    These videos are godsend for a tech who’s new to troubleshooting this type of equipment, thank you.

    I see. Thank you.
    Just recently, the EEV coil did not work and the copper tube was frozen.
    Unfortunately, it was Daikin.

    Love this sort of content. Gonna share with the lads at work to help them get a better understanding.
    Any chance of future vids of similar nature for other components? Your explanations are a lot better than fault finding from a book!

      Thanks mate. Yeah that’s the plan, I’ve made a playlist called Daikin training where I plan to do a video for each component in an air conditioner. I’m no expert, I’m just making videos that I wish I had when I was learning. There will definitely be more videos of this nature. Cheers

    Hi Mitch have you ever tried getting boards repaired I have always thought it crazy that we have to replace a complete board when I assume all they need is a component ie processor or something. I have tried but had no luck.

    • @maracservices
      @maracservices  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@declankearney9353 I’ve taken a board out that was no longer available and taken it to a repairer who did actually repair it but after it was reinstalled, a different fault came up.
      I personally think it’s too risky trying to repair because a component failure can take out another component and you won’t know until you turn it on. Also if it’s a Daikin processor that’s faulty, the repairer won’t carry those parts unfortunately. I just think manufacturers need to make more durable boards but I do know what you mean.

    So I had a daikin 4MXM80 multisplit. After a month 1 room didnt work (valve didnt open). Placed a new motherboard, which blew up a month after installing. Daikin didnt want to send new motherboard under warranty. We decided to buy a new outdoor unit. (4000 euro). And after a month the new one had the same problem, just different room. Now all the sudden Daikin admid that it is a common problem on the MXM series, due to "too low voltage going to the magnets". They will send a new motherboard. Not sure if that is the problem, or if the pins just get stuck. Just FYI so you know :)

      We have exactly the same problem with the 4MXM68A. Been going on for 2 years now. They replaced the motherboard a month ago. We thought it was solved but this week one unit failed again. So changing the motherboard did not solve the issue. My guess is that the magnetic valves are just prone to get stuck over time.

    Professor, if you could please explain to us a video about the closed electric expansion valve, which carries the model EX7-121 from the working company Amrison, the method of connecting it to the driver, its maintenance, and its problems. I thank you for your cooperation. We greatly appreciate it.

    Just wonder, have you seen any rust problem on the EEV motor part (the whole black thing)

    • @maracservices
      @maracservices  ปีที่แล้ว

      Can’t say I’ve ever seen rust issues with them mate. Have you? I’m curious!

      @@maracservices (I'm homeoner myself, so I may not have a lot of information about this) However, I did see them in the R22 system (2012) and the new R32 system (2-3 years ago) and plus the outdoor board issues.
      there is a video link here: watch?v=Zk4Ku284cPU
      timestamp: 5:01 is the capacitor that failed in the inverter board (compressor cannot run/cutoff at high speed/ramping up)
      10:40 is the rusting EEV
      And there are lots of video showing how to change the capacitor on the inverter board by technician and homeowner, that speak the number of how many of them failed.

    So answer me this, cousin. On the small solenoid, if readings being 45,46,46,46;
    What would be considered bad ohm readings it were bad?
