I told him to talk or burn and Astarion was like "You heard them." Probably shouldn't haven chosen that option, but my Tav's little smirk when she saw her man being aggressive, I couldn't help it lol

So this is the scene! I had the blood of Lathander equipped and walked too close and they just vaporized from the weapon's sunlight. Cool interaction, but I spent the next twenty minutes exploring that room trying to figure out why they were there lol

I thought the blood just blinded?
@@shh532 It blinds undead, but it also radiates 'sun light' so I think it just vaporized them for story interaction purposes, HOWEVER, later on when you get ganked by his siblings during camp/long rest at the tavern, the mechanics go back to they are just blinded, I even tried using a sun beam on them during combat and it just did typical damage - no special blood poof
Do they go back if you scare them off?
@@gabrielarodriguez6568 I am not sure - I did a long rest at some point and stumbled my way back there and didn't see them again. I do remember Astarion making a comment when they blood misted TM like oh I am not the only one with neat tricks or something along those lines and I think there was a journal entry notification - it happened so fast and I only realized what happened when I saw this video.
I felt that quick save. This is the part where you gotta start saving him from himself. He gets a little manipulative, and a lot scared and thinks this is what he wants.
Damn man... this is the moment in the relationship where he goes from starting to make progress with you prior to his family meet-up... to being blinded a bit too much by the greedy option of power... and man each option has such deliciously messed up responses to you to make you second guess yourself.

Same happened to me. Perhaps you carried a weapon with the 'light' qualities and you "killed" them
i wonder why they have shark teeth and glowy eyes
@@xneytri The glowing eyes are form being under Cazador's yoke.
*Spoiler*
If you talk Astarion out of doing ritual and free them their eyes stop glowing as Cazador is dead.

How come these guys aren’t in the second floor when I go in? Is there something I’ve done wrong?
Probably have blood of lathander weapon equipped or any daylight spells. They are sensitive to that and will teleport as a mist.Z
Don't cast daylight before confronting Cazador or you will miss confrontation scene
