For sure not meant to be dragged out each wash. Needs to be mounted somewhere. Weighs even more if you are carrying the unit, electric cable and it’s full of water.
Great review Keav!! The AR630TSS is definitely on my short list. I was waiting on the Active 2.3, but the AR might be a better tried and true unit. Keep the great video coming!
You content is excellent! I've looked at all the others and you are definitely one of the three best sources of solid test information. Thank you! I particularly like your cart design info--it's been a good starting point for my own design.
I was close to getting the AR or waiting for the Active 2.3. At the end of the day, I couldn't justify the cost, since this is just a hobby for me. I ended up buying the Active 2.0 (haven't used it yet) and I think that'll be a massive upgrade over what I had. I may end up getting the Active foam cannon though, which is also hard to justify since I have the MJJC... but $90 hurts less than $780. Great stuff bro!!
2.0 is great for the enthusiast. Doesn’t get that volume abuse and the numbers are great. The Big boo line is coming out with a $550 induction motor unit that looks like the 2.0.
@@CarsWithKeav I used it for the first time last night... loved it. Yes it has the high pitched whine but it's WAAAY better than my Ryobi. Active needs to get you their foam cannon for review !!
I had at one point had the AR630, Karcher and Kranzle K1600 (discontinued i think), after a year gave away the karcher and sold the AR630 im not a fan of ceramic plungers that the AR uses, it didnt like the sudden increase in temp so when hit the gun i notice a leak and pressure way low come to find out the ceramic plunger was crack, fixed it and sold and went with Kranzle 499 tst and just recently got the kws700 which is ok. heavy and takes up space, out all the them id take my 13 year old K1600 anyday, its just simple plug in and play, its not a non stop machine which after having the tst and timed stop machine it didn't sway me from giving it up and go all total stop machine ,its whisper quiet aT @60+ db than other pressure washer ive used and also i ran it with and without water and this thing just keep on running lol. I do my own maintenance and Parts are NOW easy to get thanks to Dirt killer for stocking up the consumables. I would say the AR630 is not a slouch either its good machine just make sure u ramp it up and gradually run cold to hot or vice versa…on a side note Kranzle are also rated up to 140 degrees fahrenheit.
I have never used any temp water that is considered hot or even over 90 degrees. I know when you get into higher temps it puts more strain in the unit. They do make a hot water AR630 TSS wonder how that would do with the higher temps. Thanks for all the great info you provided here.
I use this pressure washer everyday about 2-4 cars . Iv had it for almost 2 years! This is my second one . The first one i baught broke right after the warranty , but i did lack oil changes on it. So make sure to change your oil and youll be good!
I feel the oil changes and maybe a once a year tear down is needed to rebuild. I own multiple BMW's so I already have the mindset of fixing things before they break. LOL
Picked one up during a Black Friday sale. Weather is getting warmer so can't wait to try it. I decided on the 4.0 nozzle. Wanted 2.0 or under GSM for my DI system. Great video!
any recommendations where I could buy foam cannon orifices 1.25 and higher having a hard time finding them thank you for making this video. This makes Make my decision easier to make. I am going to buy the AR 630 TSS
They must have updated the plug recently. My AR630 TSS that was bought a couple years ago from The Clean Garage has the 2 vertical "15 amp outlet style" prongs. Obviously I only use it on a 20 amp outlet/circuit but I guess they made it a little more idiot-proof.
Yeah, lots of complaints, but they created there own now because people don’t know what to do with the new plug. It pulls a lot of amps and it has been known to trip some 20AMP. Mainly the very sensitive built in arc protection ones.
Been eyeing this unit for a long time since Obsessed first reviewed it. Did you notice a difference at all in amp draw switching out the foam cannon orifices? Using a 5.0 nozzle to get below 15 amps is awesome, wondering if changing the orifice would bring it down as well when using a foam cannon. Awesome videos as always!
I actually just tested yesterday with all 5 pressure washer in this price range for a comparison video. 4.5 gets you just under 15 amps like 14.7 and a 1.5 orifice works and foams well at 13 amps.
