Good stuff, nice to have a channel with some ordinary everyday farming. Slurry opening is always a panic, your lucky to have the new tank. Nice to see a lad keeping the machines clean.
A L I have every intention of having a little tour around Ireland sometime, Biskit and I did Scotland a few years ago for ten days and had a great time. If I have invitations to visit folks I would try and work out a route to call in on them as well. 😄👍
If you ever walked into the the bathroom after my brother you would know the danger of slurry fumes. At 12:13 in the vid is that a tension spring for the plug on that valve.

Antony farming there was about a foot of water in it before hand, I’d say it would be half full with another 4 or five load. It’s hard to judge when ur looking down on a tank

Bulll Games 6470 is a great tractor and very economical, but remember it’s a 4 cylinder engine so for hauling a 2000 gallon tank on contract work a 6 cylinder would probably be a better choice
IFarm WeFarm it will he replacing my valmet 6800 witch did 117 hp on a four cilinder it was on 25000 hours and wasn’t getting any better just getting a bit tired engine still original not had any work but they can be from the same generation of AGCO so might have the sisu engine what engine does it have and do you know the transmission

I dont think there should be a slurry ban tbh it's stupid as like you said could be weather during the ban and shit weather(if you'll excuse the pun) cant spread at all, nice to see that I'm not the only one not taking chances with leaving livestock in the sheds, not worth the risk at all of losing one in return for them not eating for an hour or two they can be chewing the cud, very fancy agitator btw 😀
Denis Murphy she’d pull a 2000 gallon with no issues, it may be easier to pull if it’s on recessed wheels compared to that 1600, she’s on new tyres so grip isn’t a problem either. about 125HP
You should consider a 2000 gallon tank. We went from a 1600 gallon tank ,same as yours bar a rain gun and mudguards to a 2300 gallon hispec with recessed wherls and sprung drawbar The 2300 is easier pulled and would travel where the 1600 would not

Homey yes that spring will keep the valve closed if you have a burst pipe or loss of hydraulic pressure

We have the exact same tank only galvanised and we got in 1997 and is going like day one. Are you going to the Cavan machinery show?

modle farmer 19 Wouldn’t suit our ground, very hilly and the 1600 is just a perfect size for us
