    This is going to be an interesting watch.
    the fuel crisis made way for some of the best cars ever made in the late 80's, 90's and even early 2000's. Now america is going back to the roots of big, heavy, spacious BOATS and I'm willing to bet history is going to repeat itself.

    We need to get back to making sedans again (especially V8 Muscle sedans like the Charger and 300).

      @A-BombEnergy At some point, people will have to take measures in their own hands to stop this bs. And I am not talking about violence, but simply not buying any of their products for an extended period of time, and they will be forced to shift towards what the consumer wants. People always complain about the Toyota Tacoma having rear drum brakes. Well, if you stopped buying the Tacoma, manufacturers would be forced to change things in order to satisfy the customer, but if you keep buying it, then why would they change anything?

    Really good content from this channel so far! I think gen-z will see trucks and SUVs as uncool and drive up sedan interest in the years ahead. And I’m all for it

    • @A-BombEnergy
      @A-BombEnergy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey brother thank you for the kind words. I too think Gen-Z will prop the sedans back up. You will see in the full film why too actually. But basically, people don't want to drive the car their parents drove is the gist of that specific topic. It actually makes no sense on why Sedans are leaving too, I think there is so much more to it than we realize...which I hope to get everyone's opinions on with the full film. We shall see. -Brandon

      Waiting until gen z becomes the main target of the market may take decades with current wages and job market, however one way to erradicate these nefarious things is by ramping up demand for cars like the nissan versa while they still exist which, yeah its outdated and stuff, but its way under 20k (cheapest car in america apparently), manual, has a reliable engine AND ITS A SEDAN, right now is the moment to go for cars like that since trucks and suv's, even with dealer discounts, are insanely overpriced and out of range for the average person, y'all need to remember that manufacturers, no matter what, will only sell something profitable.

  • @michaelsaine

    i honestly think sedans are they way t go for the advrage family, and coupes even better for a singlr person or couple. i do admit i drive a pickup around, but its small(1st gen s10) and what i have right now, but am working on an old mustnag that will be awesome for me to drive around with better storage for things i cant put in a truck bed and better gas millage while still being relitivly cool, even if its a completely base model mustang.

      @A-BombEnergy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Totally brother, I own 3 Sedans out of 6 cars and I drive the sedans WAY more than my Jeeps. Honestly, you S10 is smaller than some of the sedans out there, so you basically drive a sedan truck, which btw, I am super jealous of that S10...those were the days. How many miles have you cranked up on the ticker? Get that Mustang up and running and you will have a sweet collection there. -Brandon

    • @A-BombEnergy
      @A-BombEnergy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Totally agree brother. Honestly, just give me the station wagon, the modern ones like the Mercedes and BMW ones over in Europe are my favorite. I had the pleasure of driving a Mercedes AMG wagon for 2 weeks and it was AMAZING. Not only could I fit a ton of my gear in it, drive through the Alps, but I could do it fast and max it out on the Autobahn. I might be going back to Europe for some work in the next few months, I'll try to get some amazing footage next time. Thanks for commenting and I am glad to see you. -Brandon

      I have a SUV because I tow a boat every week, and a minivan because it’s the single greatest kid carrier on the planet. However, I really miss the sedans. So much easier to drive and much more fun. I’m hoping that when the kids are older, I can get something like a WRX instead of a Minivan.

    Here in Saudi we have the Ford Mondeo but they have renamed it the Ford Taurus It is made by the Chinese manufacturer Changan It has mixed options , The Chevy dealership has an MG SUV rebadged as a Chevrolet but no sedans. Nearly every “SUV” is literally just a FWD sedan with a fat ugly body on it. Maybe AWD as an option, but it costs extra in a lot of cases. There’s hardly even any REAL 4x4 SUVs anymore! 90s Icons like the Durango, Grand Cherokee, Pathfinder, Cherokee, Blazer are all literally minivans now. They’re even talking about replacing the WRANGLER with a crossover equivalent and getting rid of its solid axles over at Stellantis! It’s absolutely outrageous.

    • @A-BombEnergy

      Gosh you are so correct in this. I get why the auto makers are doing it but they are literally going about it in one of the worst ways in my opinion and I think this is going to reflect very poorly on them in the future. Long term planning seems to be completely off the table for many companies and hopefully, in the full video, we can help change that...or at least be able to say "I told you so." Wagons and sedans are obselete. The crossover has killed them. I own a 2000 saturn sw2 wagon and a 2005 saturn vue. The wagon has a 125hp 1.9 4 and the vue a 150 hp 2.2 4. The vue gets the same fuel economy but its larger, heavier, roomier, has more cargo space, quieter, far more comfortable, bigger fuel tank so it goes farther, greater ground clearance which is great for flooding (which we get alot of here). In short its superior to the wagon in nearly every single metric.

    • @A-BombEnergy
      @A-BombEnergy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its really sad because personally, I love sedans and I REALLY love wagons. But from an objective point of view, this will come back to bite them I think. What you are comparing is a small piece of the pie I think, while I totally agree with the superiority of the SUV in some aspects, there are some downsides...but you will have to wait for the full film 😉. I will say this, comparing the Sedan version of lets say the Taos to the Jetta, Jetta gets better fuel economy. Auto makers have really come close to perfecting the sedan...and now they are ending it. Thanks for commenting brother, its always a pleasure speaking with you. 🫡 -Brandon
