That's the very reason an increasing amount of people are turning into a plant based diet. All you have to do is to watch the undercover footage from pets and animals equality to see that value or not, farm animals are abused too.
I learned recently while exploring a gory subject of a woman killing a companion cat and eating it, that in Canada since pets are property it is legal to eat them as long as killed humanely. Thus leads to why the farmer gets away with it in most if not all countries pets or working dogs are considered property with few rights. Authorities turn a blind eye to abuse and neglect. I was astounded by that law in my country, now I'm wondering if ppl are killing their pets and eating them. Ugh.
Thank you, Dr Scott for featuring Bob’s story and Adam’s amazing patience in working to overcome Bob’s terror. I had happy tears watching this video and it was a true metamorphosis to see the light come into his eyes, the huge smile and his tail wagging. Why isn’t this farmer in jail? He certainly shouldn’t be allowed to keep dogs or any animal for goodness sake. What must have been done to this poor dog to cause this kind of trauma? Thank you to all involved in his rescue.
I rescued my first Border Collie, Jake, from a ranch. He was 7 and had a tough life as a cow dog. He'd had his skull cracked, his nose broken a couple of times, half his teeth had either been kicked out or broken by cows and he'd been scalped in a dog fight. The rancher's wife had sewn his scalp back on with needle and thread. Jake had never been to the vet because the ranch was a day's drive to the nearest town and they couldn't afford a vet anyway. While I was at the ranch, Jake got in a fight with the main cow dog and the rancher was going to shoot him. I took him home! His mouth was horribly infected and had to have half his teeth pulled. When he was 10 he got cancer but he beat it. Jake passed, in his sleep, when he was 15. He was such a sweet, gentle boy and I was blessed to have had 8 years with him. He deserved those 8 years of living peacefully and being loved💕 I'm so glad Bob was saved from a horrible, abusive life😊
What a great story! Thank you. I've rescued three seriously abused dogs, one a pit bull who appeared so aggressive with fear, it took several years but he grew to love everyone. I also adopted two wild horses and did what this guy is describing, just went about cleaning their pen ignoring them so they could see I meant no harm. Eventually both became loving trail horses, one even helped young girls learn to ride.
@@gointothedogs4634 Rescues may take a little extra work but once you break through to them, they're SO loyal and loving💕 They KNOW what you've done for them and are SO appreciative. I rescued a pitbull(around 1 year old) in 2004. I was at work and saw him in the middle of a 4 lane road, frozen in fear, with cars honking at him. I ran into traffic, in 4 inch heels👠😜 and somehow picked him up and ran back through the traffic. He never completely got over his fear aggression but was the biggest snuggle-bunny with the few people he loved. I had 8 wonderful years with him, also, until he got a rare form of anemia and didn't respond to medication and blood transfusions. When we finally had to make the horrible decision to have him put to sleep, they brought a gurney out to the car to wheel him into the vet's and, bless his little heart, he managed to growl at the strangers that were touching him. Bless you for rescuing and loving these sweet souls🙏🏻
A HUGE shout out to the man who bought Bob to get him away from that cruel man. What a gem of a human being. I hope he got to see Bob before he was adopted to see how far he'd come and that he saved a really sweet soul.
It angers me to the core when animals are abused. They never asked for an abusive owner. I have always believed that the abusive owner should have the same thing done to them. Maybe if more of that would happen then the number of abuse cases would decrease. Thank you for taking care and loving Bob. He is now living his best life.❤️🐕❤️

