Man I wish you can find people if they were selling a 2.0 upgrading. I do love how the karcher cube sits on same shelf setup as you do. Ve52 almost sounds the same as my Karcher 1800.
Hi Keav, Love your videos! So Bought an active VE52 after your review & then you reviewed the 2.0 & I loved the size & set up of the 2.0 so I bought it. However when it stops after I let the trigger go on my gun it has a squeak right as it stops, I noticed during your review yours did not seem to make the same squeeking sound. My question is, is my unit defective ? Thank you, Anthony
It most likely is not defective. Possibly could be a difference in parts at different periods of manufacturing. You could reach out to their customer support with a recording of it to see what they say. They are usually pretty responsive. What hose are you using?
Awesome video. I’m just a dumb homeowner! Would the active be a pressure be good for around the house? Siding, patio, car etc? Or should I get a Greenworks like the 2300 or karcher 1700? For example. Thank you!
For Active price the Pro Series of Ryobi and Greenworks are a good choice for home stuff. They usually come with an upgraded hose and act more like a gas pressure washer, but still electric. You just need to make sure you use the right nozzles between the house stuff and car washing.
People really like this one it’s 1/4 just like the Uberflex, but wire braided and has the M22 ends just like it as well. amzn.to/4dpGztC. 1/4 hose is more than enough and it’s lighter than the 3/8 ones.
Great video just subbed and liked! I received my new Active 2.0 and with my foam cannon I am not getting the thick foam that I am used to with their recommended 1.25 orifice, but it is much better when I switched my MJJC to a 1.1 mm orifice. I much prefer the foam that is produced from the 1.1 but worry about the pressure washer not liking it per their specs, what would you do? I am a weekend part time detailer 5-7 vehicles a month for reference.
@@CarsWithKeav thank you for the quick response I am using honey dew snow foam from Chemical Guys and use 2 oz soap and fill just to the base of the neck of the bottle with water. I am not using any type of water softener which may be the problem? However, my gas 2800 psi pressure washer that I am coming from before my Active did great thick soap with the 1.1 orifice (I know not apples to apples just letting you know what I had before) and I have 20-amp breakers but don't want to hurt the Active by using the 1.1 orifice on my foam cannon
I prefer the 4.0 for most tasks and would go as low as a 4.5 for a final rinse. 5.0 at least on my electrical circuit and water supply would barely get 700 PSI. Now also I have found just because it says 5.0 doesn’t always mean it is I have seen them be off by 20% more or less. If you did go 5.0 I would suggest running a 25 degree to get some more panel impact yo make up for the lower PSI.
1.4 to 1.9gpm really isn’t going to be that much of a difference nor be enough to notice a difference in time saved. Just saying. Really appreciate the video and input. 👍
When I went form my Ryobi which was doing 1.4 gpm with a 3.0 nozzle I noticed a big difference going to the Active at 1.9 to 2.0 gpm. Didn't have to make those second passes, but we all feel things different. I know for foam cannons it makes a big difference, but not everybody is into foam. Thx for the feedback.
@@CarsWithKeav I can see why people would think that especially with all of the TH-cam hype being made but if you really think about it try pouring out less than half gallon of water over a minute time. It is a minimal amount of water difference
16.5 wide, 8.5 tall and 6.5 deep if looking at it from the side. That’s the best I could do it’s so curved in spots. That is from the hose inlet to the nozzle holders in the back.
@@CarsWithKeav you think the comet is worth the $$ or getting a active is all you need? I want best of both worlds, high pressure and gpm but I don't got it $$$ like that either
@@WhiteBeardDetail I have not tested or watched a video to know it’s true numbers. If you are looking for PSI higher than 1200 Active won’t get you it safely under 15 Amps.
Discount code has been all used up. Will update here if we get anymore.

Most people keep their VE52/2.0 when upgrading or give it to somebody. I have not seen many for sale used.
Haha the end was amazing, we feel you with all the bloopers!
Everyday I tell myself no bloopers today and it hasn’t happened yet.

Good info. I just bought the CAT 1800. Putting it to use on a few rides today
Very nice!
@@CarsWithKeav was upgrading from a 1700psi 1.3gpm karcher. No contest! Loved it!
Great video, bloopers were funny 😂 they’re both great pressure washers!
Thanks
Both amazing products by Active👌🏽, bloopers were gold 😂
Time for you to get one.
The bloopers 😂😂 I think both pressure washers are a safe debt by these test results. I think it just come down to size and convenience.
Both are great and actually the cheaper VE52 would be for most people. 2.0 is a niche product.
Awesome video.

Keav do you still have the Active 2.0? What 50ft hose would you recommend for it since the Uberflex seems to be a big no go with this machine?

If that is the case it’s got to be water quality or the soap dilution or the type of soap. What soap and dilution are you using.

Does anyone know the dimensions ?

Which on n off valve is better?
Not sure exactly which kind you are asking about. Ones for the pvc or for a garden hose?
Active 2.0 vs the comet?
If I could afford one I would try. 😂 The setup I could build with the cost of the Comet.