Interested in your thoughts of this PW in a mobile rig? Being that it draws higer amps, would almost say that an inverter generator is also required just for this unit as some customers won't have a 20 amp circuit available. Yes, we should have an inverter anyways just in case customers don't want us plugging in to their power sources, but this PW especially should have its own power source. Aside from that, would you recommend this setup for a mobile detailing operation?
I know many mobile detailers running this in a mobile setup. Probably one of the most popular ones used for it. Check out Imjoshv on TH-cam as well he runs a mobile detail business and has them. He has done several generator videos showing them working with his ar630.
Absolutely, I bought and reviewed this just to make sure I know the benchmark in this category of pressure washers. I bought the Comet 1700 as well to know the competition. Just waiting on the Big Boi for pre-orders and should have a review unit coming from Active. Either way I am getting them review product or not. I’ll be buying two of the Big Boi products the duo and the pro.
Keav, i'm considering buying this pressure washer in a little while to replace my 7 year old Sun Joe SPX3000. QUESTION: Would you recommend using dedicated hardware to bolt down this washer to a stainless shelf so it has no way of possibly vibrating off or just falling off my accident ??? Thoughts ?
It is recommended to anchor it in some way I myself live dangerously and rely on the rubber feet to keep it from moving plus the way my hoses are routed keeps it in place as well.
Thank you for the outlet explanation… I felt so dumb, we just got a professional grade pressure washer at work… I looked at the GFCI and plug.. and was like damn.. am I going to have to change this or what… quickly realized why certain outlets have that T- cutout… one of those moments where I was like “damn, this entire time and never why the outlets are shaped differently… SMH..
It does not self prime you would need to be the opposite so the water tank is higher creating a gravity feed. The feed needs a good bit of flow to keep the machine supplied. Most use a pump to feed this one from a water tank.
Excellent video! So I’m looking to upgrade my pressure washer and I’m debating between the Bigboi pro, active 2.3 and the AR630 TSS. I’ve seen all the videos now of your reviews on them. Which one do you did you like the best and would you recommend one over the other? I also have the amp setup for any of them, so not a factor there. Thank you!
Honestly overall best to me is the AR630. I chose the 2.3 on my shelf simply because it has the best numbers. It might be getting replaced by the big AR RCA3-pro once I add a third support to my shelf.
@ ok. Thank you for your opinion. The AR is the one I keep leaning towards the most. It seems like the numbers for the AR aren’t far off from the active 2.3 to me. But I seem to like the overall specs of the AR even tho it has more amp draw, which I can manage that to keep them lower with no problem. Id have to look at the big AR pro tho just to check it out. But thanks again for all you do. Love your content!
I love how quickly it ramps down (TSS). I’m planning to upgrade my pressure washer from my Ryobi. I was thinking Active but I noticed the TSS shutoff last for a few seconds. This appears to be immediately. I have to do more research. Thanks for the review.
You got the Active 2.3 coming in a few weeks which will have this kind of TSS. The 2.0 does have a little ramp up and down for sure. Big Boi will be having two induction pressure washers ranging from $500 to $750 in the coming weeks as well.
@@ShineAndPreserveDetailing only thing Active has going for it is weight and 15amp with comparable performance to the 17amp Big Boi. We will soon know. Pre-orders for both will be within the next week or so.
I have kept track of the upcoming pressure washers. Thank you for mentioning it. I started snooping for information. I’m not in a rush so I’m looking forward hear more about them. Thanks.
This video is very good. I really need help with my 630. It just won't run. Keeps tripping the breaker and I've used different tips including 5.0 etc and it just isn't working for me.
I had issues with my breaker because it was a arc and gfci combo and was too sensitive. I changed out that 20A and switched it out for a 30A and had no problems. It uses a good bit of energy to get going.
