hello my friend, greetings from turkey My 4204A Super Slim console has the same issue. it was caused by the socket I plugged in, there was a sound from the socket and my console turned off and turned on a red light. The console sometimes opens without any outside intervention, so opening it by applying pressure does not work in this console. When the console is opened, I can use it without any problems as before. Trying a new psu didn't solve my problem, what should I do to fix the console?

Now its just red light, pressing power button will turn green for a sec and turn blank... pressing power button will make it light red again then another press green light for sec and then blank...cycle Most of the rapair man here suggest i just new ps3 or move on to ps4(i have ps4 but i still want to play with my ps3 console)
