Hi there Mary your special place looks so nice. You have your plants, your table and chairs, your little spinning wheels (I buy them too from the Dollar Tree each yr.) all the feeders . You're all set for a nice Spring and Summer ahead. We are having very strong winds today around here, so there is no being outside. My neighbor gave us some Iris bulbs last fall to plant and they are starting to show little green sprouts coming up. Still much to early to get into flowers just yet around here. Pretty soon the Maple and swamp trees will be coming out. The swamp trees are huge. Bill has to move our car out of the driveway and onto the street to keep away from them in the strong winds. We have high ledges out back and sometimes see the deer come through the area. In the summer we get a lot of nice shade from all the trees so our patio is cool. Have a good day today and sit down once in awhile, you are always on the go!

Good Evening, The back patio that you have is idyllic. It seems the perfect place to sit down, drink some sweet tea, and listen to the birds especially in the early morning or evening. I've always been fond of the call of the Mourning Dove. Its call in my opinion isn't mournful, but almost nostalgic. At least that was how I always felt when I heard it. Take care. ~William

how funny that you mentioned the hummingbirds. I just saw my first one a few minutes ago. At first I thought "wow, that's the biggest bee I've ever seen." lol then realized it was my little hummer friend making an appearance. I put my feeder out for him/her just a few days ago so it's perfect timing.
