Google Workspace killed ms office because the latter milks you to use all of its tools and necessities.
These days school kids are using tablets for maths quizzes instead of white boards.
Tinder prevented singles from looking for love at bar, IMO I strongly disagree with tinders services esp the milking.

We all don’t want to American blockbusters and American T.V shows. I like J-Horror and J-Extreme movies. I also like B&W classics and I’ll certainly not find them on on Netflix or Disney+

I download my music to my phone and play it via Bluetooth. I don't like the idea of having a playlist that can easily be deleted against your will simply cuz the streaming company decided to remove it. If i buy/download it, it's mine to keep and i can decide what i wanna do with it. As far as video games go, it's extremely convenient for a wifi connection to update the game and save your progress, but when you don't have wifi it becomes a huge grievance and inconvenience.

The iPhone alone did not kill Blackberry. Smartphones had evolved further with the likes of Android and Microsoft (which also eventually died). Blackberry waited too long to update to a sleek phone without a physical keyboard. By the time Blackberry did try releasing their attempt at a full screen phone and the subpar technological features of the phone, it was over for them.

When I was at primary school in Australia (1965-71), we began writing in pen in Grade Four, and throughout Grades Four and Five we were required to use fountain pens that we had to refill from inkwells, and were strictly prohibited - on pain of very severe punishment - from using ballpoints. Then, in the year in which I did Grade Six, we were all issued with ballpoints (one blue, one red) as part of our annual stationary order. Over a single summer they had miraculously ceased to be the Devil's work.

    A) What killed Netscape was that the majority of computers sold at the time were Windows based, and thus had Internet Explorer already installed. A lot of consumers were basically too lazy and/or too stupid to bother with the (nearly negligible) effort to install Netscape. Netscape was consistently the superior browser, and to this day Internet Explorer is still referred to as Internet Exploder.
    B) Dell beat Gateway by offering inferior product for less money. Gateway offered direct sales and custom builds long before Dell even entered the market. Gateway to the very end was the superior product. Both companies were superior to Packard-Bell, which had a number of issues that made them glorified paperweights, worst of which was that many of their components were hard-wired, which meant that repairs and/or upgrading *required* finding a certified technician approved by Packard-Bell. The successor to Packard-Bell's title of 'worst shit sold as a computer' is now Acer, who have proven that the ability to make rad monitors doesn't translate into making good computers.

It leaves so many hard-working people unemployed once their company goes bankrupt, and some of these people have families to take care of. @AJ-xc4qe CDs when properly Mastered have way better sound quality and dynamics than crude hyper compressed Spotify. Not to mention not every artists music in the world is on
Spotify. You buy a CD you own the music. Not with Spotify