It’s on Amazon here is the link it can go horizontal and vertical. It has been the best investment I have made for the videos. Nice casters too with locks. amzn.to/3VrC4sV
When running the foaming cannon should I have the regulator turned to the max? Using it with the metered tip on the BOSS cannon with 1.25 mm orifice. 40 PSI from the faucet
@@CarsWithKeav great thanks for the advice! Are you aware of an aftermarket orifice that would work with the boss cannon at 1.5 mm? I fortunately do have a 20 amp circuit at least
@ thank you for the personalized advice! I was running the 630 with the red shipping oil plug for a year but just for personal use. I hope I didn’t damage it :(
@ You probably didn’t. They used to only be shipped that way, but some people had leaking issues due to high oil pressure so they added the breather cap. They can’t ship it like that because if it ever gets tipped over the oil will leak out into the box.
I’m with you on preferring a 25 over a 40 nozzle. I have a low gpm pw though and as you said with this 40 might make more sense on this beast. Be interesting to see if move to it it. Nice get. These are definitely great units and seem to make more sense from a value performance perspective. As nice as the Kranzle is it only makes sense to me from a price no object or for someone using it a ton. Given what your doing now I think you could probably justify either one. I can’t justify either as mine isn’t wall mounted. Since I have to break down and set it up evertime a garden hose and Gilmour foam gun make more sense for a weekly maintenance wash when the car isn’t very dirty.
Nothing wrong with a Gilmour and hose. Maybe try an Eley sprayer it is very good, but expensive. Give great pressure for rinsing and awesome quick connect ability to work with the Gilmour. I’ll have a video out in a week or so.
@@CarsWithKeav I just looked at it. That would be convenient to have a quick connect for just the nozzle and pop the foam gun onto it. I’ll have to see it in action in your video. The way i do it now is I have a shut off valve at the end of the hose with a quick connect. Then I just swap between a sprayer and the foam gun. I’ve used Melnor multi sprayers for years. I love being able to switch between full, shower, jet and flood for certain parts of the engine.
@@seashackf1 I really like the Orbit sprayer, but I just stick to Shower mostly as I use it for the spotless rinse. It has no flow limit when you just want tons of water.
@@CarsWithKeav the orbit looks very similar to the the Melnor so it’s just just personal preference at that point. Either way, they’re both reasonably priced and more than get the job done. 👍
Do you have a way to test for starting amps and running amps? AR claims the starting watts is 8400 watts… I don’t so that being possible. I have it set up in a detail trailer and have had nothing but problems trying to get it to work consistently. I have it running on a 30A breaker on the generator. I would buy a tool to test that but I don’t have a dedicated 20 amp breaker available to me to test…
I’m trying to get a meter to test I don’t have one that works with the 20AMP plug on the machine. I do know Clean garage says you need 7200 watts. Info For Mobile Detailer Setups: AR Tri-Plex Pumps must be gravity fed when being fed from a water tank The tank should be AT LEAST 12" above the pump The tank should be as close to the pump as possible The inlet hose diameter should be doubled in size when gravity feeding (1.5") Generator Requirements: To properly power a commercial pressure washer long term we suggest using the following formula when determining your generator wattage: AMPS X VOLTS X 3 = At least 7200 running watts
Good comparison! I was torn between the AR and the Kranzle… ultimately ended up going Kranzle due to repair info and parts more easily available in the US and on TH-cam. The AR seemed tough to find basic parts to rebuild when compared to the other. Would be an expensive video, but comparison between the two would be neat to see.
The AR now seems to have readily available parts through many outlets. I’m Afraid to review the Kranzle as I know It won’t put out these kinds of performance numbers and the new ones coming look to have even better numbers. I might not be so excited just do to the price. Between Zoro and Clean garage they seem to have most of the parts now.
@@YuriTarded-hf1nv They are now for sure. A few years ago a little harder to get. I just hate they only carry a one year warranty. Seems to be the only downfall other than it pulls a lot of Amps.
@@CarsWithKeav fair enough. The OG model I just tested and I got 2.11GPM at 1200PSI which is awesome. The reason I pulled the trigger on that instead of waiting for the active 2.3 or other new models is the track record. For 500-800$ I don’t really want to be the beta tester. At $350 for the active 2.0 it’s well worth being the beta tester for the pressure washer.
@@bobekdj the og model? I’m guessing you meant kranzle 1322? I wonder how you got 2.1 gpm at 1200 psi when they tested it at 1.9gpm @1000 psi? With the higher psi you used your gpm should be lower than the 1.9gpm but somehow your tested gpm is higher?
