Remember you can put logic adaptors on the reactor to automatically shut it down if damage or temperature get too high, then reactivate once they go back down
Hey man, really cool gameplay! Let me help you with one thing: if you want to increase brine, and therefore sodium, production you can use a heat generator from mekanism. You only need to feed RF into the machine, set a temperature you want to reach and connect the heat generator to the evaporation tower with heat pipes from mekanism. In this way you can dramatically increase brine production and produce it also by night, since the generator doesn’t need sun to work!
Resistive heater but I came here to say this as well. You can also put it directly on valves. I usually build my towers one block apart then can heat both without worrying about heat pipes.
True, squashing is way more humane, the bee feels close to no pain because it dies almost instantly, while keeping it in a cage for the rest of eternity as a piece of data is just plain cruel.
@dubl33_27 how do you know? There's a character in Star Trek that is nothing but data, and whenever his program is shut off, he remains conscious and just can't do anything other than think.
So for the brine, you can setup resistive/fuelwood heaters (one uses energy, the other uses wood) to heat up the evap tower which will massively speed up the evap tower's production. I think it also allows it to work at night iirc. Edit: Forgot to include that you'll need Thermal Evaporation Valves to input the heat & either Thermodynamic Conductors (basically heat pipes) or have the machine directly connected to the valve!
Resistive heaters work even better than the fuelwood heaters. Taking energy instead of burn able fuels if used at a rate of about 800rf/t it can fully heat a max size tower. You can also place them directly against the valve and there is no need for thermal-conductive pipes
@@savagecorn1739 I mentioned that it can be directly against the valve :p "or have the machines directly connected to the valve" Was unaware that resistive is better, I thought it was the same just one taking burnables vs energy. Good to know
Remember to use reactor logic ports to stop your reactor from blowing up overnight! You need at least two, one to detect high temperature and one to turn the reactor off once it detects high temperatures. (Keep in mind that you should make it lock off once it reaches high temperatures so it doesn’t repeatedly turn on and off and keep building up heat)
You don’t gotta worry about any dominant or recessive mumbo jumbo with bee breeding, it’s just a percent chance of getting whichever bee luckily. Going by your luck you’ll probably get a copper bee next, and then finally an iron bee
You can use *resistive heater* to greatly speed up your brine production. It is much better to plug it into evaporation tower than to make more towers. Just power it, set how much power it takes per tick, and all that get's converted into heat that'll speed up brine production.
I have been watching your videos for 10 years on and off, and I just want to tell you what an inspiration you have been for me and I assume many other young minds. Your music is amazing, and the fact that you keep on doing content just goes to show the legacy you have built. Never forget that. I hope this reaches you brings a smile to your face. Cincerly, a loving fan
So how long until he realizes that he accidentally replaced some of those water source blocks under those pumps with thermal evaporation blocks when he was building those towers? I think it is probably going to be fine since the pumps are so numerous but if his systems falls over because of it then that wouldn't be good.
8:20 - it was listed in degrees Kelvin (starting at absolute zero for some reason) and so it didn't boil until it hit the temperature (373) at which water boils at sea level IRL. 14:10 - that's not a mirror, that's a translocation 18:25 - "boiling" temperature depends on the pressure; a high pressure environment raises the boiling temperature... so no, the Enderman isn't in *boiling* water
Usually when I watch a modded minecraft series it gets boring after 15-20 episodes, but this one just keeps beeing entertaning! It motivated me to play this modpack myself and I had a lot of fun :)
Quick tip, in the thermal evaporation plants you can use a resistive heater (with an extra port) instead of the solar panels, to heat up as much as you want (depending on how much power you feed into the resistive heater). That way you can produce a ton of brine very quickly
*The Enderman cares not for the laws of man nor for the consequences of his actions. He has ascended to a higher plane of existence that allows him to observe the world and ignore anything that might occur due to his presence in it.*

Dear Jardon: It is a Minecraft feature that the more you do not sleep in a world, the greater the chance for rain to happen becomes. It is a stupid feature, but it is still a built-in mechanic. Unfortunately to reduce rain frequency, you have to sleep more, unfortunately that is not possible when you AFK overnight, when you are actually sleeping. My advice: /gamerule doWeatherCycle false (turn back to true if for some reason you ever need the rain, this is not cheating, as we do not negotiate with people who thought it was a good idea to increase weather frequency based on time not slept.)
