    Why are you calling this "LEAKED" when it's Elon / tesla simply revealing this.

  • @Vangelis614
    @Vangelis614 ปีที่แล้ว

    In the mean time the other automakers are having a blast announcing their plans for new pickups in the Compact & Mid Size market segment. Tesla is absent in this market. Maybe it will be a good idea for Tesla/TSLA for the Company to participate in this race as it represents mainly the wants of the younger generation who are the future middle aged customers.

    What precisely makes this a truck? What is its payload capacity,or its towing capacity? It appears to be a large hatchback. I think the LDV is far superior, at this stage.

  • @jamesbingham1007
    @jamesbingham1007 ปีที่แล้ว

    Watch out legacy auto. The CT will get solid state batteries before the end of the decade. And, the next mountain to climb is carbon fiber full body construction. The cobination of the two will easily get the truck to 1k miles on a single charge.

  • @jamesbingham1007
    @jamesbingham1007 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ditch the mirrors and you have a narrow truck that looks bigger than it is(fellas know what I'm talkin' bout'). Plus, the truck will self park in your garage.

    I think Teslas at some point will be so well built other than maybe having to eventually putting a new battery pack in that youll never have to buy a new one.

    I really have my doubts that this truck does well once it ever hits dealers lots. People who ordered them won’t take delivery.

  • @Vangelis614

    At 1150 degrees Celsius the tires will become softer than peanut butter. Other than that, it is a great truck. Unfortunately, for those who are looking for a mid size pick up, the CT is still too large. Unless this vehicle is solely targeting the North American Market, it stands no chance in other markets around the world, like Europe, where stringent regulations and tighter drive environments exist. For these markets, a CT, with reduced size ( approximately by 20% of its current size ) is required. Lastly, this game with ever changing starting prices, inflation, model options, availability of EV cars in general and so forth,has to stop as it closely resembles to standard dealer practice’s. The CT was initially marketed at $39,900 for a base model option and now, for whatever reason, the starting cost has hit the $75,000 mark. Confusion, miscalculation and even greediness is the last thing that the newborn EV market needs.

      The design here is advantage to get the exterior smaller

    Should have been a midsized truck, nobody makes one in battery powered, but that's what the Market actually wants.
    Ford is seeing a slump in lightning sales, Chevy is delaying their full size battery truck, the hummer is a slow selling vehicle. Once the Tesla fan boys get their trucks and find out how impractical they are, Tesla will have to give them away with massive price cuts.

    Well for starters , this truck is beyond ugly . Number 2 and most important . I will never own an electric truck , because I use a truck like a truck and electric is unreliable .
    This whole electric revolution is all well and good in cities , although I dont kniw of any city where the electric grid isnt over burdened. This does not work for rural areas and if you need to drive any distance.
    I will drive the internal combustion engine for as long as possible