I mean you can keep going bigger in the nozzles and it will go down u til the pump just stops running. I myself don’t know what that is though. They don’t state in their specs either.
Yup, there are many 15amp outlets with 20 amp breakers behind them and that works, but a 20 amp outlet has that plug design. To get around this many will change the GFCI plug end to be a 15amp then change their breaker behind it to be 20 amp.
I bought one last summer from ebay and it came with standard US 3 prong. I'm running a Predator 3500 generator, should that be enough power? I had no problems with the AR when I first started using it but on my last mobile detail of the year it would trip the generator and power down. I've heard other people had problems with this and they converted their 3 prong into the RV type plug yours came with and shortened the cord. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I was using a 1/4 in Uberflex hose at the time. ps your channel is awesome and informative, best of luck
It pulls some amps that’s for sure close to 19. I think they change the cord after so many people were tripping there 15amp breakers with it. I do know Clean Garage states you need 7200 watts to safely run it. Since it’s induction it will pull lots of starting power each TSS cycle.
As a Brit who has had the plastic 'quick connects' as you call them for the past 30+ years. The plastic ones last longer than the brass. Usually the brass start leaking or are hard to remove.
Maybe they are made better there. The plastic ones here in the U.S. break easily. I could start a recycling plant which is why I stick to stainless steel now.
@@mulhallsj yeah I heard they used to ship with a regular 15amp plug and too many people complained about it so they changed the plug. It for sure runs high as it was tripping my 20 Amp built in arc detection breaker. They are very sensitive so had to switch to just a normal 20AMP and it never tripped after that.
if you were to buy a pressure washer today for home use washing vehicles would you go with the big boi pro or the ar630tss? I do have the dedicated 20 amp and $ just weighing my options as far as value
Purchased one and received it 2 weeks ago and right out of the box after hooking it up it was leaking from the pump area on the unit. After contacting the company ar blue clean which is where i bought it from directly they seemed to act as if it was my fault "sounds like the pump has froze up and cracked due to improper storage how did you store the unit?" When i had stated in the original message to them that it was leaking immediately before even pressurizing the unit. Has been 2 weeks now still waiting for "the next step" how long am i supposed to be expected to wait to use my $1000 Purchase? Not impressed with the companys customer service or the quality so far.. not a small leak either
That really sucks! Do you think it was damaged in shipping by being dropped? Not exactly the response I would want for sure, but based on some other comments is inline with what they have said. Hope it gets resolved for you. There is always “The Chargeback” as the final option.
@@CarsWithKeavI have been using pressure washers and repairing them myself for atleast 10 years and after opening the pump up my honest opinion is the pump looked "used" parts looked warn inside, and the leak is internal. I don't think it would be possible for whatever is wrong with the unit to have happened during shipping. I have used it and am otherwise impressed it's just annoying to have a gallon of water inside of my business every 20 ish minutes. Still waiting on a response from the company wondering if I will ever get one.. will update when resolved..
Did you ever receive a response from AR Blue? I am ready to order an ar630 tss this week. I know the machine is great but I'm a little concerned about the poor customer service you experienced. I did call them today to ask some questions and the guy on the phone was really helpful.
@@modernredneck9862update?? I’m in the dilemma of a kranzle or AR and having a hard time justifying the extra 650CAD for the kranzle. But after seeing this it might be worth it
@@CarsWithKeav I do hood cleaning and I have been looking at different solutions for hot water. I am surprised to find out that the Ryobi EZ Clean gun can take hot water. But this pump has been on my radar just hard to justify when I have 5k to 7k hot water units that do the job.
@@basstruckman AT those prices they have to be some beefy units. Ryobi EZ Clean is so versatile use mine with water out of my hot water heater so not really hot just 135 degrees, but is great for cleaning bird poop on my mailbox and things like that. I hook it up to a 3 gallon backpack tank and go to town.
I think it’s great I just can’t justify the cost from a hobbyist perspective. Plus the AR has way better numbers performance wise. Kranzle struggles to get to 2.0 gpm and AR just cruising at 2.2 gpm.
