Thank you for that hey you Scott.
We may come from different political parties, but when you said I want those hundred people home tears started running down my face. I'm so proud to live in a country where people in different political parties can some together on these sorts of issues no matter how divisive our politics is. 🇮🇱🇨🇦
Yeah right Libs hate Jews.
Here here
@@brettparnell8254 Liberals hate Jews.
Trudo might not have the fire in his belly, but he sure has the "fiery flying pine-cone" .
This is hands fown the best podcast
The longer Trudeau stays, the bigger the loss tally. TIME FOR CHANGE!
lol if Liberals swap Leaders then Poilievre will lose.😂
A great, honest, enjoyable, and informative episode. Very refreshing, thank you.
I wonder if Trudeau's unwillingness to acknowledge broad public perspective will have an impact on his post-political executive career. Charisma, brand recognition and a top-shelf rolodex will take you a long way, but being impervious to outside information is not a recipe for profit.
Not much. Avg person doesn't pay attention to politics, and less to who's on the board of xyz corporation or NGO. There will be plenty of ops for him, whether people like it or not.
Another great discussion everyone! This has easily become my favorite political show and i look forward to it each week. Sometimes things get heated but in the end we all want the same thing, a country we can be proud to call home.
Did Scott quiet quit? Jordan dominates each show; I enjoy her contributions but would love for the other panelists to participate more.
After watching that podcast it was obvious that Trudeau is a very self centred person. He talked about himself the whole time.
There are certain people on this podcast that are now just realizing (or publicly admitting) this....
@@Griff1984lol. They've all been critical of Trudeau for years. Particularly with regards to his ego. But sure, delude yourself into little echo chamber narrative.
@@stratford374lmao there he goes
@@Tomyum19 Tommy my boy! Here to add to the echo chamber?!
"If they don't call Trudeau the anti Christ they're lib cucks!"
Happy to have you on board, big fella!
@@Tomyum19 I know right?!? Can you believe this guy?!?!
prorogation doesn't stop RCMP investigations into SDCT mis appropriation of over $800 million, much to private companies started by the SDCT board that approved funds allocations. Prorogation also kills all existing bills before the senate and parliament, some being a key element to the now dead ND Liberal supply and confidence agreement. What would Singh do when parliament resumed sitting?
Brutal... but brilliant. As always. ❤
Jordan lost her photo of Kamala...yes..
Exclude the people the democracy. Always a good policy!
Playing too softly in the political background is the theme from Gilligan's Island..but it's getting louder..
More like Benny Hill 😂😂
Pierre has not promised to balance the budget, at this point. I think the term he uses is 'fix the budget'. As someone who is voting for the Conservative party I hope they cut some of these frivolous programs and eventually balance the budget. I am positive he wouldn't even commit to a timeframe for a balance budget. Pierre wants to look at the finances first.
@@Griff1984 Which frivolous programs do you want cut?
@@stratford374 I don't have justify anything to you. My personal situation is completely different than yours. Learn to think for yourself.
@@Griff1984 Pierre, is that you?
@@stratford374 Oh Stratford what would be the comments without the trolls. Have a good night, talk next week.
@@Griff1984 I'm not trolling. You said you want cuts to frivolous programs and then got super defensive when I asked what programs.
If you think there is frivolous programs, must have certain ones in mind. Poilievre has specific ones in mind he just refuses to say which ones because he knows it will be extremely unpopular.
Everyone's in favour of "cutting frivolous spending" until we have to actually decide what to cut.
A lot of talk about proroguing and not a lot of talk about the criminal coverup they're actively engaging in. Where's. The. Funds.
Lol. This is the latest thing you folks are screeching about, eh?
First it was foreign interference, then it was the NDP propping up government, and the constant refrain about the carbon tax. Now we're onto this, eh?
Jesus it must exhausting having to pretend to be outraged indefinitely. I'm tired just reading your comments every week. Oh well, carry on.
@@stratford374 that copium is hella strong on the left
@@pt93music What copium? Just calling it like I see it.
Week after week you're just hysterical. Sometimes over something legitimate, yet you still use hyperbolic language which makes it hard to take you seriously.
I'm tired of Trudeau too buddy! I want him out of office too! But I can go a day without thinking about him. You should try it. You might find that happiness that's eluded you for so long.
@@stratford374 see you on lib talk Friday.
@@pt93music Lol. See? This is what I'm talking about. Everybody who not a fervent zealot like yourself, aggrieved in perpetuity, is a lib.
You're exhausting bud. If you ever come back to reality you might realize that making "f Trudeau" your entire personality is just sad and isolating.
Do you have friends? People you talk to in real life? About things other than Trudeau? Seriously. Try it.
I had to laugh when everyone accused Kory of being offended by hearing opinions from the other side. Newsflash guys: conservatives are very used to hearing opinions from the other side. It’s what happens every time we turn on the news/open the paper/open a social media application
You'd think with a podcast sponsored by Telus, Jordan could get better internet than 1998 AOL dial up
She's on Socialist internet. /s
Everyone asks what will Poilievre cut to fix the budget?
But why aren’t we asking what new Taxes will Trudeau impose to fix the budget?
Because Poilievre has specifically said he would make cuts. Trudeau hasn't said anything about new taxes.
If/when he does we'll ask for details. Until then, what is Poilievre planning to cut?
