I just got the budget lift on my ZJ the end of last week, and, today, started doing the patch work and 2x6 steel tubing rockers. It is slow but I will get it road/trail worthy again, lol.

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 5.2 l Mopar engine myself yet to build it for mud though but I have a brand new transmission rebuilt for two grand last year after 220,000 MI on the first one. If maintained a jeep will last a very long time.