The sticker on the unit for serial number on mine says made in Italy. Now if you bought one with the plastic gun and hose then I guarantee those are made in china.
@CarsWithKeav I can't seem to comment on your other review. The Italian AR website has an updated 630 unit that's rated at 600L/hr (2.64gpm). Italy uses 220v/50hz
Great review! I noticed you recommended staying with a 3/8" hose (& not using a 1/4" hose). I pre-ordered a Bigboi Pro. Would you recommend the same? I am trying to decide if I can/should use my uberflex 50' / 1/4", or spend the money to pickup a 3/8" hose. Appreciate your thoughts/suggestions.
My experience 3/8 hoses on the higher GPM machines the start/stop seems to work way better. Especially on the Active 2.0 my 1/4 uberflex it takes 2 seconds longer to stop and it surges every now and then. 3/8 hose never have those problems. I just prefer them especially the Blushield and Gray ones on Amazon as they have a smaller diameter than say a Kobrajet.
Thanks for sharing the technical aspects between the 2 size hoses, and how electric pw might respond/react. Upgrading from my gas pw, so a little bit of a learning curve. Last question .. Which 3/8" hose would you suggest? Uberflex has a 50 foot 3/8" hose. I don't think I need a heavy comercial grade hose, like what Bigboi is selling. Just need something to enjoy using while I wash my car.
@@HeadShot1171 I really like the Blueshield Kevlar hoses. Lightest 3/8 you can get and a much smaller outer diameter than most all 3/8 hoses. I just finally finishing my setup today and my brand new AR630TSS runs continuously. All the rest of my setup is top end components. Using ACTIVE Premium Short Pressure Washer Gun mated to a BluShield Aramid "Kevlar" Braided Rubber Pressure Washer Hose. Running it through a brand new CR Spotless-20. Not a single leak anywhere. Plugged into a newly install 240v receptacle. According to the pressure gauge at the nozzle, I am getting good 1000 psi pressure at the gun using a Mosmatic 5.0 orifice Nozzle. My incoming water flow source supplies over 5 gpm. I can hear it making a clicking noise when I pull and release the trigger however the pump itself runs continuously. I've only run about 20 gallon through it but am afraid to use it as I don't want to damage something or have it overheat. Help Keav, what am I missing? Any ideas?
Have you tried to use a nozzle that has more pressure such as a 4.5 or 4.0? Is this in the U.S. since it is a 240v? Try using the pressure regulator knob and adjust up and down to see if the pressure switch engages. Make sure it is the TSS model by seeing if it has the plastic triangle Hooked up to the outlet and power cable running to the motor. Trying to think of anything else you have all the best stuff and it should be turning off and not running. There is a 630 unit that runs all the time, but you said it’s the TSS model. Is it like a surge where the motor and pump are running or it is just idling?
@@CarsWithKeav I am in the United States. Sorry, I misspoke before when I said 240v, I meant to say dedicated 20 amp circuit with that special receptable. I ordered the AR | Blue Clean AR630TSS-1900 PSI Car Detailing Pressure Washer With Total Stop System which reads right on the CarSuppliesWarehouse DOT Com email receipt. Also tried the Mckillans 4.0 and MTM 4.5 nozzle, still doesn't shut off. It is basically always-on idling constantly and gets slightly louder when I pull the trigger. I do hear an audible click when depress and release the trigger. Same clicking I have heard in your videos. There is nothing definite that reads TSS on the outside of the unit. It does have the power cord running to the motor. Not sure what you mean by "plastic triangle". It does have the plastic cover over the Green power toggle switch. I will contact CarSuppliesWarehouse tomorrow. This is baffling
@@CarsWithKeav Sorry, I meant to say it is plugged into a 20 amp dedicated circuit (not 240v). It is definitely the TSS model. I also tried 4.0 and 4.5 nozzles. It sound like it basically idles and then ramps up a bit when I plug the trigger. I can hear the audible clock it make when I pull and release the trigger. The pressure is coming out of the nozzle just fine. It just won't stop running.
