We have been tolerant towards all of them but these days all you find is world trying to portray Hindus as fanatics or radicals since we started to reply back to some who are desperately trying to break this country
My Grandfather used to tell me how Indians had to get an Official Certificate allowing them to sit on a chair in front of a British Officer/Gentleman. Funny how I was just enjoying a beer this afternoon with a British colleague. The patriotism is passed down from generations, every family has a story. It's an emotion. Our forefathers have gone through a lot to reach where we are now.
That's something we never noticed, We're going to be just better than those Britishers who looted everything from us and made us start from scratch again
India is 5000 years old civilisation. For most part of history india has been the one with the highest economy and leader in science and technology, we are today now where as compared to past and much is needed to be done

Hey Pierre! Back with some great content, i just love your interactions with locals, always really entertaining such scenes. And let me see now, you being viral on Tiktok soon! Lol.
There are all religions in Ladakh because the majority is Buddhist, if it was the peaceful community like in Kashmir all other religions would cease to exist . Amazing that you all noticed that .
Government office, schools are the places where people have to attend morning flag hoisting compulsorily, for rest all of them it is more of a choice. Independence day is actually a tribute to all those who fought and gave up their life for freedom, it is also a day when democracy got reinstated in India. Ideologically, India is the oldest democracy that started around 700AD atleast on record barring islamic and english autocracy of 400 years in the middle.

Lol Pierre! From your past interactions I learnt you're not a museum guy, so what took you to the Leh museum? Given your love for interacting with local people, doesn't history inspire you, when it presents a peek into how life was centuries before in the country that you happen to be visiting now. European history, especially in terms of art, is the most fascinating and incredibly documented. Perhaps, you should start there. Like your love for "hues" of formidable mountains, you might appreciate the varied strokes of the brush from different centuries from cultures you are more closely familiar with. Also, in a museum, always focus on which year a particular artefact is from and the fact that it survived the winds of change through years to meet your eyes now, in the age of internet and GoPros!

If something isn't done to reverse that trend they will also cease to exist and all evidence will eventually be removed like the 4000 cave temples in Bamiyan in Afghanistan.... The church bells are not annoying as at least they tell you the time, as Indians are almost always behind schedule 😊. The Islamic calls to prayer, five times a day from very early morning, don't let you sleep..🥱. Even in Saudi Arabia and Arab countries, they are beginning to impose noise restrictions on mosques, but India is too scared to.