@@stratford374Poilievre is a grifter who only wants power. He voted with the Bloc to increase OAS to Seniors 65-74 the richest generation in Canadian history which will cost $16B+ over 5 years with no updated means testing/clawbacks. If he follows through with his dollar for dollar law where are the $16B+ in cuts? He also wants to increase National Defense spending to hit the NATO spending target faster than Trudeau that will cost billions. So where are the billions in cuts to pay for that?😂😂
All federal parties use federal spending power to mess in provincial jurisdiction. Conservatives just focus on different programs than Liberals (e.g., Canada Job Grant), Canada Action Plan construction projects (or more the signs for construction projects).
it was always only about rainbows and unicorns
Let him drag the party down is what I think. Looks good on him. He should have never been prime minister in my book. Legacy and apparently his fancy socks got him elected.
Talk about picking on the conservative
Hah. Kory gettin' a little testy there when called out. Bravo.
Me thinks he doth protest too much.
I always enjoy your podcasts. However, when Kory talks against the new dental program, help with prescription drugs and low-cost housing for the poor, I do feel a little stab in my heart, since I am poor. After Covid, I needed a lot of dental care, but we couldn't afford it. When my husband and I qualified for the dental plan, we are 73 and 74, it saved a lot of my remaining teeth. It has meant so much to me. I also think covering contraceptives and diabetes drugs is wonderful. My granddaughters will benefit from that. They are poor too. Our family works, but the cost of living all through the years has kept us poor, or lower middle-class. The NDP doesn't push for these programs to get votes. They do it because they actually do care for the poor. That is why we vote for them. And yes, we are poor, but we vote! What a shock, according to Kory. I think he may need a medical exam to see if he has a heart.
@@belleunruh8578 Every dollar that gets spent on dental care is a dollar that could have just taxed you less, either reduced income taxes for poor people or a refundible tax credit.
Every dollar you tax from the rich for dental care is a dollar you're not taxing from the rich to fund a cut in taxes for the poor. Dollars are fungible.
I've spent most of my adult life looking up at the poverty line. The NDP have no heart. They take my money and spend it on their friends and their social signalling and their "awareness" programs rather than doing the best thing for me as someone living in poverty - leaving my money in my pocket.
I want massive cuts to government and programs. At least 25%
Hahaha man you delusional.
What 25%? This is why they repeat that Poilievre needs to be asked the question.
What 25% are you going to cut? Please, enlighten me.
@@stratford374How about useless and racist equity programs and divisions of the government as such? Billions of dollars sent to other countries while we’re going broke? Millions upon millions spent on bringing immigrants here with no actual plan for them? Billions upon billions to subsidize massive automakers to build EV’s that no one wants? Millions wasted on a gun confiscation program that targets legal gun owners and does nothing to stop crime? Millions of dollars to put tampon machines in men’s washrooms on our military bases? Shall I go on, cuz I certainly can… The above listed is a start
I want 50% cut. WEF Trudeau already increased Federal bloat during convid by 40%. So at least a 50% reduction.
Hmmm there's been a 40% increase in silly servants he could start on. Those are exceptionally expensive with on going and ever increasing costs. Consultants that are duplicates for the many, many Liberal ministers that cannot run their own departments? And how about the fact there were four HUGE unfunded, brand new social programs started up inside the last two years, with borrowed money, DURING record deficits and still burgeoning record debt. A debt so large it costs more just to service the interest on than the Fed's give to the Provinces for healthcare..... you're GD right there's some room and fat to cut you socialist economic imbecile!G@@stratford374
@@seahorse2 Ignoring the insanity that result from cutting 50% if the federal budget... what programs do you want cut to make up that 50%?
Great pod. Pharmacare doesn't poll with me. I want (BIG) pharma out of our lives as much as possible. If I recall correctly, when Mike Marris cut welfare payments in half, food programs were instituted to make up (ever so slightly) a major financial cut. People need money in their pockets and freedom of choice to spend it. Imlementing programs keeps people more reliant on further government programs. However, dental care is an essential health need for all, and I have already benefitted from this program after having not been to the dentist in a couple of years prior to this year. It depends where citizens priorities are. Diabetes medication??? Dietary and other lifestyle changes would help more than medicating a problem that is mostly self-generated. Not a popular position, I know.
Wow. Me, me, me. I want the dental program cut.
Kory was a bit cringe in the second-half.
How could this podcast NOT begin with a moment or some acknowledgement of October 7th?!? WTAF 😳 guys?
The fact that NES made some screed that he won’t read Jody Wilson-Raybold’s book….📕 yeah OK Nate. I’m sure she cares 😂 but I respect Kory’s ode to The Lord of the Rings 😂🌋🧝🏼♂️🧙🏻♂️🧌
I think fixing transfer payments is job number 1 as federally we are sending massive sums toward Provinces for Education, Social, Infrastructure and Health programs. Juicing up and fixing this process would negate Federal tinkering including having to stand up stuff such as health and social programs be it dental, drugs, day cares. Debt financed federal programs should be all about increasing economic output of have not Provinces, and big ticket spending for military, border security, cofunding energy and infrastructure mega projects, STEM Education and research funds bringing Universities into collaborative research partnering and of course foreign affairs global aid to feed the starving and impovershed. Liberals are so far on the left the NDP party has the middle ground right now. Time to fiscally recenter as Liberals and push Cons to the right and NDP back to the left. Middle of the road Liberalism fails when the center is abandoned. Thus we return to Conservative resets to shed tired spending and reverse tax creep and NDP to be the moral voice for the workers and poor. We need a fulsome tension of all three parties and they all need to end the Bloc on the spectrum as a common problem to federalism. It is past due time for Provinces to get out of Federal lanes (AB/SK/QC immigration and Global Exports) and Provinces need to get health care fixed, ensure housing, shelters, policing, libraries, public schools, and drive the official language milieu. PS Mark Carney as PM Chief of staff makes some sense! End of my rant!
I want ranked ballots. Schulze method.