I don’t understand why it is so hard for person who doesn’t want a dog or can’t take care of it to just give it away to a rescue group? Why be cruel and torture another living creature? Thank you for caring for these lovely animals who deserve love and caring
To the guy who rescued Bob thank you for your courage to help him take his first steps to freedom. To Adam who worked with Bob until he could cope with social pressure. Thank you man, youre wonderful. You all made my day
It reminds my of my sweet girl Emma. She was a Jack Russell and was abused and neglected for 2 1/2 years. It took us 3 years to gain a little trust from her. The frozen body and the terrified eyes of Bob remind me a lot of Emma - she looked exactly as terrified as Bob. At this time we also had our sweet girl Gessy, who was a rescue too, but never had made a bad experience, we got her when she was 4 months old. She was friendly, layed-back and just a wonderful soul-dog (as we say in Germany). Gessy helped Emma a lot to get used to our routines and Gessy helped us a lot to gain Emma ´s trust. When we gained Emma ´s trust she was the funniest dog you could ever imagine, she was our “little Clown” - but it was hard work and a lot of tears on my side. We had Emma with us for 10 years and it took her around 6 or 7 years to not be terrified of a leash anymore and not to pee when put on a leash. Unfortunately, 2 years ago she developed dementia and slowly decreased. It was a heartbreak for us, but we do know that we made up for all of the neglect she suffered and we gave her the best life possible. Unfortunately 5 months ago we had to put Gessy and Emma down, on the same day. Emma, because her dementia increased too much, she had no quality of life anymore and Gessy, because she had a gastric tumor. Gessy was 15 years old and Emma was 13 years old. These two girls were the loves of my life and I miss them every single day. I will never understand how people can do those things to animals, it is beyond me. May those people suffer in hell 🐾🐾

You go Bob! Can't call him "Poor Bob" now. Happy Bob. Loving Bob. Lucky Bob is loved the way he should have been from the day he was born. Have a good life Bob.
I'm so happy for Bob that he can finally feel safe and loved. My current dog was a breeder dog and lived 5 years in a kennel with a no socialization. After having a few litters of pups she was dumped into a rescue, which is how I got her. It took over two years of calm, consistent treatment before I saw her first tail wag. It still is a rare occurrence but always heartwarming when I see it. We are at the three year mark now and she will still occasionally flinch if I reach to pet her. She cannot bring herself to sit next to me and will run if I move too quickly. She also crates herself throughout the day when she feels overwhelmed. It is truly heartbreaking to look at her dear little face and think about what her life must have been like to create such fear. My trainer has told me that she might never be fully normal, but she's made some progress, so I will never give up. Every person who mistreats animals should be forced to endure the same treatment they dished out.
Thank you Adam for your patience & love you gave to Bob! No animal should ever be abused! So thankful for rescue centers! Enjoy your forever life Bob❣️You’re so beautiful & loved❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾
Takis, the animal rescuer on Crete, has had several dogs like this and they eventually came around. One took longer than the other, but with time and patience, they came around. It's truly heartbreaking to see these poor tortured creatures.
The beauty of a dog is they were created to bring joy so everyday is a new day. They live in the present moment. Love with time can heal trauma, thank you for your love ❤
This is such a heartwarming story! I wish I could replace the mattress and everything else in the room where Bob was originally kept after that man paid to take Bob away from the hell where he lived. Thanks to that man who saw the abuse and did something about it, he was brought to Adam who had the patience of a Saint and completely showed this poor abused animal that life can be good. The abuser of animals often abuse children, women and even the elderly, I wonder if there is any other kind of abuse happening on that farm where Bob was discovered. I hope Bob's new family will give him the love and forever home he so desperately deserves.
Thank u for this wonderful story of Bob. Why wasn't the owner held to account for the abuse? People who abuse dogs, cats etc must be held to account or this will NEVER stop.
My guess would be that there aren't laws in place to prosecute. I would appreciate learning more about that, especially in a place like Britain because I thought they had very strict animal protection laws. Maybe farm dogs are different? The rescuer noted they even had to pay for Bob. Could Rescue Vet teach us more, please?
Poor dog, and so he doesn't deserve what he had to endeavor. 😢😂❤ I'm glad Bob found the better side of being loved and being a dog, too. Way to go, Bob, and a big thank you to the person who helped him.
I hope that whoever was so cruel to this dog was prosecuted for animal cruelty. A farmer? Hmmmm makes you wonder how he treated other animals in his care. But thank goodness for the guy who rescued Bob, so glad he’s now living a happy life. So sad to see him so broken 😢

