Overwintering my Canna lilies, not like last year when I lost them all

- The same procedure as every year, well last year I screwed up and lost all my Cannas, because I didn’t move them into the house / basement in time. This year I am in good time, so next year well enjoy the Cannas again
That my friend is a love/hate relationship! You had me laughing so hard because we all have been in the same situation. I starts off all gentle and proper, then I quickly turn into psycho man not giving a $&#@ if I smash them or not. But they're coming out of the pot one way or the other! And you got rain on top of it all -- icing on the cake brother. Keep up the great vids. Thanks!
Thank you, If I would have posted the whole clip TH-cam would have blocked my channel 🤣🤣🤣, but as you said, they're coming out of the pot one way or another and they did, and now they are in the basement with the dehumidifier on.

Last year i just cut of the foliage and put the Canna's, who where still in their pots, in a frost free and dark garage en almost al of them survived during the winter. Maybe you can try that yourself! It costs you a lot less time en irritation!
@rinus2020 I would love to do that but I don't have a garage and my basement has limited space because I also store my red bananas in there as well as all the other crapnwe have down there.

That was so much fun watching you go through all that and know that I have gone through similar. Sometimes you wonder now why do I love this gardening so much?!!😢 You are the best!!! Thank you for sharing that. I thought that to save Canna rhizomes was similar to Saving Dahlias but wasn’t positive. It is a bitch job when they’re in containers but what are ya gonna do. It is what it is 😂
it is more than sometimes when I thing... why the he** am I doing this? this year I am putting them into different containers, but you know it will be a bitch when it comes to getting them out again 🤣, I recorded a Ba,boo rhizome video the other day and I love bamboo, but that was also a moment when I though... Jochen you are the biggest idiot there is 🙂
Another very funny video! 😂 Jochen, collect the seeds and make another video about canna seeds germination! They should pop up within 2 weeks. So you will have even more new plants for next year!

Thank you and I am going to make another canna seed propagating video I actually habe them growing on the radiator just now, from the red one were i collected more seeds from before I pulled it out of the pot. Not sure when I am going to do the video but it is coming

Thank you so much, that is so nice. And while I leave some of my questionable language in the video, this one was a real job of hate.. but i am glad I did it because temperatures have really dropped.
