This was like a movie, or a production! I loved the music, and the super clean editing. I've actually made preserved lemons before, and I loved them. My favorite thing to use them in was chicken noodle soup! They have such a unique texture and they are so delicious. I can just imagine the flavor they added the the chicken. Along side the fresh herbs, the spices, and having the onions on the bottom! That makes them steam and flavor the meat so well. Very professional my friend. 🤤🤤
Ahh thank you Resa so much for this wonderful comment 😊 Ahh wow, you made the preserved lemons?! Would love to see a recipe one day if you're able to make a video 🍋You're right they really have such a unique texture and flavour. Ooh I never thought of adding them to chicken noodle soup - and now I'm definitely going to give that a try! 🍜
Moroccan Chicken Tagine With Preserved Lemons And Olives😋👍. The cooking here is astonishing. I have never used or had preserved lemons before but I believe they are and amazing ingredient to work with. Don Imran Family Cooking, taking the art of food to another level, just superb!!!!
Thank you! It really was incredible and the chicken was so moist. You might also like our fish tagine recipe which also was so delicious. Cooking in the tagine keeps all that incredible and moisture inside. Hope you enjoy the chicken as much as we did and have a fabulous weekend!
I made this the other night in the slow cooker setting on my Ninja Foodie, served with saffron infused basmati rice. My family love, love, loved it. My picky eater son said it was the best thing I've ever made. For me it was a little on the salty side, but I also added salt to the onions. The preserved lemon would have been enough. Thank you for a great recipe. I'll be making it frequently!
We enjoyed this very much. By the time it was ready the level of moisture was perfect. It looked fabulous and with a little salt and cooling the flavours really came through. It would be helpful to say whether the preserved lemon skins are intended to be eaten.
This was surely a treat to watch Imran! You guys have introduced me with such beautiful ethnic dishes that I would have never known or heard about them otherwise! Hoping to watch many more such amazing videos! Please upload some bloopers and behind the scenes too😍
I bought this preserved lemons as it looked very interesting, but didn’t know how to make use of it. I was thinking to make sweet and sour pickle with them but now I will follow this recipe too.

Moroccan food often has sweet notes even in savoury dishes, however, this dish is not very sweet - it just has the right balance of sweet notes. You can leave out the apricots if you wish though - or alternatively you can use prunes or dried plums instead 😊

What can you use instead of apricot? Is this dish sweet as I love my spice