My trainer has told me that she might never be fully normal, but she's made some progress, so I will never give up. Every person who mistreats animals should be forced to endure the same treatment they dished out.
An amazing outcome for a beautiful Soul 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Adam for your patience & love you gave to Bob! No animal should ever be abused! So thankful for rescue centers! Enjoy your forever life Bob❣️You’re so beautiful & loved❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾
You’re an amazing bloke, good job mate and good job Bob 👍👍👍😃
Don't worry gentle pets, treats and comfortable bed will make the puppy feel loved, cared, and above full of joy.....
The farmer should not have been paid. He should have been arrested.
He's finally free.
Takis, the animal rescuer on Crete, has had several dogs like this and they eventually came around. One took longer than the other, but with time and patience, they came around. It's truly heartbreaking to see these poor tortured creatures.
So disgusting the way some people treat animals, thank you for the hours put in to help this lovely boy 😊
The beauty of a dog is they were created to bring joy so everyday is a new day. They live in the present moment. Love with time can heal trauma, thank you for your love ❤
This is amazing, what a good deed in a weary world, super dog, am so glad he's loving life now.
I think even with farm animals they are protected by law maybe no one reported the abusive farmer god help any animal on his farm@@nariu7times328
Any poor innocent animals for that matter
I just so happy this cute puppy ps: i know he is not a baby anymore is happy and safe no more fears
@@nariu7times328 well that’s weird because there were rules in Australia about prosecution
Poor dog, and so he doesn't deserve what he had to endeavor. 😢😂❤ I'm glad Bob found the better side of being loved and being a dog, too. Way to go, Bob, and a big thank you to the person who helped him.
Thank you for all the help and support for this beautiful dog ❤
May the demons reach out and drag animal abusers to the pits of thier world !! Thank you for rescuing Bob 😊
Can’t believe God lets innocent creatures be harmed
@@lilij1915...God doesn't do it. People do.
It's so good he's out of the evil clutches, and happy again, thanks to the healer 😊
How wonderful that Bob has found a happy furever home.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 GOD BLESS YOU FOR RESCUE THE DOG AND EVERYONE TO HELP 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
these animals need time and attention to be loved bring around others dogs or animals
What an amazing turn around for another beautiful fur baby.
I'm so happy for Bob and his new life, thank you all!
Thank you to everyone involved with Sweet Bob's rescue. Bob deserves all the good things in life.
I can’t hold my tears back. You’re a remarkable person for your patience and loving care. Thank you so much for this heartwarming story.😂❤
It's amazing how much it helps to have another dog involved in their recovery. It's like the happy dog vouches for these humans and this place, so the scared dog can believe. 🥰
Well done tp ypu and much öove ande admiration to you❤❤❤❤❤
💔❤️⭐️🇨🇦 I have so many expletives that I want to spit out but, I’ve done it already where you can’t hear me. Tytytyty to that man who initially rescued him and gave him shelter from the abuse and tytytyty to his second rescuer who gave him back his heart and soul and tytytyty Dr Scott for sharing Bob with us and shining light on those who do the hardest work, yourself included. Many hugs gentlemen 👍

We have a BC. She is a beauty! I can't imagine this poor boy being so neglected and hurt...the owner should be chained by the legs and see how he copes. No mercy for the merciless. So happy you got him out. Thankyou!

I’m going to go hug my BC now. I’m glad sweet Bob got a second chance.
What a lovley person. You can see that everything he dose for the dog is heartfeelt what a joy to watch. Sending all my love and blessings. Thanks for doing a great job. ❤❤❤❤❤
I totally agree farmers aren’t keeping dogs as pets
They get tied up and work
Some say they love their dog on face value, true is far from it, they there to make money not running an animal sanctuary
Thank you for your kind heart ❤❤
Way to go beautiful boy Bob I’m so happy you are with your forever loving family now ♥️♥️
Bob's story teaches us that we need to have compassion and proper caring for all animals, and that there is really no place for neglect or abuse in our world anymore. It was never acceptable, not before this and especially not now or going forward. Blessings to Dr Scott for sharing sweet Bob's story, and especially to K999Adam for the love and care he puts into his practice. Dogs live in the now, so I'm quite happy that Bob will be able now to live his best life! Cheers!
A happy beginning for Bob. God bless you.
