They should add an upgrade station for the Mann so they can make it easier to have a balanced fight against the bots
I'd personally love to see a few balance tweaks, like crits maybe doing more damage, an upgrade station, bots not being able to see stickies would be a good one, the bots maybe have less health/less healing, the list goes on. This is a great idea, but could always use balancing.

There was a playtest for that once. As far as i can remember, there were a lot of issues with credits saving after death and buffs actually working. Plus there are no small robots to give you a stable stream of credits yet

In some maps the robots get absolutely destroyed and in others they are pretty strong if the enemy team doesn't coordinate well

GPS said that eventually there are going to be players and robots on both sides. You will be able to earn points during the game and buy robot slots for them, so i can definetly see some titanfall-like gameplay in the future

When the Titanfall 2 community fell, another TF2 comunity rose to it's aid
Uncle Dane, the evolved engineer robot, now it has 500 different strategies that makes you want engineer removed from the game.
Yet even with 500 strategies most players couldn't play engi without getting chronic depression
I would play this if it were more balanced, seeing you guys curbstomp the enemy team was funny but idk how fun it'd be to be on the receiving end.

I would say this is a bit unbalanced ngl but it looks fun! With some readjustments it should be fine.
Robots are really good at noobstomping, which forces players to be more careful with that they do. With more experienced players on both sides matches are usually balanced (If GPS doesn't add a new robot which either slaughters everything it sees or does nothing at all)

When I heard “If you want anyone to stop shooting you just crouch” I immediately had the thought of a supportive hoovy boss who can heal other robots, can’t move or be damaged while crouching, and has a special ability where they can force enemies into a conga for easy kills.

This was by far one of the most fun play sessions I've had (I joined through beard), I was "Xan" in that game. I always play medic and there was so much going on, it was so much fun trying to keep as many people healed as possible for as long as I could. You all oughta host more of these.

I literally thought of this the other day, Glad I'm not the only one who feels like youtubers would make great MvM bosses
human players should get MVM upgraded weapons to even the game
10 minutes in, and I'm not really sure how this is balanced. Unless the robots are being very reckless and playing far away from the objective, the humans pretty much have to wipe out multiple bosses, doing tens of thousands of damage, before they can even really push the cart.
I don't know whether the boss robots respawn or not, but there are problems either way: if they do respawn, then it means a disproportionate amount of effort needs to be given by the human offense to push the cart even a few inches. If the robots don't respawn, however, then it means that capping the cart just becomes a yawnfest once the agony of defeating the robots is seen through.
Am I missing something here?
EDIT: Okay, so I see the robots do respawn.
I'm not a game designer, but this is my gut feeling around the robots:
- none of them should be able to pick up health kits
- none of them should be able to block the objective from being capped: this means you can't just sit on the cart and prevent players from doing anything
- none of them should be able to see stickies laid by the human team
- seeing tunnels and doorways that only humans can access is great, and more of those would be welcome for future maps
its unbalanced on both sides, some maps are terrible too
I swear these intros from Big Joey are gonna kill me and yet his content's so good. 💀

This seems like a fun idea but also a bit too one-sided to be fun. One team is straight up better than the other in every way.
This has a LOT of potential.
Loved playin in the event, sad the last round and some other bits were cut out though

So I'mma just steal some ideas.
Soundsynth -
Rocket jumps around the map and attacks via market-gardening or manntreading players. Has a small chance to instantly suicide upon killing a player.
RAMWiz - Doesn't directly attack, only spawns if someone is playing Engineer. He remains invisible, and only focuses on engineers, sapping their buildings before cloaking.
TechnoKnight - Attacks only with melee, has high speed and health, and is extremely good at trimping.
Vorobot - Appears as either a Scout or a Sniper wearing the Law and the Macho Mann. If he's playing as a Sniper, he'll have a medic-bot with a Vaccinator pocketing him. Upon getting a kill, there's a small chance that they'll do the Director's Vision taunt and say "Ez" in the chat.

The giants are a bit to broken, if it was balanced a bit more this could be a actual gamemode
I mean, you can balance it out by just focusing them because we're just seeing people fighting against a well coordinated team but if its with random players, well lets just say a wrangled sentry and a few players is enough for one giant
