thanks for making these videos. I’ve been binge watching them all last night and this morning! Been learning heaps. Company I work for services these type of units but I barely get to see them. Only an apprentice still. Please keep up the good work 👍
Installed improperly 99% of the time is what causes all the problems. Then there’s the old-timers figure they’re going to measure the temperature of the suction line back to the compressor and think they’re measuring correct superheat and grab the dragon refrigerant and start pushing it in trying to make it colder lol. Couple months back somebody’s trying to stick in 27 extra pounds of R 410. Into a Panasonic ECOi (Sanyo) they roasted the compressor.
Fair play to you pal, great videos and content. Easy explanation of the various faults and rectifications. Keep up the amazing work, really enjoying your channel it’s the second one I ever subscribed to 😊 No mistaking that ‘brummie accent 😉 From across the water in Dublin 🇮🇪👍🏻
Keep doing what your doing mate. Love seeing other guys working on other kit. Never worked on Sanyo so would be good to see monitor software and what you use on other kit
Love your video great way to explain👍👍👍 Nice job done sir. I m also vrv/vrf maintenance and installation technician. Since 2009 I m working. I know very well daikin vrv, vrf like olg-Samsung-Rheem.installation and maintenance .currently working in Dubai..but my dream do job in UK. But very difficult can't find Visa because I m not graduate or capable to buy visa from agent 😥. In India.
You are better off in UAE. There are lots of AC jobs in UK. I have been working on VRV / VRF Systems since 1993. I have my own company for many years. There is always shortage of AC engineers in the UK. Very good pay in the UK if you are qualified and experienced engineer. I have been to the UAE many times, not for work, just to visit friends. Have a good day. 😉
Hi there, just newly subscribed and I'm liking the content your supplying. So I have a question, I've been looking at an Sanyo SPW-C1405DXH8 problem that it takes forever to start running and the controller doesn't show any errors, I've tested the crank heaters, the ambient temperature probe and can't seem to find the issue. Can you tell me how to put it in backup mode and back to normal so I can see if there's any difference. Thx in advance mate keep the good work
Thanks mate 🙌🏼👍🏼 Didn’t realise I pointed at things that much until I just watched it back 😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ I’ll try and control the finger on the next one 👉🏼😂👍🏼👍🏼
Yes the Sanyo or Panasonic software with your laptop computer interface you can see so much more and overriding command forcing it into test mode. That is the only way you can properly determine the superheat and your refrigerant level not by using temperatures and pressures from gauges or external handheld sensors.
I've always watched the US hvac techs but never knew a uk tech was on here its nice to see
Thanks mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah. We do have ac engrs here.

The Mitsubishi, LG, Daikin etc. VRF systems look good on paper but are awful when not installed properly. Thanks for showing this!!
