I don't own any of the handhelds, but what I hear from people who own the rog ally is that one of the major reasons they got it is because of it's VRR (variable refresh rate) which makes playing games smoother. They always bring that up when choosing the rog ally over the legion go. I personally prefer the legion go because I feel like navigating windows on such a small screen like the rog Ally's would be crazy.

Yes, VRR is good, but the Legion Go gives you the option to manually set the refresh rate of the display. With a bit of tweaking, you can achieve a better experience thanks to the superior screen on. I don't understand why Asus would put an ugly screen with big bezels on a $400 handheld

@@essowbyteagreed, I feel like at at that price point you’re much better off buying a steam deck LCD and side-loading windows. That’s if you really need to use windows for whatever reason.
      Edit:
Looks like they just released windows drivers for the OLED one yesterday.

I own a ROG Ally. Use everyday. I can do way more stuff on it than you can on your legion or gamepad. It's a powerful Win 11 computer. I put a case, screen protector on it and have it docked to my monitor. I used to travel with a laptop. Now it's Me and my Ally. I agree the bezels could go away. But for handhelds... Do you really need anything higher than 1080? for 400 bucks it's a no brainier for me. Does everything I want and does more than your overpriced waste of tech handhelds.
