@@Dezemi Appreciate you brother!
Sounds like Dan Hardys voice
@@amberlyrose9114 Stop the shyte!
@@Dezemi Agreed
"Ran out of opponents" is one of the craziest lines I've heard 😂😂😂
It’s a tuff line to say but it’s very frustrating for fighters, I ran out of people to fight in kickboxing and had to start fighting Muay Thai
@@carmelo5320 You ran out of opponents? Where? What's your name?
She’s a beast !
My sister was a taeqwondo prodigy at 13 she was supposed to go to the Olympics when she was 16 but no one would want to fight her so when she was 14/15 she was competing in the adult league and still doing fairly well. To a point where a 22 year old woman had to cheat to beat her. Unfortunately my sister suffered a spinal injury so she never made it to the Olympics
@@thartiustheslayerofthots7088 Sorry for her , I hope she is still able to function fine in daily life
I love how the athletes in ONE are all so respectful and gracious. It's something ONE is priding itself on and rightly so.
Never saw the original upload, glad I caught the re-release ;-)
It's what you get when the head of the organisation operates on a foundation of principles unlike a certain Mr Dana White
@@lafevre1636 it got Dana a lot of succes and a few people a lot of money. I find myself favoring ONE more and more because of the seemingly more martial arts minded approach
It is also a huge part of Asian culture, and based in Asia. So they have to appeal to their audience and be mainstream acceptable. I love ONE personally.
@@lafevre1636 maybe they sell not to primarily Americans who have shown time and time again they won’t buy it unless there is “drama”. But I guess it’s Dana’s fault Americans have such a wildly narrow view of the world
Southeast Asian cultures are huge on respect
This is a much deeper and darker MMA video than most MMA Channels make. A very good watch so far..
I hope you enjoy my friend!
Its crazy how theirs twn year olde that could beat up old men in Thailaind I mean look at them compared to Americans the same age 30% of whom which are obese
@@TheLinguisticdiet has a huge impact on that, obviously. If you cut most meat out, eat lots of high protein plants, nuts, beans with rice and vegetables you will be surprised how well you feel and how strong you can be. It's a HUGE misconception by most that you need to eat meat to be protein rich. In fact you really don't need nearly as much protein as some think. Look up vegetarian or vegan Muay Thai fighters and look at their diets. I barely eat meat at all and I haven't worked out or tried to stay in shape since I was in my mid 20s and I'm 36 now. I'm about 174 and very lean. Once I commit to working out and start training as I plan to it will be very quick and easy for me to get cut again and be in good physical shape for training because of my diet. When people eat lots of red meat, fast food and what not they increase their risk of health problems, especially cancers. Theirs certain things in red meat that hugely increases your risk of colon cancers. Meat in general just makes you feel heavy and gross.
Man, I love Muay Thai, both as a combat sport and as a martial arts discipline. It has always been my first love, as I trained Muay Thai well before transitioning to an MMA gym. With that said, as a father, seeing small children doing full-contact fighting on a professional level is really frightening. It is the national sport of Thailand, and is absolutely ingrained in their culture, but it's really hard to watch kids as young as 8 taking that kind of damage before their brains have even come close to being fully developed. Great topic, Academic! Admittedly, it's a hard watch, but you'll always get my like and comment. And Rodtang and Stamp are absolutely amazing to see perform, every single time they compete.
These people who send their kids to train and fight do so out of desperation. If they had other opportunities I’m sure they would send their kids to school instead but Muay Thai times supports the entire family.
I absolutely agree. Thats me in the thumbnail and I have a couple of vids on my page. Once I had my son, I couldn't fathom him doing the same thing.
Boxing, kickboxing, and muay thai are "gutter sports" and its a way to get out of that lifestyle.
I started in my 20s and it gave me everything. A skill, a vocation, confidence but I was an adult and already had trauma and baggage I was bringing with me.
