I miss my 98 ZJ Up Country. Back in 2016 my old beater ZJ saved my life. All because my 68 vw bug wouldn't start. So I drove my ZJ to work. Got rear end and shoved into another car breaking my back in 4 places. If I would've been in my Bug, I don't think I'd be here today. The ZJ saved my ass!

I would buy the cheap jeep! Not only would I give you 2 dollars, I would commit to picking up the jeeps weight in trash out of the national and state land over the next year. I live in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado and all of our public land looks like that camper dump site because of our dump situation. It's an hour and 15 minute drive to the dump if you have to take anything bigger than what will fit in your regular trash service can, so everyone just dumps stuff out on public land. People suck. Thanks for helping to keep public lands clean!
here in rural TN its pretty cool because there are free dump places every few miles... but we learned it was really hard to get rid of a camper! That and any fluid other than oil, nobody wants that stuff.

Two things, your camera guy is the real cowboy. He doesn't have to drive and doesn't have to open gates. Second I am glad you guys got to see the beautiful area where I grew up.
I'm disabled from nerve damage, stuck in the mountains too long back in '84, I even made it as a page two with Paul Harvey when I surprised everyone after walking out. I'm in Oregon, I still love going into the mountains but I don't own a car, my ss won't afford me a car (jeep). You'll even get to meet the coolest dog in the world.

We have a great crew down here and a big lake. Amazing wheeling. Was up there in Winchester bay at the dunes last week. Crabbing is great right now if you love crabs. Even off the dock. So fun. Go over there. If you guys want to have some fun down here in NorCal come wheeling. You’ll love it. But it’s hot!

Ok I am not sure how this works but , If I was able to buy the zj for a buck . I would attempt to fix what was wrong with it ( video not all on TH-cam yet so not sure what all is broke on it yet ) then when fixed I would join the Lake county off roaders four wheel club & enjoy off roadding . If you would like I could make videos of the repair process & the off road adventures . Ps I would go easy on the rock climbing and stuff . I have a wife & she will shoot me with my own gun if I start spending way to much money on it . Good thing is when I get close she becomes a never ending nag so I get a heads up . Getting the rig here to north eastern Ohio is something I am not sure how it works . I can drive to Tennessee but Oregon I could buy a zj & do my own thing with . Cost of there and back you know . I guess we fans will find out how this works . Best of luck everyone
