence why a lot of teams reported being blown away by our press. its actually really a numbers game. simple as that. but klopp is a genius

That's why Naby Keita and Virgil Van dijk are suitable for us. With naby keita we have a strong, energetic, and mobile midfield. He will cover up most our play, both in attack and defense. And Virgil Van dijk with his strong aerial duel ability will provide us safe defense, whenever the opposed team used long ball strategy. However, I think gegenpressing strategy needs a lot of depth squad, because it will drain much stamina. Moreover, if we played in many tournaments (EPL, EFL, UCL, FA). #YNWA

hello i suggest you to take your attention at the Russian Premier League champion 2016/2017 season - Spartak Moscow. They had a great Italian coach and showing a brilliant play style
The issue with this pressing technique is that our defence is literally exposed everytime we press and the opposition play out of the press. Liverpool do not have world class centrebacks so our press isn't being done to the best of its ability which is punishing us. We've conceded 42 goals this season (the highest out of top 6) and our poor defence is arguably what cost us to give up the title race back in January. Hopefully we bring in some top class defenders in the summer
As a Liverpool fan, our play has been incredibly frustrating this year. We create all these exciting shapes, but what's the use if we're not going to pass it crisp and decisive? 90th minute, we need a goal, but still, mignolet is passing to matip who's passing to lovren trying to build from the back. Creating chances is non existent against teams who play ultra defensive football. We need to attack with more urgency and definitely be more direct. Defensively, as you said, the opponent has an advantage in midfield due to our 4-3-3 formation. Most goals we conceded have been due to individual mistakes and ridiculous defending from set pieces. However, what's been more annoying is klopp's alarming reluctance to make changes. Every single game but 2, we've played the 4-3-3, and even when it's not working, we stick with it till the 80th minute, when it's too late to make changes or the opponent is already 2 goals up. Maybe it's a just problem of personnel. Next season will be make or break for klopp and Liverpool. I believe that klopp won't win us the league because of his stubbornness, tactically and in man management. Still, I think he may win us a cup or 2 in the coming years.
The beauty of football is that there are many ways to play it and win but this total football approach, in my humble opinion, doesn't get you very far. I prefer specialists who are experts in their position. This German approach requires players who are jack of all trades, and there aren't many of those.
Great video, but Liverpool mainly play a midfield of Lallana - Henderson and Wjilandum not Can, Wijilandum and Lucas. Also, Liverpool mainly play a front three of Coutinho, Firmino and Mane, not Origi, Coutinho, Firmino. Other than that, good video.

Other videos were very educational, but I think that this one is not. You took only recent matches where Liverpool was not as effective as usually because of injuries ( Mane, Lallana , Henderson). I watched both games (against Crystal Palace and Saints), Liverpool had a lot of possesion, but was not good in creating chances. Far too many passes were horizontal. When Henderson was in first eleven, he didn't drop so deep between centerbacks. Sorry, if I was very critical:) Other videos were great, I am looking forward to watch new ones. P.S. Could you please change the music? In all videos always the same one.