My coach, Kru Vong, had a son a little younger than me and couldn't understand why he never learned, because his dad had over 300 fights in Thailand. Once I had my son it made sense. I was born in Asia and raised Asian but couldn't see putting my son in those dangerous situations.
Kids don't hit as hard as adults and with soft gloves they are barely pushing each other. They start developing their strength at 12 onward, so before that mixed fights are very common. Some of the videos he showcased is from this channel here: www.youtube.com/@reminariinamuaythai
I think with right regulation Muay Thai can be safe for children.
Only poor families allow their children to fight. It is either Muay Thai or starvation for many, is starvation good for children?
@@MinotaurvsCyclops It's not just poor family that let their kids fight. In the channel I mentioned above, the father has a gym where he teaches children including his two daughters Muay Thai, and there's one time even a few foreigner children (I think one was American) fought, and they weren't even 10 years old.
Stamp is such a star! Her energy just exudes out of the screen.
She really is a star.
She's a great fighter, but really not a star for that.
Unfortunately.
Stamp's attitude is what sets her apart. Her smile is just so adorable.
Love Rodtang and Stamp. Not just their skills in the ring but also their rags to success stories . Superstars
Both of their stories are so inspiring
Great examples of what hard work and dedication is
Glad you learned something here 👍 😊
There are tens of thousands of hardworking child fighters who never got the break they did.
@@relativelybasic so? there are thousands of hardworking people of all ages and origins who never get the break, that's not the point. we have enough reasons already to be sad and broken.
we need positive examples of what CAN be achieved, that's what gives us hope, that's what motivates us and most importantly what sets an example for the future.
@@relativelybasic well there are children all over the world that never got the break either and those exist also in the west.
They will both be victims of early alzehwimers and irreversible traumatic brain injuries
Both of these warriors gave me so much motivation. They came from nothing, they put everything on the line, they committed their lives. Along the way, both experienced hardships and failures, but it seemed like those trials just made them stronger and stronger. These two give me goosebumps.
I'm so honored to coexist with these amazingly inspirational characters.
The stories behind combat sports are amazing. Sometimes I forget there are real people and stories behind the killers we watch for entertainment.
It's unreal how many great and emotional stories there are!
I fell in love with muay thai but mma is where the money I'd ag I wish muay thai fighters would get more recognition
I never thought I'd like the sport, but it truly holds a special place in my heart now!
That why Stamp Fairtex does BOTH Muay Thai and MMA. So not only is she very talented but very well off.
Thank you so much for bringing this video back! I was so miffed with myself for missing it the first time around. Love your videos. Thank you again!
You are welcome mate 🙏 glad to be able to finally have it back. Was super bummed when it got sucked into a black hole because it was doing so well and is probably my favourite video I’ve done! I hope you enjoy my friend
I have been and always will be an deep admirer of Stamp. Now she has opened a door for so many young people as well as showing them they to can DO IT! The effects may never fully been known. Having said that the young athlete at 02:55 and 03:25 is NOT Stamp but is a future potential Champion named Riina. I believe she is 9 or 10 now. Thank You Stamp for providing sooooo much for sooooo many.
I started watching one last year and completely fell in love with both of these fighters immediately but I didn't know much about them other than the fact that they are undoubtedly the best at what they do so this video showed me so much and I learned so much about them- like I had no idea that they were this connected in the past- it was very interesting to find out about their stories so Thank you for this video
Now watching this after stamp has won the MMA title and is now the only female 3 sport champion in martial arts. I love both of these athletes. 😊
Man, I'm so glad that I found your channel! It's really excellent work you're putting out, I really appreciate the production quality you put into your pieces. Please keep up the good work and keep these docs coming good sir!
Thanks for the reupload! It's always great to see the backstory of great athletes, because most of the time you only see the performance and not all the hard work over years and years. But i guess this counts for every profession like science, art, literature to only name a few. It's always humbling to see so much dedication, will and determination. Especially in a time where most people look for shortcuts (lose 20 pounds in 2 days with these gummy bears....).