Worked with the Tech Support folks a Blue Clean and it was determined to be a faulty Micro-Switch. Easy fix. New switch is one the way. These folks were a pleasure to work with.
Happy Easter! Uberflex(1/4) vs Kobrajet(3/8)? Asking cause been doing a little research and being seen to think it doesn’t make a difference under 100 feet.
Depends on the machine to me. If it’s an AR630 or anything 2 actual GPM I prefer 3/8 especially at 100 ft. 1/4 hoses I tend to use with like Ryobi and other ones like that. Even the A tube 2.0 for me takes longer to stop and sometimes surges on a 1/4 hose, but never does it on a 3/8. Kobrajet is also a huge difference in price. Most companies won’t products a 1/4 hose over 50ft as well. I don’t think Uberflex does they have a 3/8 hose they though.
How long is your hose? I have this pressure washer and I just wall mounted it got the hose real quarter inch. It’s 65 foot and my pressure is noticeably less.
50ft 3/8 inch hose. Pressure washer like this I think 3/8 hose is the way to go. 1/4 inch hose over 50 ft will start to get pressure drop. Depends on the hose reel as well some use very small diameter fittings that could restrict flow.
Active 2.3 if you don’t mind something a little louder if not hold out for the second batch of Big Boi Pro’s they are holding them to make sure the initial issues are taken care of.
No 110v electric pressure washer will be as powerful as even the weakest gas pressure washer. These are for car washing which a gas pressure washer is too powerful for most of the time unless you dial it’s power back some.
@@CarsWithKeav Thank you so much, my brother reply fast reply. @@Shane7son I know many who run these in their mobile setups and they run all day long without issues. Most of them don’t do fleet washing it would be one customer and then on to the next one so there is some time between vehicles. Not many vehicles in one spot. I would say the gas powered ones are probably built better for that type of repetitive washing. Most fleet vehicles also are usually wrapped or most owners don’t care about the paint as much so a gas powered would be more efficient just because of the pressure and flow it can do removing a lot of road film without soap.
@@mulhallsj It actually does very well on that shelf. The weight keeps the vibration down. I put a topper on it so it has a nice flat surface to sit on.
These mid grade pressure washers are great! Definitely an upgrade to the standard Home Depot special without being a Kranzle. But the first time I used a Kranzle I was shocked haha.
I’m sure it’s great just the cost to a hobbyist even for the AR is pretty steep. Mobile setup I would for sure run a Kranzle or AR630 and have a backup of the opposite brand ready to go.
It’s hard to describe with words how much more enjoyable the Ryobi to Kranzle experience was. I was truly like a kid on Christmas the first time I used the new one
I just watched an AMMO video on this same pressure washer and he said it's right around 10oz of oil...just so people have a rough estimate/expectation level
It is and when we review all the new ones come out I think they will make this an even better value. I don’t think the new ones will be so easily serviceable, but they do have better warranties.
That is awesome it didn’t get damaged did it hit on the pump side or the motor side just curious I think from that distance the weight do the motor would have it fall that way.
@@CarsWithKeav From the pump side. I didn't have a hose reel at the time, just the hose attached directly. Yanked too hard when I though there was slack... the pump side got dragged first.
I don't mind paying a higher price, IF the parts are easily sourcable and replaceable. Basicallly, I buy good things so that they last, and when they fail I can find parts and fix it.
Never going to get the rated pressure with a 3/8" hose. Unit is sized for 5/16" - 3.5 nozzle that will give you rated 1400 psi. Use 5/16" and if you want less pressure go up in nozzle size.
@@ply17410 I see what you are saying about that being the hose size it was rated for, but I have never had hose size change PSI in any significant way, but to make sure I’m not misremembering I took out the 630 and used a 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 all at 50ft in length and all were within 5 PSi of each other with the same nozzle. With the 20+ pressure washers I have tested the only things I have seen to change PSI is nozzle size, voltage, and length of hose. Based on hose diameter once you get into that 100ft+ range the larger diameter hoses do better at limiting pressure drop. Voltage is a big one as in the U.S. depending where you live you could have as much as 125v or as low as 116v. My friend gets 50 to 100 psi more than me because he is blessed with 122v most of the time. I’m around 116v so I won’t get full potential of the machine. This is what I’ve experienced and not trying to say you are wrong just I have not seen hose size impact PSI. I have seen hose size for sure mess with pressure switches though and ramp up time.

