Even though I really loved Tommy's video the most, I think Stephans video deserves to win this challenge! With having more limitations and just one light source + always the same shot, the final video was edited in a clever way and more creative :D Amazing video guys!!
I actually really enjoyed Steven’s sequence! He used the darkness to isolate Tommy in the frame which I thought looked really cool. Sometimes not everything on screen has to be well lit.
1 - Tommy - had story, great mood and nicely done 2 - Stephen - great lighting, awesome flares from the sun, but limited story 3 - Mitch - just random shots of a motorbike. It started great, but then became repetitive and could have had an end destination where a person got off the bike and did something? :) In general, you guys are awesome and I get a lot of inspiration from you. You definitely deserve way more than 100K subs. :)
Lighting is everything. Limitations make you grow. I seriously want this lens now with my BMPCC 6k. So thanks for all of you taking on the challenge. I pick no one because everyone did a great job in dealing with what you were given.
@@dpc4548 That's what I thought when I went to the kick starter but if you click on the perk, "Sony, Canon, Nikon users please remember to select correspond add-on options for the adapter ring of 35mm anamorphic lens." When you go to buy there's a $10 add on for EF Mount adapter ring :)
I think it's harder to tell the difference between the 3 of you than it is the output from the lens. All are great but Stephens has the edge. But what you have shown is the versatility and quality of the output which is really the aim of the video. So well done you guys. I'm new to this, so can you share the focus gears and mechanical bits you recommend to make this work? That would be helpful. I should add I have just bought a FujiFil XT-4
Stephen >Tommy > Mitchell. Stephen even w/o the best of lighting conditions made the footage look sooo cinematic!! Well done guysss! Great Video overallll
Good job all around. The purpose was to showcase the lens, job which you guys did perfectly. The competition was the bonus. 1. Tommy; 2 Stephen and 3 Mitch.
I honestly liked the night one the best, the daylight one was the same shot over and over at times and the last one was like dope shot without a real connection I felt like at least. Overall for the available time all three were sequences amazing and I hope to see more of this kind of videos in the future :)
Honestly I liked the motorcycle one just because I prefer videos with more action, and I'm a sucker for a perfectly tracked shot of a vehicle in motion! 😍
dang the bokeh is nice!would love to shoot with my friends Z6 in a dim hall with 1 light source and a smoke machine and of course at least 2 pretty looking actresses/photo models!!!
I don't even care about the lens or shit, I spent this video appreciating the beauty of the place they are shooting in. I wish I had some place like that near me.
WOOOOH! Another great video guys! Tommy's editing was DOPE, but I personally loved the night shots better because of that bokeh and atmosphere! Keep up the work brothers!
All three of you guys are extremely talented, but, I loved Tommy's footage and edit. BTW - I just ordered a SIRUI 35mm Anamorphic Lens, thank you for the inspiration!
You guys need to get a heliopan ir cut for the bmpcc4k, the ir pollution on some of the footage looks pretty bad especially with the black fabrics, and the highlight roll off with the grades seems a bit harsh, but overall really great shots by you guys, especially when considering they were pulled off in less then 30 minutes!
Love your content. it is super fun to watch and very creative. :) 1.Tommy 2.Stephen & Michell Tommy has great concept and different scenario he's try to get as much shot as he think he'll need. Stephen the only downside of his concept is the time if he was shot on blue hour it will be a lot more better. Mitchell well he's not bad but if comparing with others his shot look like only one point of view. it was like he's only site in the car and shoot. after I watch your clip I really want this lens.
Tommy definitely had the best-looking video and the best concept!
He is probably their best cinematographer out of the 3
Well that's what he specialises in, so I would expect so

Please shoot in 24 fps at 1/48 to show off the cinematic type feel of the lens....
I thought I was the only one
@@anatolikalyuk Literally couldn't tell they shot on anamorphic.
Rightttttt my exact same thoughts. So much potential out of it
I don’t think they had an ND for the lens
loool that was my first thought.
my favourite was stephens, i just really like the lens flares of the city! so beautiful!
U have inspired me to work a lot on my drone cinematography in my videos so I am thankful :). Great work guys

Can’t wait for u guys to hit 100k, u deserve it!
Lighting is everything. Limitations make you grow.
I seriously want this lens now with my BMPCC 6k. So thanks for all of you taking on the challenge. I pick no one because everyone did a great job in dealing with what you were given.
I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure there's no version available for the 6k.

@@Architek1 That sounds odd, but pretty cool! I've avoided them because of the mount restrictions, but I'll take another look.
What did they use for continues focus ?