Dude great work with this video. You really made those highs feel high and the lows feel low. You had me cheering and saying “OH NO!!!” in this.
Thank you for bringing their stories to life. I now have a ton of respect for these two
Thank you for a beautiful documentary on these two athletes!
Rodtang 🔥
About time we got a video on him.
Edit: I've never heard of Stamp, and thank you for including her. What a great character and amazing story.
Glad you enjoyed it my friend, and Stamp is literally one of my favourites after making this i really look forward to her title shot later in the year!
Someone doesn't follow ONE on insta and it shows
@@ajax3310 cool? I don’t follow it, you’re right. Supposed to be an own or something?
Stamp is great.. I like some of the UFC women’s talent but stamp is definitely my favorite female combat athlete.. Angela lee is great as well.. one is a true martial arts promotion, while UFC has basically turned into something like WWE in a way since like Conor and Ronda blew up.. and now ironically UFC and WWE are joint companies or both owned by the same company 😂🤦🏽♂️
@@Greyreal. if u really like combat sports ONE is definitely worth watching or checking out in general.. most fights are absolute wars.. especially the Muay Thai and kickboxing matches.. much better than UFC in a lot of ways imo
Amazing video that I probably wouldn’t have seen if it wasn’t reuploaded with that announcement! I especially love these stories that are less known in the west, it was like watching a movie where I was cheering and crying during Stamp’s matches. So thrilling!
This video deserves 100M views. I love Muay Thai, but this is a good piece for anyone to see what others around the world go through in comparison to the comfortable, complacent, and crybaby lives many live.
They're backstory is so amazing and heartwarming ❤️❤️
Thank you for posting this again!!! I was looking for this last night and was sad when I couldn’t find it. I’ve been recommending this video to so many people. ☺️
Yeah its been a bit of a trip, but she's back! Thank you mate for recommending!
I was gutted when this got brought down before I got the chance to watch it! Thanks for the upload!
My heart just exploded watching this. What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
WOW. OUTSTANDING. Thank you so much Todd for the hard work that went into this video. Just Beautiful.
This is such an excellent documentary! I brought a tear to my, their stories are incredible and moving.
I don't know how I didn't find this channel earlier, but glad I did this is high quality work. Please continue to do your thing and thank you.
Never heard of Stamp, but wow, what an inspiration.
STAMP IS A LEGEND SHE WON 3 TITLES
Bro this was outstanding, you keep getting better! Thanks for the awesome content.
This is one of the best fight doc I've seen in a long time
Absolutely beautiful. I nearly cried.
Amazing video and great story telling. Also I love the vibe of one fc and people being kind to each other after fights
Great documentary love how you went back and forth from both of their careers I been following both of them and liked to see where they came from as kids very well put together
Amazingly put together
What a beautiful documentary. Thanks for sharing so much insight. I had no idea that Stamp and Rodtang were involved.
Awesome vid mate! How can you not love these two.
I would like to say you have a great talent for telling stories! Thank you for all your hard work!
Before watching, I'm excited about this one. You and Napoleon are both producing such good shit lately.
Thank you mate appreciate the support! Napoleon is such a great dude and pleasure to call him a friend!
@@MixedMartialAcademic how you are both not at least 500k subs just blows my mind. You'll get there I'm sure.
Guess we should post more than once every month and a half ahaha! Im super happy with where I am at now I am truly blessed in all honesty!
@@MixedMartialAcademic kinda of hard to post that frequently the kind of stuff you do. Mark Robber, the engineer guy, has millions and only posts twice a year.
But yeah, you are doing great. I was just saying you guys both deserve way more recognition. Hugs from Portugal, mate.
Beautiful documentary man!
Amazing telling of these 2 great fighters inspiring stories. Keep up the great work!
One Championship is by far the most entertaining martial arts organization nowadays.