Just used mine for 1st time this weekend. Power is great. Not loud at all. Fantastic machine
That is awesome! It is an amazing machine.
That is a great idea! Dialing in the nozzle to the gpm of your DI instead of dialing back the incoming flow from your house.
any recommendations where I could buy foam cannon orifices 1.25 and higher having a hard time finding them thank you for making this video. This makes Make my decision easier to make. I am going to buy the AR 630 TSS
You can’t go wrong with this pressure washer. A good size for this machine is the 1.4 orifice. amzn.to/3MGsywp
@@CarsWithKeav that's awesome news. Appreciate all the testing you do on these units.
I assume you will review BiGBoy and Active 2.3, which I'm looking forward to because I want to upgrade my pressure washer. Thanks for your hard work.
I thought the same when I installed my 20 amp outlet. I’m like that’s a weird prong then when getting the AR630 I figured it out. 🤣
I want this pressure wash but unfortunately I only have 15 amp circuits available
The new 2.3 and Big Boi pro coming will be 15amp machines. I just pre-ordered the big boi to review.
Will this pump from an external tank if mointed above the tank?
It does not self prime you would need to be the opposite so the water tank is higher creating a gravity feed. The feed needs a good bit of flow to keep the machine supplied. Most use a pump to feed this one from a water tank.
@@CarsWithKeavThank you for the info. This made my decision of what pressure washer to order.
@@CarsWithKeavI’m stoked for the big boi, they are definitely going to give Active 2.3 a run for their business. Can’t wait for this summer
@@ShineAndPreserveDetailing only thing Active has going for it is weight and 15amp with comparable performance to the 17amp Big Boi. We will soon know. Pre-orders for both will be within the next week or so.

When running the foaming cannon should I have the regulator turned to the max? Using it with the metered tip on the BOSS cannon with 1.25 mm orifice. 40 PSI from the faucet
I always have the regulator at max. I would prefer a 1.5 size on this unit, but you can get by with a 1.25 since it requires a 20 amp anyways.

Great idea to pre-dilute Incredible Suds, it’s such a pain to deal with in small amounts!

@ Dang that sucks. Spring will be here soon!
Info For Mobile Detailer Setups:
AR Tri-Plex Pumps must be gravity fed when being fed from a water tank
The tank should be AT LEAST 12" above the pump
The tank should be as close to the pump as possible
The inlet hose diameter should be doubled in size when gravity feeding (1.5")
Generator Requirements:
To properly power a commercial pressure washer long term we suggest using the following formula when determining your generator wattage:
AMPS X VOLTS X 3 = At least 7200 running watts
Good comparison! I was torn between the AR and the Kranzle… ultimately ended up going Kranzle due to repair info and parts more easily available in the US and on TH-cam. The AR seemed tough to find basic parts to rebuild when compared to the other. Would be an expensive video, but comparison between the two would be neat to see.
The AR now seems to have readily available parts through many outlets. I’m
Afraid to review the Kranzle as I know
It won’t put out these kinds of performance numbers and the new ones coming look to have even better numbers. I might not be so excited just do to the price. Between Zoro and Clean garage they seem to have most of the parts now.
I would say AR parts are just as accessible if not easier to get compared to kranzle.
Random question but what’s the lowest PSI it can run?
I mean you can keep going bigger in the nozzles and it will go down u til the pump just stops running. I myself don’t know what that is though. They don’t state in their specs either.
I didn’t know the 20amp plug identification tip you gave. Great to know actually!
@@CarsWithKeav appreciate the response man
As a Brit who has had the plastic 'quick connects' as you call them for the past 30+ years. The plastic ones last longer than the brass. Usually the brass start leaking or are hard to remove.

The pressure is coming out of the nozzle just fine. It just won't stop running.