you can setup a failsafe with the mekanism fission reactor using the redstone ports and comparators, this saved my file numerous times as it would just cycle power on and off as if you use 4 of the ports (one set to output at no fuel, one at high temp, one at no coolant and one set to toggle power) and make it so that with the comparators set with the three bad ones turn on the redstone signal going into the one that toggles power so that when it recognizes one of the bad situations, it will turn off. You can find a bajillion tutorials of this online (I used one that was for Mekanism 1.12 and it still works just fine the only difference is that the textures may have been a bit different). Also the explosion is more of an implosion and you can reduce this a bit too by encompassing the build in obsidian
Hey cap, didnt know if you knew, but you can increase the temperature in the brine processor and thus increase the output rate, also as far as i know you can siphon off heat from the reactor into the brine towers (or at least used to be able too) as well as using the solar panels. there might be an actual heater you can use instead if you need, they run off coal and other things. 2:00
I'm pretty sure some blocks can be placed on a reactor that can send out a redstone signal when something happens to it, which can then turn off the reactor to keep it from exploding.
There's a "heating rate" shown in reactor gui. Which means you need this much coolant every tick for it to absorb all the heat. And since you have the biggest boiler possible it is safe to assume that it converts all of the heated coolant back to normal in one tick. Hence, you can rump up you reactor at least to the point of consumming half of all the coolant you have every tick.
Yet again mentioning that you should put a book enchanted with basically all the mining and durability enchants into the simulation miners, it massively boost and discounts them
The solar panels on top of the brine towers can also be connected to your energy network. As I recall, that doesn't hurt the brine production. Or you could just wire them to a resistive heater for each tower, and get *more* brine.
Big brain idea: make another layer on the create auto-farm like 2-3 blocks above the previous plants, then you just need to increase the size of the create machine and not add more crux thingies
"If I were smart I would just bring the cable up here and use a wireless reciever or put an interface so I can access" Alternatively you can just put network transmitter/reciever down and you don't need any cables! :D
With your resource gen you should just use the build tool to put glass over your entire island, Mobs can't spawn on it, sunlight will still pass through. Plus no more rain.
I heard you can use the heat from the reactor to power the thermoelectric boilers, I've never done that but might be worth looking into :) Also Attunement for more OP when?
So uh.. Is no one goign to mention that at 12:52 Jordan decides to use his building gadget to help him with his sodium tower and theres a lot of blocks that just get placed inside of hsi water generation system, overriding water blocks, and he just LEAVES IT LIKE THAT FOR THE WHOLE VIDEO.

Hey just so you know if your power becomes full your steam will stop processing and being used and then there won’t be enough water in the boiler which backs up the heated sodium which makes no sodium go back into the reactor causing it to explode so you might wasn’t to hook up a logic adapter to a induction cell to make sure that that doesn’t happen
I love that all the machines arent even loud and i have to listen close to even hear them over his yelling (that or i just dont hear machines anymore thanks to amazon idk i cant tell)
They should make a mod where you can craft an umbrella that makes it look like your character is always under blocks so you never have to worry about video compression
If you slap on resistive heaters on the evaporation plants, you can just have it going through the night. You can just set it to whatever excess amount of energy you have after your current machines are using. You can even just build one and just pipe the heat out to all three plants.
you can use a resistive heater for the thermal evap tower, you can extract power from the solar panels even when they are part of the multiblock to run it. so you get a higher water/brine exchange rate during the day and you can just use your power you already have during night.