I love both of these fighters. I hope rodtang will be spared from the hell that is cte, but i have a feeling it most certainly will get it. He takes so much damage to his head.
Brilliant documentary. Thank you
Thanks for making this
Thank you for this documentation very inspirational and beautiful ❤❤❤
Great contend. I love both of them. Thanks for sharing this
Respect and love for Thailand and Thai fighters !❤🇹🇭🙏🔝
Lets gooo!!!! Love your videos man, keep up the great content Mr Academic!!
Appreciate it! Thank you mate 🙏
awesome video. Thank you for this!
Very good documentary, the first time I did Muay Thai I fell in love with the sport, and I always had and still have admiration for these athletes who come from "nothing" become successes with hard work and dedication, these should indeed be the examples for the new youth , many nowadays think that staying in comfort will take them where they want but everything takes effort and leaving the comfort zone, thanks for this documentary 🙏🥊
you deserve WAY more views. amazing video
So glad to see the long format vids after all the shorts of the build! So sick!
Amazing documentary!
this was awesome man thankyou
I love Stamp and Rodtang they are true martial artists and great role models.
Man how this channel has less than 100k subs is surprising, absolutely stellar level material, deserves millions of subs! Quality stuff
I appreciate that mate, thanks a lot 🙏
Hey man, loved your documentary. Watched every single minute of it the first time you posted. Hopefully, it can trend up again!
Doubtful, but I'm not really concerned with the views, just want to see it back! Appreciate you man
Really well made video! ONE should pay you and broadcast this video man. Really good editing.
Happy to see this back!!
awesome video man, love to see you showing love to one championship. There's only about another 100 ashes to riches stories in the promotion. Keep it up man, we love your content
Thank you mate, means a lot!
Thanks for this video. Beautiful
This video is killer. You earned a subscriber! Thanks for the great content
What a well put together video
Loved this - the storytelling was excellent.
Greatest mma TH-camr ♥️ even I told my school teacher about you I love you man
Well done! Great documentary!!!
WHAT A VIDEO. Awesome, awesome, awesome work friend.
Man all your videos are so well done! Definitely high class mini documentaries I can’t get enough of these. I would to see your take on some fighters like Alexander Volkanovski, Jamahal Hill, or Brandon Moreno.
But I think Shavkat Rakhmonov would Abe a great one for me personally because of the fact of how he’s undefeated and super underrated in the ufc would be a great one to watch your take on him. They even have videos on fighters like Stephen Thompson saying how he didn’t want to take a fight with him how he was scared to fight him and khamzat acknowledging how good he is. There’s also videos of Joe Rogan speaking on him plus he’s ranked 6th in the welterweight and is almost a title contender. Would be interesting to see your take on it.
Didn’t expect the Muay Thai doc to make me cry at 9am on the toilet😮💨😩💕
Stamp liver shot against Angela Lee was a marvel. Only a world champion like Angela would remain on his/her feet.
Great documentary!!
Awesome Video man, way to highlight the emotions. As a listener it makes me feel more engaged
I appreciate that!
I loved watching Stamp! Looking forward to watching this one.

Phenomenal video!
When I first saw your channel all I knew about MMA was Connor and Jon Jones but now I can’t wait every time you upload, you truly are one of the best in your craft
*I love how they're both so humble*
i started muay thai on and off since 2013 (since i was in college and had no personal money except the money parents gave for school).
now i am a lawyer, practicing for 2 years and blessed with a lucrative salary and have just decided to go back to training. now i can pay and make time. however, i am 30 and the job takes a different kind of stress that i am already half baked on evening sessions. I now train muay thai MMA for self defense purposes (given my line of work).
The discipline i had from the sport really influenced the discipline i had in class as a student, to getting my license, and now working under pressure and still attending evening classes/sessions.
Thanks Muay Thai for the inspiration your sport gave me to claw my way up to where I am now!
Very well done. Thank you
Inspiring,thank you very much,subscribed!
