Please keep them coming. I am sure to try this dish!. I've loved every dish I have tried so far....so has my Dad! He's finicky about food. Anyway, my favorite so far is the chicken with potatoes...I added kalamata and green olives with basmati rice. Oh boy, is that delicious! Thank you!
Just cooked this for the second time, and it's so so so flavorful! I happened to have some mint pesto as well, so I added a bit to the marinade, and used it in the end to decorate the plate - super happy with the result 💝
All I need is a marrocon living room motif and a few puffs!!! Also some of the saffron, i am amazed at your depth of Kooning lbolledge^ just amazwz me too. Thanx
Aww, thanks but you really don't have to do that. They're easy to find here as well but my stovetop is the absolute worst!! Can't wait to cook with gas again :) Have a great day!
Great dish! It’s also very easy to make preserved lemons at home, in the refrigerator. It takes 2-3 weeks of time, though it is passive time. Just salt and water on the front end.
Is there a printed recipe? I made this based on the video and it was delicious. I used a Romertoff clay pot (covered) for baking (after soaking for 15 min); about 70 minutes @400° and this made lots of sauce as well.
Typical of any Greek is to use Kalamata olives :) Amen I even use Kalamata olives when making Poutaneska pasta. or even on Pizza. Nothing comes close to these bad boys! Great Recipe Dimitra!
Hi Dimitra... 😁 Please forgive me for asking a question about chicken, but not about what you just did chicken... It's about the gyro sandwich/plate. Are the spices for the meat the same spices for the chicken gyros??? Aldi do you make it like a patee' as you have the meat? Thank you 🤗🦋
No, the very nature of a slow cooker always lengthens cooking time and depends on whether the setting is on high or low. Even on high it still takes some dishes two hours to safely and fully cook through. I like the low heat setting when possible to permit maximum flavor infusion.
Lady in traditional Moroccan chicken tajine we don't put Paprika, cumin... That go in sharmola for fish 😮😮!!! Sharmola For chicken we put turmeric and green olives. Ginger saffron are ok. But red paprika and cumin No... Cumin for tajine of beef meet....
Demetra, why Morocco chicken??? Hellada/Hellenics don't make chicken different ways patriotina??? I thought this was a Hellenic show??? Lol..... Btw, thanks for the recipe. Great segment today!!!
We always eat Tagines with Moroccan Bread never with Rice, we cook Tagine always in the Tagine pot and it never goes in the oven and finally we never use neither Honey nor Chickpeas in chicken Tagines..

I've seen recipes using lemon juice instead of water, and everyone says to use only organically grown lemons.
Good job dimitr's

Panasonic has a 10 cup rice cooker with a clay pot function
Πρέπει να είναι πολύ νόστιμο φαγητό! Ισως το δοκιμάσω σε κάποιο κάλεσμα, γιατί οι δικοί μου δεν τρώνε ιδιαίτερα φαγητά....
Could it be done in a crockpot?
Yes, it can :)
@@DimitrasDishes Would it be the same amount of time then?

Tagines is not a dish. It is a vessel, where food is cooked in its steam. Like dum in India.
You don’t need to add water to the chicken in the oven?

Un tajine sans plat à tajine n'est pas un tajine, c'est comme un couscous sans couscoussier, ça n'a aucun sens!

haha!! Trust me when I tell you you're gonna love it!!

People can adapt a recipe to where they live and like.
nobody asked you 😅 that's her version dear
That is you .This is HER recipe and video.
don't watch then do it your own way I love her style
Love the recipe until I hear the noises she makes we she is eating it 😞
Why the hell do people think that any time there is a moment with out talk that they MUST play irritating music. So amateur. So annoying. Just bad.

Cooks in it’s own juice
