Lilongwe Flooding of 2017

Devastating floods razed down homes and killed at least four people in Lilongwe on December 16, 2017. Property worth millions of kwacha either got destroyed or washed away. About 1000 people living along Mchesi Stream were affected and are in need of relief. But one unanswered question remains, "Why did city planners allow people settle along such a dangerous stream?"