@@GameOverSqueeze Sounds like possibly a faulty pressure switch. Have not heard of that being a normal issue with these.

50ft 3/8 inch hose. Pressure washer like this I think 3/8 hose is the way to go. 1/4 inch hose over 50 ft will start to get pressure drop. Depends on the hose reel as well some use very small diameter fittings that could restrict flow.

Most fleet vehicles also are usually wrapped or most owners don’t care about the paint as much so a gas powered would be more efficient just because of the pressure and flow it can do removing a lot of road film without soap.
@@CarsWithKeav thank you
Great review! Thank you for making that investment for your videos!!
You’re Welcome!
I love mine. The sound of the cheaper stuff drives me up a wall, but the AR just sounds like money. I can't say enough good things about it.
Yeah, I like this sound way better. We shall see what kind of vibration we get on the shelf soon.
Not "that" shelf, right? @@CarsWithKeav
Thanks for the great information! Hopefully it helps anybody asking this question.
lol thumbnail poses xD... Great info on that pressure washer, 750 is worth it.
It is and when we review all the new ones come out I think they will make this an even better value. I don’t think the new ones will be so easily serviceable, but they do have better warranties.
The trademark of the nozzle pls.
The test nozzles are custom using 1/4 Quick connects and nozzles from Northern Tool. The Blue nozzle guard is an MTM Aqualine.
This bad boy is awesome. Maybe you'll win the Kranzle from Eddie and can test that 😆That is another $800-$900...ooof
Eddie says my money is too different so I don’t qualify for the giveaway. 🤣🤣
Is this ceramic drive or wobble drive
Crankshaft Plunger Pump with Ceramic Pistons.
@@CarsWithKeav I should have said axeil cam
This thing is a tank. It fell from a 6ft high shelf by accident, while running... Not a dent, still works like a champ.
@@felipe_silve Built like a tank for sure. Hate see what and active 2.3 pump would like like after that fall.
Wow, u almost had me looking this up to buy it. Haha great, informative video!
It is a great machine, but a big investment. It is a proven workhorse in the industry. The 20AMP is really the only drawback.
I have one. It’s been flawless
Same for me so far!
What orifice in your foam cannon?
@@imDnice 5.0 nozzle and 1.25 orifice on foam cannon. Must have a 20amp circuit
Did he say BEST 👀....... 🍿 .... ALL IN!
So far! We got more to go and pre-order just started in the Big Boi.
This is the best. Nothing compares to it
Agreed, nothing I have seen so far.
That thing is so awesome!!
It sure is!
I don't mind paying a higher price, IF the parts are easily sourcable and replaceable. Basicallly, I buy good things so that they last, and when they fail I can find parts and fix it.
That is the mindset to have if you can afford it for sure!
That's a nice shirt ya got there!
Gives me super powers! Problem is Rinseless wash seems to be its kryptonite. 🤣
You going to switch from 2.0
I am for now until the 2.3 and Big Boi comes out then it’s which ever is the best goes on the shelf.
@@CarsWithKeav WashR pro looks 👌
@@bbqguy6538 I just pre-ordered it and they say shipping early to mid April. About the same timeframe as the 2.3. Should be a fun few weeks.
@CarsWithKeav Yup, I just did the same.. used imjoshv discount code
Yup, did the same.
Thanks for sharing Kev....🙏
You’re Welcome!
You the man !
Thanks 🙏
Needs a cart to take it around.
It for sure does. Heavy.
Like to see active 2.5 will be like
In a few weeks we will soon see. I’ll put out a video as soon as I get it.
@@CarsWithKeav Active 2.5? did he mean 2.3?
@@mmazurkiewicz639 I’m sure he did.
Can we get more content Lol 😂
Every Monday at noon! 🤣
Whoo i can't afford that
If I didn’t have this TH-cam channel I couldn’t either. Well maybe I could, but I won’t eat canned chili everyday to get one. 🤣
what's going on at the end of this video ???????????????????
Just some bloopers I assume is what you are referring to.
nice !!!
Thanks!
Nice

Everything is more difficult with that Camera in the other hand. 🤣
