Talking about mileage on the Vaquero, 30mpg is horrible. I'm averaging 48mpg on my Goldwing DCT non tour and my son gets over 40mpg on the Triumph Rocket 3 GT. The FJR looks like a nice bike. Seat is a little too tall for me though.

It is a tall seat. It has two positions, high and low. I had to move it to the high position because the low position angles the seat too steeply to the front. Very uncomfortable. High seat is basically balls of both feet or one foot flat on the ground. However, I just received a new Top Sellerie comfort seat for the FJR. It looks great! Raining today but I'll be riding and reviewing it soon. Thanks!

In the end the Vaquero actually averaged 40 mpg which is certainly better than 30!

    Triumph Tiger here
The wind buffeting is VIOLENT at 70mph+
I'm at my wits end trying to find a way to reduce it
I have a TOUR windscreen on order, and if that does not fix it, I am selling the bike 😢😢
    Im only 5ft 11in
I wish I had known about this horrible buffeting prior to purchase

Seeing that clamp all the time would possibly me off.

Your eyes do adjust pretty quickly. Soon you don’t notice it. For me it’s that trade off between having that thing there or dealing with the extra noise, cold and buffeting without it.

102 MPH on a single lane divided tight road like that.
You’re not very smart, or you don’t card to live long if you don’t like your life.
It’s not like there are zero cars coming from the opposite direction, I see a few.
    Something is off.