Good job all around. The purpose was to showcase the lens, job which you guys did perfectly. The competition was the bonus. 1. Tommy; 2 Stephen and 3 Mitch.
This is a win for Tommy so far !
Tommy has shoot the best video buuuut... YOU ARE AN AMAZING TRIO.

Same
If the night had more of a story and sfx it would've been mad
Tommy wins it for me, but he also had the easiest conditions! Thanks for the great video
Honestly I liked the motorcycle one just because I prefer videos with more action, and I'm a sucker for a perfectly tracked shot of a vehicle in motion! 😍

Tommy’s B-roll was the best among three but hey all of the were nice.
dang the bokeh is nice!would love to shoot with my friends Z6 in a dim hall with 1 light source and a smoke machine and of course at least 2 pretty looking actresses/photo models!!!
bernhardtsen74 that’s the beauty of anamorphic lens, you get awesome cinematic bokeh. And good luck brother . Cheers 🥂
@@sazanrai6210 I would love to buy a monitor too with the anamorphic desqueeze build in!theyre at least 250 dollars!
bernhardtsen74 yeah you should buddy. Now film making is so affordable compare to last few years.
Stephen got my vote :)
1. Tommy
2. Stephen
3. Mitch
Mitchell's video was most just different shots of the same thing. Sorry not sorry😬
Tommy’s is the best but all were great. This review of this lens I’ve watched today, first video by you guys I’ve seen, it was great!
really fun to watch
This video is so fresh and nice that I've just watched half and felt obligated to scroll down a bit and subscribe before finish the whole :D
I think all 3 did a fantastic job!! But imma have to say Tommy’s shot was the best concept overall :)

I love your videos!!! Love from the Philippines🇵🇭❤️💯
So beautiful video quality along all video and colours!
Totally Loving The Battle Videos!!
Thank you!
Hands down Tommy got the best shots and editing turned on the banger. Great job buddy.
Actually I liked Mitch's vid most! Good variety in shots whilst having the hardest shooting conditions.. VOTE!
Great video as always !!! Almost at 100k !!🎉🎉 Can't wait to see those tattoos 😂 lol
I don't even care about the lens or shit, I spent this video appreciating the beauty of the place they are shooting in. I wish I had some place like that near me.
Night shot by Stephen! Something about low light and anamorphic just kicks ass! Nice work tho from all you guys !
All edits y'all put out are straight 🔥🔥🔥
I think that STEVEN LOOKS COOL
THE BEST DAY.. IS TMS UPLOAD DAY:)
Haha thank you!
WOOOOH! Another great video guys! Tommy's editing was DOPE, but I personally loved the night shots better because of that bokeh and atmosphere! Keep up the work brothers!
Golden hour is best....❤️🔥🎉
Tommy got it🔥🔥🔥
Stephen won by far, in my opinion!!!! That bokeh 👌👌
Stephen clearly wins😍
All of them were good...good job!!!
All three of you guys are extremely talented, but, I loved Tommy's footage and edit. BTW - I just ordered a SIRUI 35mm Anamorphic Lens, thank you for the inspiration!
Stephen had no chance. Tommy crushed it.
Stevens sequence got me, it was really good❤️
Mitchell’s was my favourite
Stunning footage! Stunning! Loved all of it.
you should do this with phones! would be really cool and prove that your raw talent is key!!
My heart stopped for a millisecond when you flipped the lens at 2'20"
you guys should do a drone cinematic b-roll challenge with one main subject, or like a short story format...
Tommy killed it!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
guys its amazing !
1. Stephen
2. Tommy
3. Mitchell
Tommy it was awesome.
I don't know about the lens but those videos and effort hatsoff.
in my opinion tommy won the crown.
because of detailing and colour.
#3 was for sure the best, I loved the others though too
Tommy stole the show...

Night 🌙 shot was great . Others were good but he made it work although he had little light.
You three guys awesome bro
Tommy's Video is Best 👍
How does Anamorphic look in the ocean/water? Just curious on what type of effect the lens would have
That is a really good question 🤔
@@TMSProductions guess ill have to try it out once I get money.
loving the tag things introducing the guys lol
Love your content guys have you ever thought you're someones idol, okay you're now
You guys are so close to 100K subs
Please could you tell me witch ND filter you used on Sirui 35mm Lens? Thank you
What did they use for continues focus ?
I loved the concept of all of them but Tommy took the Gold
WHEW! pretty heckin sweet my dudes!
